I've tried multiple buy & sell sites & none have come close to Mercari. I've made $100+ on this app & I've been 110% satisfied with all of my purchases, I'm completely addicted! This is by far the best app out there for buying & selling. It's nearly impossible to scam & most people are honest & nice! Pros- Great prices, easy to communicate with buyers & sellers, easy way to make money, Mercari will make sure you don't get scammed, etc. Cons- Getting ahold of customer service can take days, but when they do get around to helping you, they solve the problem to the best of their ability.

I love this app. First, there is no fee to sell, unlike other similar platforms e.g. Poshmark. 2nd, seller chooses who pays for shipping and the amount ($4/$6/$9..etc). 3rd, can sell/buy almost anything! 4th, mercari has fixed every issue/payment/refund/return shipping label whatever the issue at hand, THEY HAVE FIXED IT!!
Please people, grow some patience! It might take up to 4days for mercari to finish/fix the transaction. The Mercari team has to be busy, handling thousands of issues daily. They are honest, trustworthy, dependable, and enjoyable to do business with.

I love this little app! It's great to buy and sell with very little hassle. The team gets back to you with support questions whenever you have them and really tries to keep the app running according to the rules the best they can.

I only have two gripes. One, sometimes the app crashes for no reason. Two, Apple pay was supported and then suddenly stopped working after the most recent update. I can still pay other ways, but Apple pay will forever be my number one choice and this has slowed down my buying significantly. Other than this, highly recommend this little app!

Love this app, but there is just one thing that I find annoying. I hate when you see all these sold things mixed in with the stuff for sale on people's pages. It's okay to search and filter them out but when I look at my own listing from a customer's point of view I thing its the end when I only looked at 10 items. I would like to be able to change a setting or be able to filter out the sold items on people's pages. I know after like 30 days you can take them off but 30 days is too long. It just junks up the pages. Please fix this, no one wants to look at sold items.

First time I felt horrible bought something and they seller stopped responding. I waited to cancel the order and messages the system. They worked with me!! I got my refund back. It's a great app to sell but their is some counterfeit items that some people will try to sell. So far every transaction has been smooth. Direct deposit does take long but I have yet to be charged for those funds. Try it out but beware of what you would want. I buy stuff less than 15$ just for my safety. So I don't feel bad that I spend so much money on something totally not worth spending.

I love this app, my kids love this app. I will never do EBay again after finding this app, better products,better prices, cheaper shipping, friendlier sellers, can't wait to start selling myself. Only problem is it's so much better I find myself buying more , LOL. Couldn't find these items on eBay even close to as cheap as Mercari. Plus their brand new. EBay wants almost double for used. Plus they give you money for signing up, and referring friends, my friends are addicted too now that I've referred them. If you haven't tried it, you are missing out big time.

The first time I purchased something on here, the seller was horrible. It took weeks to get my item. They wanted to save a few dollars by taking the cheap way out of mailing it out, instead of handling it the way they were supposed too. I didn't bother using this app after that, until a few months ago. Ever since my second purchase, I have dealt with the most awesome sellers! They communicated with me, shipped the items out next day (some same day!) and every transaction was smooth and I was very satisfied. I will definitely continue using this app for sure!

I really like Mercari and appreciate an app that doesn't take out any fees. However it does have a lot of problems that are adding up to making it not such a great app. Like mentioned MANY times here their customer service is a robot who sits there and sends robo answers that have nothing to do with your question or plea for help. They threaten to delete your account for goofy and erroneous reasons that leave you wondering what the heck is going on. Mercari has lots of plusses but just as many problems. It's a toss up as for recommending it or not.

The only problem is you can't sign in or off like vinted and poshmark and on those you can do it on a laptop too and not this one. Also, waiting till Monday for the direct deposit to be process . And they take long to reply back to any issues you are having. They banned you for swapping which I get it but it's not like we do it people ask and get we get banned for it. If you have an issue with a seller not sending you the item and want your money back they take so long to reply and wen they do they want proof. How will there be proof? Lol uh

I was skeptical about this app at first because I didn't like how you couldn't receive the money after the customer purchased but now that I use it and spent well over 200 bucks on two pairs of shoes I am very pleased with this app and you just have to look for the right people to buy/sell too because anybody can be scammers. But this app has a lot of good deals/steals the shoes I paid for are worth a lot more then what I paid for and they look new still. Thanks so much for this app because of you I got a good deal/steals thanks so much!!!

While I was skeptical at first, this is a really great useful app! I have bought and sold many things on here with no problem. I was skeptical at first but I really am glad I tried it out! And they don't take out a fee for using the app so it makes it even better! And as for all the people giving it 1 star I'm not sure why unless they were doing something against the rules.... Just saying. There customer service does take a while to respond but they have helped with every issue I've had. I definitely recommend this app! Just try it out!

I really LOVE Mercari! I have used it for several months and have had only great success! I had to return one item and was provided great customer service and a free shipping label. Mercari doesn't take a percentage of your sale, so all you make, you get to keep, that is unless you offer free shipping! I have noticed some buyers low balling you on your prices, but of course it's your decision how much to lower prices, if at all! So far everyone has been polite and respectful. I will continue using Mercari, as a satisfied seller & buyer!

This app is great. It's functional and easy to use. I'm able to find almost anything I could ever want for really great prices. I wish that there was a way to push your listing to the top because unless someone is looking specifically for an item, once it's listed it is kind of hard for it to be found. I also wish money I make in sales could be used as a credit towards buying items on the site instead of money having to come from my bank account. But overall, it is great. I've made some awesome sales and I just made my first purchase!!!

This app is great! I've been using it for around a year. The staff at Mercari are great at helping you with any questions, comments or concerns you might have, wether you're a seller or buyer. I love using Mercari because you can reach different people in every part of the U.S. They usually take around a day to three days in responding due to so many people using this great app, but they are fair, helpful, and always do what is right when helping you out. Great app and I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to buy or sell things.

Extremely happy with this app!!! I purchased a ring that said it would take 2-3 for delivery and 11 days had passed and never received anything. The tracking number was just "1234" and I stayed in contacted with the seller and they kept apologizing and asking me to please give it another few days. So I did but then I got fed up and messaged the Help Center, not only did they respond quickly but I was refunded immediately as well. That is wonderful customer service, I did not have to wait to hear back from Mercari. Thank you so much!!!!

I love how you have it set up - it's pretty easy to navigate. I just bought and rec'd my item, and I am liking how this process works....as a buyer. I have not put anything up for sale yet, however the gal that I bought from, it sounded like she was not able to ship with whoever she wanted to use. She shipped fedex and if it were me, I would've used USPS. So not sure if you get pigeon-holed on your shipping options, but I really hope not. Will be setting up some sales soon to find out. Still - easier than eBay, if oversimplified.

I have been using the app for around two months now and have had no issues, besides other users being rude. Customer service has been excellent for me and are extremely helpful. Everyone who has been scammed is probably new to selling apps; I personally know the red flags and how to avoid scam buyers/sellers. There are plenty of genuine people there, you just have to read their account reviews. Don't do business with blank, anonymous accounts! Use common sense, no need to blame the entire Mercari staff for your issues.

Sell your items for free. I have been using this app for a couple of months and I love it! You just have to be patient when you need their support, it won't work if you're one to call over the phone to get help. I msg them when I have question or issue and the response time is not bad at all. I have been cleaning out my closet and I have been selling items I would've normally given away so its a win win for me. I do recommend this app! I have convinced family and friends to sell here too! I got $2 credit every time!

I'm honestly obsessed with this app. I've been using it for at least a week and I'm already in love. I've sold 2 (3 total) things within the first day of using it and made my first 2 purchases a few days ago and I am already bought by this app. Everyone complains about not getting money right away but if you're a buyer AND a seller, you'll understand why it's important. What if you're buying and the person selling is a scammer? Instead of not knowing, you'll know! I just love it. Recommending to everyone I know.

Made over $700 in the last five or six months by selling common items that people are interested in buying. Things I don't use anymore can be turned into profit. I mostly use my money made off items to buy other items. That way I don't have to link an account. However I have made about $250 of deposits and takes about a week to hit my account balance. Great app. Some people are better to deal with them others, however I have never gotten a bad item. Great way to earn cash on the stuff you don't use anymore!
