I track the price of gas on a daily basis and enter the info into a spread sheet. I use Gas Buddy for my 2 local stations. I also use it to find the least expensive and even though I have to drive a bit to get the cheapest gas Gas Buddy lets me know that the 25 to 30 cents a gallon is worth the few extra miles. THANKS for your help, knowledge and informative app. I also access it on my lap top.

This app has saved me tons of money. I need premium gas for my vehicle of which there can be a difference of up to .35 to .40 cents a gallon from the ripoff gas stations. No matter where I go this app saves me money in towns where I don't even KNOW where the gas station are to choose from. I would gladly buy this app for what it has done for me!

Need pure gas... I just ask my buddy.

I love this app; the interface is really easy to use and it does really save me money.

The nearest town to me has for gas stations; two of them are consistently $.20 higher than the other two. When I travel, I notice the same thing happening, so that's when I really count on Gas Buddy.

FYI, on the other hand, sometimes I notice all the prices in a town being exactly the same. Price-fixing???

I feel that many reporters never stop at a station, only confirm. Keep in mind, that MILLIONS of people use this app and don't want to go on a wild goose chase.. I also find the adds annoying and useless!.....I'm considering dropping the app because many of the people reporting prices wait for someone else to report them and then they confirm without checking! I've actually witnessed this!:(

This app saves me money every time I fill up.
The wide variance in the price of diesel especially is amazing and often I don't have to drive very far to save 10-20 cents per gallon.

It would be great if there was a filter function to find stations that sell DEF at the pump, have E-85, Kerosene or other specialty fuels. Also filter for stations that can accommodate RVs or larger trailers.

This is a wonderful app that lets you compare gas prices while in town, and find a cheap (economical) gas station while on the road. There are options to check by price or proximity. Since everyone contributes gas price information to the app, I have found it to always be up-to-date. And I, for one, am VERY happy that data cannot be entered while driving! Doesn't that just keep us all safe?

This is a very good crowd sourcing app. Can alway refer to the prices in the near by gas stations before filling up the tank.

However, the ranking methodology is flawed. On one had you state "Never use the app while driving" but then you rank users based on the proximity of the station when filling in the gas prices.

Users please do not use the app in reporting the prices when driving.

This app is one of my favorites. Users of this app, including me, input gas prices and everyone benefits. One of its best uses are when traveling to have your copilot locate inexpensive gas prices a mile off the freeway, which are bound to be lower than the stations at the freeway. The map displays the stations so you can determine how easy or hard it will be to get back to the freeway.

I love this app it save me time and money and is very accurate and helps with is showing in hour format how long ago a person posted the price so you just have to be careful because longer the time from the last post the prices could have change so just keep that in mind but past commen since,this app have saved me more money then ever and I recommend it to everyone I know then some.

Excellent overall app. I have been using it for well over three years and it has improved greatly. Definitely will save you money. The only problem I have is with the consistency of the Top Tier labeling. You would think that all the stations listed using the Top Tier tab would have that designation but the are not. Top Tier gas like Shell and Sunoco are not always shown as such.

I love this app - just drove 1900 miles and use it every time. Like others have said, it would be nice to somehow find the cheapest gas in a wider range of travel, but you can only scale the map out to about 20 miles before it gets too cluttered. I personally didn't have any problem with in accurate prices, but I can see how the challenges would encourage this. This app is awesome.

Use this App all the time. Plan my day of driving and time and to see where is the best gas pricing. I check by map and cites or area of a city. Save time by not driving around checking my favorite gas stops. Get in your car check gas gauge to see when you will need to buy gas. Then check that locations gas prices before you get there. Or their might be somewhere cheaper en route.

One of my most used apps, very helpful, and very accurate. Have not found a wrong price yet. This truly does save me gas, money and time. In today's economy, finding the best price and closest to me sure helps. Just by pushing two buttons. Have not yet had any glitches, very user-friendly, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. Lol, bonus chance of winning gas. (-:

Been using for thirteen years and saved a bunch, lower prices don't stay stationary so staying current is the best approach. We travel enough that it is our savior in unfamiliar territory, thanks to all the GB's across the country. Even locally it regularly saves a lot.
Keep finding some that seem to update old prices without checking and get it wrong, hard to monitor.

This app is extremely useful,and informative. It has options that you can find gas stations on a longer route if you're going traveling or you can set it to your home Area and it will keep track of all the gas station In your area. I would have no problem recommending this app to anyone. It also shows difference in price if it changes, when it changes, not the next day

I've been using the app for about two years. My husband and I find it to be very useful in determining where we go to fill up. After reading a couple of the reviews here, it's so unfortunate some people would post inaccurate prices. Those individual users should somehow be blocked from using the app.
Thanks for making a good tool for traveling! We consistently use it!

My husband is very focused on gas prices and has been known to drive past multiple gas stations to get a few cents cheaper per gallon. Now GasBuddy is our first check when it's time to fill up. We then can arrange our errands around the gas station he wants to go to--making it much more efficient and logical. It totally works for our family!! The savings are great!

Still the best app to find the cheapest gas around. The app is easy-to-use; easy enough to update as you're at a stoplight. Once launched w/a single click you can bring up a list of nearby gas stations and (probably) their current prices.

Just this morning I had to get gas and pulled up their list of stations. By driving one block further, I saved $.20/gallon.

I LOVE this app! One of the best on my iPhone. It's fun to report prices, and so useful to compare stations. The only thing I would recommend is that they add the heat map with averages for every city & customizable graphs. These features are offered online, but I would love for them to be included in the app. Other than that, I am in love and I highly recommend it!

I constantly monitor the gas prices around my area to see whose cheaper and when to buy gas and when to wait. I'm retired so I don't use a lot of fuel so I can pick and choose when and where to buy and this app is an excellent tool for doing that. I especially like the notifications on when prices are going up or down in my area. I can't leave home without it!!!
