I've been using Mercari since it launched on the App Store. I stopped using it when they switched from USPS to FedEx only since I didn't have any locations close to me but they recently added an option to choose both! The shipping did increase but the quality of the app is still the same and I always feel safe using mercari. I've had plenty of transactions - purchases and for sale and I've never had a problem. I usually don't write reviews but I thought it definitely deserved one for how often I use it.

This app is really good because you can bug and sell more than just clothes. It's easy to navigate and search for items.
However I do have a few suggestions:

1. Have a "Pay with PayPal" option
2. Lists for single items, tradables, and bundles. And make a way for sellers to easily bundle several pairings together.
3. Verify accounts with trustcloud
4. Being able to put your earned money from your sales towards an item you want to buy on the app.
5. An "ISO" (in search of) tab/option.

Mercari is an amazing application for whenever you need to get rid of your old and unused things for good money. Shipping is extremely easy; mercari prints you shipping labels and you can choose whether or not to charge the buyer for shipping.
Just take a picture of your items, type in the sale price, description, and post. I made $110 off of 2 items a day after I posted them. That's how easy this app is, it also ensures that the buyer and payer are satisfied and a rating is required.

I had this app for a while... I got my bf iphone for a great price an it was just as it was seen in the photo he loves it.. I also bought a few this my self.. I tell all my friends about it.. The only thing I wish they would add to this app is a search option... Some time u be looking for something an can't find it... So it would be nice if u could snap a pic of what UR looking for post it an others could let u know if that have it an for what price... Other than that I love this site

Saw a commercial for this app and have been using it for almost a year already. I get real people when I go to customer service and the majority of people on here are genuine and caring. Used Poshmark for 2 weeks and already got scammed, so I'm sticking to Mercari. I have sold and bought over 100 items and I absolutely love the app. Easy to list and people on here respond fast, usually within a couple of hours which is such a great plus. Can't say enough good things about this app.

So I've been using this app since it was out, never thought to review. This pass week I shipped an item to a buyer and she never received, naturally I thought I had lost both the item and the money that would come from selling the item. Not only did mercari give my buyer her full refund but also gave me the balance I would have made from selling the item without any problems. So impressed with their customer service!! Love this app and will continue using over other selling apps!

Okay so this app is pretty much amazing! And the bad ratings on here for "some" of the things are not even that big of a deal and do not compare to all the upside this app brings! I 100% recommend over poshmark! Mercari doesn't charge commission and if they do it thru shipping, who cares it's so cheap! They have ALL categories for selling stuff, so I can sell my husbands things along with toys, games, and home stuff, electronics +more! Deff 5 stars.... I'm a little obsessed haha

I've bought and sold from this app and I have to say I've never encountered any problems! Looking at most of the bad reviews, I realize that that didn't read Mercari's terms. The best part about Mercari is they DO NOT take money from your account nor do they pay you until a rating has been received from both the buyer and the seller! The only thing I'd suggest to Mercari is having the capability to share more than four photos with buyers; otherwise, a wonderful app all around!

I absolutely adore this app, it's secure and some people are so nice on here. I understand some people can be rude but if there's no reason to be rude they won't. They will sometimes change the price to better fit your needs and some do free shipping! I usually just buy items I'm not much of a seller but most people look like they're making money. Some items are new and some are used but great items if you really look at them! I will continue to use this app for a long time!

I'm in love with this app! I love shopping and selling from the huge data base of items for sale. I worried this app would be like ebay or something, where they always charge a fee from your total sales. To me thats not cool and thats why this app rocks!! It's so easy to use, design and organization is clear. Shipping fees are not so bad and all earnings from a sale, I get to keep. Buying on here is so much fun and addicting. (TAFUFF) Totally a faithful user for life! ;-)

This is a great app! I love the no commission fee so that you get every penny you sell your items for!
They make it so easy to buy and sell too.
I used Vinted for a year and I've made more sales in a week on Mercari than I ever did on Vinted.
I just wish there was a way to search specific users but everything else is good! Customer service responded quickly when I had an issue and helped me in a day!
I highly recommend this app for selling item over ANY other app!

This app is officially my favorite app for buying and selling. They take no percentage from your profit and you can find the cutest name brand clothes, brand new for half the price! So glad I found this. Buyers pay when they receive their product, and sellers receive pay when the buyer rates them. Only issue is that sometimes buyers don't rate and you have to wait a few days for Mercari to do it for them so it takes longer to get paid. Otherwise, it's amazing!

I used to be skeptical of websites like mercari for fear of getting scammed but I've used for a month now and I feel lucky to have found it. I rarely write reviews for things but this is truly a quality app where you can find the best bargains over any other place online. I haven't had any experience with customer service or the returns process so I cant speak on that but as far as the transactional and functionality parts of the app go I am beyond satisfied.

It has a bad side .. And that's when you have a problem the technical support takes for ever to respond but other than that it's so easy to sell and buy things . I have had a bad buyer and got the item returned for no reason but it's ok I sold it a couple days after . The website is super easy to find what you are looking for and easy to talk to other sellers . Thank you mercari for helping me get rid of so much junk in my house and making me some money

I sold my iPod the first week I joined mercari and got my money real quick mercari is amazing people say "Don't trust this app scam" it's not mercari will refund you if you didn't receive your item or its not describe as it was in the listing. You have to be careful from who you buy on sometimes depending on what type of items you are gonna buy such as shoes "Fake Jordan's" lol. I've bought a lot of items from mercari and just starting to sell, Check me out!

I use them all. Vinted, posh, geek, wish, and mercari. Mercari is great because it allows all manners of items and you can find them from US sellers if your in the US. I just made my first purchase today. It's a great place to find great deals on name brand, high end, cosmetics. If you're a makeup junkie like I am. Tons of sample sized items to purchase so I can try before I spend the money on the biggies. I love this app, and peruse it several times a day!

I've been a long time seller on eBay and recently posh mart. I've had more sales for last three consecutive months on Merc than my eBay and poshmart combined. This Comoany is going viral and has a high potential to beat eBay in customers and sellers within a year or two. Many of my seller friends have completely moved all their business over from eBay . Just a few upgrades to platform. This company "now" has huge opportunity for both buyers and sellers !

I have been using mercari for about 2 weeks now and I have NO complaints. I've made almost $500 total for selling stuff I don't use anymore. (And this is in just 2 weeks!) I love the direct deposit option, works for me every week! Mercari has it together..anyone who doubts are just upset because of one scam. Scammers are on every buy and sell app, so don't blame this app for your problems. Love this app. Thanks mercari for getting me through college!!!!(:

I feel ashamed to admit how much stuff I've already bought from here and I haven't even had the app for a month. It is so easy to get amazing deals on makeup (I haven't bought anything else). I have saved so much compared to buying them in store and all of the sellers I have talked to have been incredibly nice. One seller even put a handwritten note and free little gift with her packaging. These are real people selling their items to you, I love it.

I love this app a lot. I use it all the time as a buyer and a seller. I think it is awesome that they don't charge a selling fee or commission. It makes selling easy and profitable. The only thing that I think you should be able to do is be able to delete listings once they are completed. I am a little OCD and it bothers me how cluttered my profile is with items that have already sold and are still available. I would really like that to become an option.
