I just used this for the first time in NYC. I was in a rush and needed to drive in instead of take the train so I DLed this app on my way into the city. Unfortunately the street was closed that I paid for a reservation at which delayed my ability to get to where I needed to be on time. I quickly used the app to find a deck close by and paid and reserved it through my phone too. This app is super useful for this purpose. I was able to compare decks by price and location and get directly click from the app to my google maps app to get there. User tip: read and look at the picture on the SpotHero app because it tells you the exact location of the entrance and what cross streets and if that street is one-way. Google maps doesn't do this so it's super useful to compare when driving in the hectic streets of NYC when you're unfamiliar with the area. So I like to give back to companies and rate good ones and offer suggestions. I was on the fence about my rating, pending a call to customer service to see if they could refund or credit the first reservation I made on the blocked street. I just got off the phone with them and not only did they refund it but they gave me a $10 credit on the account for the inconvenience. That's great customer service. Awesome app and awesome customer service. Excellent idea. Going to post about it on Facebook to friends. It's pretty easy to use as well.

I love love love this app. Chicago parking rates are the highest in the country. This app is amazing. It offers you so many parking options based on your destination. You can pick your parking option by its location or pricing. You can also select the parameters for how long you will be parked in any one location 2 hours, 2 days its a phenomenal app. The app is super easy to use, simply load your destination and a map pops up with all sorts of parking options and pricing. Pics of the garage location and instructions for getting in and out are listed step by step. I have used this so many times and have always been more than satisfied. I almost don’t want to share this secret because it’s so wonderful. The first time we used spot hero we had an issue trying to get out of a garage (we didn’t follow the instructions coming in) so we called and left a message thinking we would never hear from them and would have to pay additional funds but they called us right back within 2 minutes. They took care of it remotely and let us out of the garage . The customer service is spot on and I won’t park anywhere in the city without using this app - its simply the best!

The spot hero app is innovative, amazing and works so incredibly well. I rarely review apps or gush about how great they are, but the creators of this app deserve my praise. On a recent trip to Philadelphia they made downtown parking not only much easier and much less expensive (I parked 2 blocks from my hotel for 1/2 the price as the hotel parking lot), they also were available by phone to address our questions and to change our reservations as our plans shifted during our vacation. It's impossible these days to get anyone on the phone! But at spot hero everyone we spoke to was not only knowledgeable, but so friendly and courteous it felt like a trusted friend was helping us save stress and money when visiting a new city. The app is extremely simple and straightforward to use. Payment was quick and easy. Checking out of the parking garage at the end of our stay was a breeze and the instructions so easy to follow. Hooray to spot hero for taking the nightmare and ridiculous expense out of city parking. I'm glad I discovered it on this trip and I'll never do any city parking without it again.

True story. At 9 a.m. I was wondering how we were going to quickly find a parking place for a matinée at the Goodman Theater, when we couldn't leave for downtown until a certain time and so forth. Wasn't there an app that lets you reserve spaces? I'd forgotten the name but maybe if I searched...

By 9:15 I had downloaded the app, found a spot, supplied my info, and rented the spot for $16. When I showed up and saw that $16 was the advertised one hour rate, though, I was sure I'd read it wrong and I'd be billed for $40 when it was all over. But no!! I got this bargain rate, on top of knowing where I was going to park in advance. It's like a new era in parking. No, I am not directly or indirectly associated with the Spothero people. I hate to review apps and put it off forever, but I just really owe them a good review now.

I love knowing exactly how much I will pay for parking. I discovered another gem last night. While everyone else was paying 35 bucks a pop to park at the Demi Lovato/Nick Jonas concert, my friends and I grabbed 4:30 PM to 5:30 AM parking at the spotless 112 Congress St. Garage about .5 miles down the road from the TD Garden for a grand total of $9. We had a relaxing stroll through Faneuil Hall on the way to the concert, and spent that $ in much more fun ways. A special shout out to the 112 Congress St. garage people, who charged my iPhone and waited patiently for me to retrieve the spot hero verification number when we returned to our vehicle. They were the sweetest, most professional folks one could hope to across. Keep your phone charged your verification number and spot hero is a fabulous app.

Believe the reviews, it's the best place to find excellent parking at half the price. We stayed in downtown Chicago from Friday to Tuesday over the July 4th holiday at the Dana Hotel and Spa. Their parking was $63 per night with Internet privileges. We found spot hero where 24 hours and was only $25. The parking was less than 1 minute walk from the hotel. We used the parking and would just re-up or extend whenever we needed to. We left the hotel for an entire day to head up to Summerfest in Milwaukee I didn't pay for parking because we were not using the parking structure for 10 hours when we returned we scheduled a spot on the Spot Hero app so for five days I paid a total of $100 rather than five days at $315. It's super easy and super cheap.

After you set your desired time at the spot, you prepay, so all you need to do now is drive to it! No hassle at the garage cause they're expecting you! This app really should be named "Dream Spot"! I will never "NOT" use this app for parking ever again!

I never write reviews but I'm so glad I found Spot Hero. They always find awesome spots to park quickly. We never worry about the professionalism of their service and when we need help they are only a call away and boy do they try everything they can to help you out!!! They are amazing and what you expect when you think of excellent service and the best experience when you have a problem which barely happens. We needed to extend our parking because we had to stay out of state longer than expected but our spot was sold out. Spot hero called the owner of the lot and secured our spot. They made us feel safe and secure even when it was pretty scary!! They rock!!!

I have used this app a few times and it has been very convenient. What really made me love this app, though, was how they responded to a tow.

Recently, I accidentally parked in the wrong lot, and got my car towed. Spot hero customer service was absolutely wonderful. They called all the towing companies for me looking for my car until it was located, got me an uber to where my car was towed to, and were incredibly supportive throughout the entire process of getting my car back. A good app will get plenty of new customers, but wonderful customer service is what keeps customers. I will delete all my other parking apps and solely use this one from now on.

I hate circling the block looking for parking spaces while I'm trying to be on time for a meeting or attempting unsuccessfully on Google to find which is the cheapest parking garage with available spots nearby. Also hate parking in two-hour spots and then having to come outside and move my car several times a day. This app has literally been the answer to my prayers. I recently had to park for several consecutive days in SF and was able to reserve a spot and extend my reservation as I needed -- avoiding having to move my car in the process. Very responsive customer service too -- I once called after hours and they called me right back within 10 min.

This service not only shows you on a map where you can park; it can save you so much money. I go downtown for an hour once a week. Taking the train is an inconvenience, but finding parking that doesn't cost you a kid is tough. I found parking on Spot Hero right by my destination and I paid $14 from 10:30am to 2:00pm, this is the same place I've paid $29 for just a little over an hour for over a year. If you do the math, that's a whole lotta time and money saved thanks to Spot Hero. And it's idiot proof so anyone can use it! Spot Hero handles everything, all you have to do is bring the car.

I was lucky enough to have a first rate first time using Spot Hero! I would definitely use this again it was so easy & convenient. The only minor glitch was since it was my first time using it and I'm old school I wasn't sure if I had to print out the confirmation or not since it wasn't clearly stated on your instructions (I should have known no one uses paper and I kinda thought you could just use your phone but as I said I'm from kinda back in the day) but I called customer service & left my number for them to call me back which they did and couldn't of been nicer. So other than that it was GREAT!

This is hands down the best parking app ever!! I'm so thankful to have been introduced to it! It has definitely saved me a lot of money! There is only one problem I discovered but I doubt it happens a lot. Reserving your spot does not guarantee your spot will be available when you get there. However I think this is more likely to happen if you reserve a spot in a small lot versus a garage. Those small lots do not get a notice to keep a spot open so they fill up and when you get there you are out of luck. Happened to me one time but never happened with a garage spot. I'm still Team Spot Hero!!

I was extremely hesitant to trust this service, considering a tow is a major inconvenience. However I booked a spot in Chicago using SpotHero and it worked seamlessly. I parked in the lot, had a quick conversation with the attendant (due to my reluctance/paranoia) and that was that. Upon my departure my car was in its exact spot untouched, and I had zero trouble exiting my parking venue. I highly recommend this service as it saved me considerable money, albeit at the expense of relying on the unknown. However, i got precisely what I paid for. So go for it, book a spot. It worked great for me.

This app is a lifesaver for anyone looking to park in Manhattan. It's extremely easy to use, as well. I wasn't planning on leaving a review but after calling today I felt I had to. The street of the garage I booked at was completely blocked off due to construction so I called to have them cancel last minute. The women on the phone was SO friendly, I feel like I want to call her next time I'm having a bad day. She was so apologetic even though it wasn't really their fault and refunded my money no problem. The wait to talk to someone was only a few minutes and they have awesome hold music.

A friend told me about the Spothero app and I'm so grateful. I used it to find a place to park in San Francisco and it was so easy. I found a great deal at a garage right next to where I was going (Union Square). I really liked how easy it was to find the garage after I made the reservation. I just hit the directions button and it took me to google maps. And one of the coolest parts is when I got to the garage they knew I was coming and I didn't need to pay them because the payment went straight through the app. SpotHero is the only way I'm going to park my car from now on!

SpotHero is one of those Apps that make you want to say to yourself, “why didn’t I think of that?” Well I didn’t think of it because the obviously brilliant developers at SpotHero did. This App is magic and since downloading I’ve never driven into Chicago without using it. I no longer drive in a circle around a theater or restaurant wondering if I can find a place to park—I’ve already reserved one, normally at a reduced cost, and with unbelievable directions and a picture of the entrance! This app has made going into the City so much more enjoyable!!

I have used SpotHero before and been very pleased. On New Year's Eve, I bought a spot for $15 in downtown Chicago, at least half the typical price for a spot. When I got there, the attendant said the lot was full! I was upset, needless to say. I called SpotHero and left a message. The next morning, they called and left me a vio email me back and said they refunded my purchase AND gave me a $10 credit. I didn't have to argue at all, and they told me they want my experience to be a good experience. I will DEFINITELY be using their service again. :)

If you're like me, the idea of driving into a large city is a little scary, what if you can't find a good place to park? You don't have hours to drive around an unfamiliar place looking for a lot, you don't want to be messing with maps on your phone while you're driving.

I've used this service twice in Chicago, I feel I've gotten very cheap parking and it's been a seamless and stress free experience both times.

Plus, I feel better giving SpotHero my credit card than some random parking company each time.

11/10 would do this again in a heartbeat!

I work in the Loop but live in the burbs and many days Metra is not an option so I have to drive. I was very begrudgingly paying between $35-$40 a day for parking until I found this app and now generally pay $13 a day. I have actually said out loud that I would marry this app if I could. I only hesitated to review it because I'm afraid if too many people figure it out, prices will go up! But today, I got an email for a $10 credit to my account for no particular reason and so I felt inclined to give this app the credit it deserves. Thanks Spot Hero!!
