This app has been very helpful in finding the best price for fuel while on the road and at home. Most often, the best price for fuel isn't at the locations closest to a highway or busy roads. Knowing about those out-of-the-way locations and whether it's worth the time to drive there is often a matter of chance. Gas Buddy has made finding the best priced fuel incredibly easy. I've been able to save 20¢ or more per gallon by traveling a mile or so off the beaten path, especially while traveling cross-country. The reported prices have been quite accurate considering the volatility of fuel prices.

I've used Gas Buddy for several years now and it's just gotten better and better.
I now travel periodically literally from coast to coast and Gas Buddy has never let me down with finding the best price for the area I'm in and what I'm driving at the time.
I turn to this app every time I fill up. The difference in price from one station to another, sometimes less than a mile apart and both on or near the route in taking, make it worth the time to check.
Do yourself and your wallet a favor. Never again fill your tank without checking Gas Buddy first. Your bank account will love you for it.

I love GasBuddy! I used the app for a couple of years and then came to the realization that I should reports prices to give back to the crowdsourcing that has given so much to me. I discovered that reporting prices is fun! Now the best part...this app has saved me a lot of money. I guarantee this app has saved me somewhere between $200 and $350 in savings when I get gas. I travel, a lot, and I always use this app to "look ahead" and plan my stops where gas is the cheapest. 10 cents per gallon (or often a lot more) really adds up over time. Thank you GasBuddy! When I need gas I ALWAYS look for the prices around me. 8 out of 10 times they are correct. If I get to the station & it's not the same price as stated, I just go & put in the current price. I like the idea of being able to correct or confirm prices on cash or credit. That makes it so much easier if someone is using credit. Which I don't do. As I said it's good for a Credit card people. Also, it's great receiving points for Confirming or changing to the Correct amount. Also with a 1000 points you can enter to to win free Gas. I Just Love This App. Thank you Gas Buddy. I use this app all the time for finding the cheapest gas and I love it! I love it so much that I registered and started inputting gas prices! It's great! Having said that, I agree with the other reviewer that knowing if a station was in front of you or behind would be a huge improvement!! Also, I've been frustrated that some stations lie about their gas prices to attract business, especially if they are a bit off the highway. I have started disregarding these stations in favor of chains that are more likely to be truthful. Those are my only 2 issues - I love the app!!

One suggestion would be to allow to indicate a station is not selling gas...a "generic" gas station stopped selling didn't change sign for months people reported gas at $2.319; while most were well over $2.50++!! I traveled across town 5 miles to find price "right" but no gas!! This continued for several mtgs...it was next to one of my favorite pizza stops!! It was disheartening to think many others may have made to trek but disappointed followed!!! Bill B

Great app but it seems one of my local gas station owners is posting their prices at a lower price to game the system. I've been tricked twice this week to drive to a nearby station posting the lowest gas prices only to see the price substantially higher when I got there. I noticed both times the name posting the incorrect price was the same. Moreover, after I update to the correct gas price the same member changes it back lower later that day.

I suggest a way to report possible fraudulent posters. Or perhaps limit a user to only be able to update once per gas station.

I have been looking for an app that would list all gas prices in my area, including Sams Club & Costco. Look no further this app is legit. This is my go to app whenever I'm in need of some gas no matter my location. It is always accurate for me and provides the prices at my favorite stations without any issues. I shop for regular & Premium Unleaded and it is great. I do like if a price changes, us a s users are able to update it to the current prices to help each other out. I give this thing 5 stars. On accuracy alone. Plus, it has the 3D Touch feature which I love.

This is a wonderful app to use, especially when traveling around different places. I love how you're able to add in gas stations and find stations that do not appear on highway signs. I do wish that the app would connect faster for when you submit your gas prices as well as use the locator for getting directions to the stations. This mainly is affected by the service of the area so I would recommend that you try to find the station before you're in extreme need for gas.
I highly recommend this app for those who travel and want to find the cheapest gas prices.

The good: This app is amazing and a great way for everyone to work together to keep track of fuel prices & patronize the stations with the lowest prices!!! It also helps to locate gas stations you want to use!!! They also have incentives for users to keep current prices posted. The bad: For a free app, I can deal with obnoxious ads. They should have a paid ad free version for those who can't stand the ads. Most users try to post accurate prices. Unfortunately some get caught up in the incentives & don't always make sure the prices they confirm are accurate.

I have never had anything work as well and be so useful to help me save money and feel like I'm not getting ripped off anymore than gas prices already have me getting ripped off
It does seem like we as consumers have no control of the fluctuations of gas prices but it is interesting they seem to go up with the major traveling holidays are coming near? Hmmm
At least we have a defense against this type of price gouging and profiteering
I wish I could do the same for my paycheck when I am in need of more money I could just get paid more because I say so

This App is great, I'm sure I've saved $100's, over the years, but the ads are getting tiresome

If you travel, this is a "MUST HAVE". It's great fun as a passenger to enter prices you see as you drive. I always try to enter the cheapest price I find in my home town. Figure those passing thru could use the help. There are 4 stations close by each other & the Warehouse store isn't always open so I post the others when I can. On two recent trips the cheapest gas was like 1/4 mile away from the freeway $0.15 to $0.20 per gal less and is worth the detour.

Love the New Features! I use this app daily! It has saved me 30 cents per gallon many times by getting to the station & filling up before they hike the price after getting the Notification that there is a Price Hike in my Area! Its Never been wrong! However there is 1Flaw in the update I see many others are experiencing as well & that is The Notification Will Not Go Away!!! I am afraid it cause me to miss the next "Real" Notification as I have gotten use to ignoring the notification icon. Please Fix!! With that exception, its The Best App Out There!

I've had this app for years, thru several phones (& different iOS upgrades) and continue to love it! The app is very user friendly, one touch on the huge icon and it finds the gas station closest to you). And I barely even have to even look at my phone to use it (which is awesome when driving - I hate even touching my phone while in motion).
I wish I traveled more to update new prices I find but at least when I do travel, I know the cheapest place to go. And it is a fun little competition even with coupons & contests.

My favorite app. It works quickly, without glitches, and does what you expect it to do every time - creates a list of gas prices for all of the stations near you.

I used it last weekend when traveling by myself and it was incredible. Not only does it list all of the gas prices for the stations near you, but it helped in unexpected ways. I could figure out where more congested areas were based on how near I was to a cluster of gas stations, guess at then finding restaurant/fast food options, restrooms, etcetera.

I tell EVERYONE about this app!

This app is really great for finding the cheapest gas in the area when out in a different neighborhood or city. It's nice also having the Costco and SAMs club pricing when out in Arizona. Reporting price changes is very easy and super quick to update when users update prices. Now if only fuel in California would go down to under 2.50 a gallon for Premium, wouldn't that be nice haha. But In all seriousness, the app is really solid. Few bugs here and there and a very rare occasional crash, but other than that the app works perfectly.

Love this app. Mostly always accurate, especially since it went to cash and credit pricing. One problem is some people just repost the previous costs without verifying them. Doesn't happen much, but when you're counting on the info to be accurate, it's annoying. One other problem I've noticed is diesel pricing on a station that doesn't sell diesel fuel. They do, however, sell kerosene and it's being reported as diesel. I've reported the problem numerous times, to no avail. I finally gave up. All in all, it's one of my favorite apps!!!

This is a great app. It's very easy to set up your preferences. Easy and fun to use, and really saves you considerable fuel expenses. Updating your local stations prices is a breeze and you have a chance to win big prepaid gas prizes each month for doing so. You can quickly sort by station price or tap and switch to the distance sort. You can set your preference for any of the 3 gas grades or to diesel as I do. I've tried several of the other gas apps and this one is by far the best. I highly recommend installing and using it. MH.

Lets you see current gas prices for all gas stations in the US based on user input. I report gas prices whenever I stop to fuel up. I've found the posted prices to be accurate 99% of the time. As some reviews have noted, be sure to check the last time the price was reported, if it's been a day, there's a good chance the price has changed since then. Luckily with many users reporting all the time, it's rarely more than a few hours since the price was reported or confirmed. I highly recommend this app. Saves me a ton of money.

Not only is this app easy pretty darn accurate as so many people are updating prices all day everyday, price hunting is fun. I find myself pulling over to report prices more often than not even when I don't need anything from the location. Hop on board and let's stop getting robbed for gasoline by using only inexpensive locations to drive down prices. With a fee app like this to do it, WHY not. No bugs or issues I have run into yet and you even can enter to win a daily gas card with points earned for reporting prices, no brainer!
