I don't normally write reviews for apps but I had to this time. This app has so many great deals as opposed to going through the physical garage itself and paying. I'm from NYC so needless to say parking rates out here are insane. But this app will save you time and money. Even gives you extra time you didn't even ask for. That is pure comfort for me. And the customer service on the phone is great. I love speaking with them because they are so friendly and help you with everything you need. I see myself using this app for a long time.

The first couple times I used this I was skeptical. I was worried that the hours listed on the app didn't match what was listed at the actual garage, I thought the attendant would tell me they didn't accept spot hero, etc. etc.

But every time I use it I'm always so impressed with how cheap and smooth of a process it is. It doesn't matter if you're trying to plan while heading into the city or need a spot right at that moment - there's always something available at a ridiculously low price. One of the most valuable apps on my phone!

I just moved to Washington DC from Cali. There is way more traffic and driving in DC then I could have anticipated and for my job in the heart of the city, I needed find good transportation. Luckily a work friend recommended SpotHero to me early on and I have used it ever since. It has saved me so much money and time for my daily commute I couldn’t be happier. I’d love to see the app in more cities so that it becomes the go-to app across the country. I don’t know any of the others, but this application is an Awesome idea!

I'm from Los Angeles visiting Chicago. I had no idea how bad the parking situation was going to be. Certain places charge as much as even $50! When I found Spot Hero, it saved my life (okay, my wallet )! I would find huge discounts and pretty good spots, with the compromise that I had to walk even 0.5-1.6 miles to my destination. But if you're saving $40, it is so worth it. I would highly recommend this app in every high density metropolitan area. Who wouldn't wanna save money just by paying in advance!

No matter what happens, whether parking lot was full and they don't say so, or whatever shows up, SpotHero is always on the phone ready to fix stuff. What I love about this app, is that great people come with it. I wish more apps would see that in the end product is really about the service. SpotHero I am rooting for you. Thank you, thank you, thank you for being awesome human beings.

I never write reviews. But after the umpteenth amazing customer service calm, I really felt they deserved a review.

This app is second-to-none. If I need to get downtown. In order find a spot, all I need to do is put my destination in and parking comes up. I choose the best deal and a QR code is ready to be used.

Some spots aren't in parking garages, but they have signs posted for you to navigate to your parking.

FYI-Each spot has details that you should read before arriving at your destination. It's always good to prepare!

I'm new to the US, and parking is a real nightmare to me when it comes to name like DC, Chicago, New York, LA. But, thanks to SpotHero, I handle it with much ease and even admiration from friends, and of course, at a much cheaper price than the usual way. But the thing I like the most is spot preservation. I don't wanna spend my traveling time driving around looking for parking. I want to know exactly where I park, even when it takes a little walk to my destination. Time wise, it's better.

Was driving around looking for parking in Chicago and felt lost about where the best place to park at a good price. This App helped find a spot and save with surprising ease. Could identify locations nearby with a map overview with the prices for the your time frame, see detailed info w/ easy instructions, and photos. Being able to use Apple Pay was like icing on the cake bc I didn't have to bother looking for and inputting my credit card info in what is already a stressful situation.

I've tried 'em all, at least the parking apps in Chicago. SpotHero has the most spots and the most competitive pricing. I so often used to dread going into Lincoln Park or some of the other heavily congested areas to meet a friend for dinner, etc., knowing it would take me forever to find a spot. Love booking a spot before I leave or "on the fly" when I get close to my destination. App interface is clear and you can "sort" based on distance or price. It's my go to parking app!

SpotHero is the BEST!! Super easy to use, and saves you a ton of money. They make finding and reserving a spot really easy with pictures of where you'll be parking, info about the space (like if there are in/out privileges, access to your car during certain hours, etc.). On top of all that, your parking ticket/reservation is easy to find and access so no worrying about trying to find a printer! Will definitely be using SpotHero for all my future parking needs!!

The app itself is solid, I’ve rarely had an issue with any aspect on a technical level.

What really gives this app value is the customer support. On a few occasions, I’ve rated a parking spot as sub-standard and had someone from SpotHero follow up with me to address the issue, offer a credit, etc. The ease of use (I will pay for parking before I leave the house some mornings) coupled with great customer service makes me a happy panda.

Spothero has made parking downtown Chicago easy at bargain rates. We purchased season tickets to Broadway in Chicago and easily booked nearby parking for $10-$12 for 8 hrs.
I am still in shock how easy it is to find parking.
Type in where you are going and the bargain options appear instantly.
The process of parking and exiting are equally convenient. We had one incident and that got resolved quickly and efficiently too.

This app has made life so easy. I hate the subways so I drive everywhere. With this app finding parking is a breeze... The only time I incurred a problem is I reserved a spot and the facility didn't have space for my oversized Escalade, I called customer service and it was a breeze. They issued me a refund immediately and gave me a small credit towards future use. I'm still blown away by their service. Flawless!!!

Been using the SpotHero app for two years, and it is by far the best parking lot selector for the Washington DC metro area. I have tried the others, but SpotHero repeatedly saved us REAL money when we had to park in the city for various night performances at theaters and for shopping. I can't recommend it enough. And yes, I actually live here (metro DC). If you can't take metro, this is the next best thing!

This app has been terrific. I use it for parking in Chicago and it works wonderfully, saves SO much money (my parking went from $60 for a day to $8-$15 for the day), and it really it so easy to use and operate. Everyone can be done through the app, including directions to the parking lot/space. I've never rated an app before but this one is so good I felt I had to give it five stars! Thanks SpotHero!

Thanks Spot Hero for a reasonably priced, but slightly difficult to find parking space only a few blocks from Lincoln Hall. I had a little trouble figuring out the exact location of the space (it was in an alley, and it had a motion-detector spotlight on it), but it was well worth the extra seconds it took to find the space. Thanks! I'll be using Spot Hero again for my next trip into the city!!

I use this app at least several times a month for parking in Chicago. I have to drive in for work. No convenient trains. Parking is easy to find near where I'm going. The deal I get is consistently a lower price than the posted rates on the parking garage. If I do have a problem, the Customer Service team is very responsive and helpful! Nothing but good things to say about them!

Had an issue at a location with a scanner that didn't work. Took a ticket to get into the garage, and then called the Spothero help desk. They were very professional, and gave me steps to get the parking attendant to honor the reservation (which worked). Also offered to reimburse my cost difference if that didn't work (but it did). Quick to resolve and great help support!

This app is definitely been a life, and bank account saver!!.. Finding available parking spaces in the SF Bay Area can be at time challenging and very pricey. Since my discovery of this app my parking budget has dropped dramatically. I'm so happy I use it daily. Also knowing in advance that you payed for your spot and the amount for it really takes the stress out.

First time I have ever used this app I made reservation for overnight parking but was unable to get to location before they closed. Called SpotHero and they refunded my money immediately plus gave me credit for the difference between that location and the location I eventually parked in even though it was no fault of their service. Couldn't be happier.
