I use this app all the time to find the lowest gas prices. This particularly comes in handy when filling up my 80 gallon tank in my motorhome, particularly on trips outside my city where I am unfamiliar with the location of the lowest priced stations. The "map" feature is particularly helpful wen on a trip, allowing me to find the lowest gas prices on my route and plan my stops accordingly. On last year's trip to the Western national parks, I probably saved over $300 using this app.

Lots of fun, especially if you like to save money on gas and assist others in doing the same. Plus get a chance at winning some! Highly recommended.
Oh sure, it is not perfect. Sometimes the actual price is wrong (cause somebody is cheating?), or the station is closed (they are not ALL open 24 hrs), or the internet is slow, or ......; but it has still saved me gobs of money, it is still more fun to play than the stock market, and I suggest you give it a try.

This was my favorite but since the update it's the worst

Prices of gas are regularly updated, it's really very helpful to know at any given time if the place down the street will be significantly more expensive, or if the difference is negligible. I use this on a regular basis for my own information, though I also additionally enjoy helping out and updating prices when I stop places as well. And it doesn't hurt that they have a points system as a reward for updating prices. All and all a very useful app. I highly recommend it.

This app works great on my phone and as long as everyone reports the prices correctly (which I haven't had a problem yet!) then the gas prices should show as advertised when you show up. I use this app all the time to save me money!!!

** Update...Be sure to get your info in correct the first time because you can't update it after! It won't let you change it! The section in profile "country" is required but you can't fill it so you can't change anything! Aggravating!

I love this app, most helpful for accurate gas prices! I would like to be able to enter more information about the store or fix things I see wrong but I haven't been able to figure that out! I also find it important to report the prices correctly, after all the point of this app:) I also find it fun to see how many days I can do consecutively or how many gas prices I can get!! Keep up the good work, love your app. It has saved me ALOT of money... Thank you

I only fill up once a week or less, so not able to always take advantage of best prices. Still, recently, just as prices were jumping, GB showed two nearby stations @$0.30 less than everywhere else. Huge line at first one, so tempted to try the other; someone there told me the other had run out of gas. Not a lot of savings on 11 gals, but still makes me feel like I'm making a difference, and honoring my Dad, who would drive 15 miles for 19.9/gal. (That's cents)

Great app. Has saved us a lot of money while traveling. Also has guided us to gas stations at night during stormy weather in unfamiliar areas, a very valuable added safety benefit. At home, I consult the app several times a week and have often found stations a few blocks off my planned route that are 10 cents/gal or more lower.
Need horizontal view as the phone is often mounted.
Do not want adds from gas stations, so give option to turn that function off.

With the wild fluctuations in gas prices these days, I don't even think about stopping for gas without consulting gas buddy. I find it particularly helpful when traveling in unfamiliar territory where a cheap station could be unknowingly just stroud the block---or not! When the gauge starts getting down to about ¼, we open gas buddy and it takes us directly to the cheapest station along our route. I wouldn't leave home without it. Easy to use and reliable.

Love this App
I love this app and a lot of the times there are three or four people that post a whole bunch of bad gas prices. I really don't understand why they do it everybody in the world knows their line when I've got 3000 reports up, anyways when you see that! you click on The station that is wrong and correct the price. and that's how you keep the correct gas prices up there also whenever you correct their gas price they don't get credit for it.

Thank you for helping me find the good gas prices. Just wish they where on my side of town, but if I plan accordingly I can save when going to see friends or doing errands.

The more I've followed gas prices the more I wonder why the price is always higher in the lower income areas.

Also it's annoying to keep being asked to review the app, when I've already done so, other then that I've never had any problems with it and appreciate its usefulness!

The Bible app is my #1 & this is right there as a #1.1 if you can do that. If not, it's a close second. Due to driving a lot, this app has become a must for me. We have vehicles that use 3 of the 4 fuels. Marine fuel would be a nice addition, as well as cash vs. credit. Only issue, I've never received the price increase notifications even though I'm set up for it so not sure if that truly works or not. I still love the app. Great idea and concept!!!

I need premium gas and not all stations carry it. I can filter the search to look for premium which helps me avoid unnecessary stops at stations which don't sell premium. I find the app useful when traveling, especially using the map feature. Easy to report prices with confirm function. Beware of old prices... you may find a significantly different price than you expect... but that is not a flaw in the app. I like that the prices are noted with age.

This app is amazing. I love how helpful it is to find the cheapest gas in the area. However, I wish there was a simple place (if there even is a place I can't find it) to find your favorite gas stations. Although they may not be in the immediate vicinity, I would like to know if those places are cheaper than what I'm immediately near. I would rather drive an extra 5-10 minutes to my favorite gas stations if it's cheaper than the area I'm looking.

Makes looking for and reporting gas prices fun, alerts you when prices are about to go up, saves me money, helps me pay more attention to the gas prices without having to go out and look around for the best price. It's a community of people who report prices for others to see, therefore making it fun to earn points, and enter into drawings. I really like this app and use it almost daily. I need to get other people in my family to use it as well.

- the advertising in the listing is a bit junky. I wish there was a premium app... Or standards for cleaner ads.
- this really chews up my data. I suspect it is the advertising. I would prefer an app that uses less data.
- info has save me money and made me realize my old gas station was not offering good pricing.
- I like the map feature. It was easy to see pricing change across the city. Wild!

This app is very helpful for finding the most reasonable gas prices. I not only use it in my area, but when I visit family and friends. I used to have the link as a bookmark to my home screen, recently downloaded the app (now I earn points because I am reporting gas prices). Funny thing is, I tell my friends and family about the app and they think I'm obsessed (I kinda am - obsessed). The app works perfectly for me; don't change a thing!

Sent feedback about problems with app ... within minutes an email message indicated their server problem & within hours the app was working as expected.
Just wish Rec-90 fuel was listed in the "find", "search", or selection category. Antique cars or small engines do not last when using ethanol fuels. Only the boating industry has figured this out. At some point "recharging" stations will also be a plus ... one app for all fuel needs.

I have been using this app for several years and it keeps getting better. Updating prices is a lot easier now, as is switching to map view. I do miss not having the Top Tier flag as I always try to only use that type of gas. I am aware of most stations that carry Top Tier, but it was a useful feature. Granted, this app does not always have the most accurate gas price, but it does most of the time and it is very quick and convenient.

I love this, it is much more then a app. It is a life saver , money saver. I also enjoy the other people that participate . I'm sure that it is save me over $1000 in gas savings. This app and website is extremely addictive. It's also a great way to find out gas prices all over the United States as well as connect with people that post those prices. I recommend this app to all my friends and family I would recommend this to anyone.
