It is about time that TD Bank got with the program and updated their app. It is MUCH, MUCH better. Gone are the huge pixelated screens. Finally we get the clean HD look. Well, I don't really have much to say except that, you know, it's cool that us TD Bank users now also have a normal app like all the other banks. You guys were the last in the race. Do you really compliment someone for last place? Then again, better late than never. I've only used it for a day and so far no issues. Does anyone actually read these reviews ? I'm just making mine as long as possible so I can be the top review. I heard that the longer the review, the higher the chance of it being at the top. In which case this should take the cake. You can stop reading now. You should've stopped a while ago. I've just been jabbering along. Well if you stuck it out this far, goodbye and so long and I hope you find something better to do with your day than reading reviews on the App Store for a bank app... Toodles.

Remember your online banking website from the turn of the century? It's back but now known as the TD Bank app.

The classic retro design is functional yet primitive with a UI that sets it apart from the contemporary works of Chase and BofA. I'm giving it five stars for its distinctive retro design.

It also doubles as a conversation starter at dinner parties and awkward dates. "Have you seen this cool retro app?"

No doubt supplies are limited. Grab your copy today and for heavens sake don't update it. You might find yourself leaping ahead to 2008!

What an improvement! I think some of the 3-4 star reviews are simply from people who haven't navigated the app thoroughly! You CAN see check images - just click on where it says "check #111" .. Also, you CAN see what's pending. It's the yellowed area that clearly says "Pending" .. You can see they worked hard on this app and a 5 star is very well-deserved. I do agree with another reviewer who suggested push notifications for things such as direct deposit, withdrawals and/or deposits. But this app has everything necessary for mobile banking on the go! LOVE the ability to schedule transfers !!

Though many find the app to be boring & too simplistic, the app itself is just fine. It works well, everything loads in a timely manner, & I especially like the ease for using it. My favorite feature is the ability to transfer money from one account to another; it does it instantly so if you're ever in a bind, you just have to click a few buttons on your phone & you can move funds from savings to checking or whatever. It could definitely stand to be "sexier" but I don't feel it's good qualities should be overlooked because of it.

Great app. Easy to use and very useful. Practical and well organized functions. Very stable, never crashed in me. Mobile deposit seems to work better now than when first introduced. I use it almost all the time now instead of td full website.

Wish list:

Please add a check memo field to billpay like the desktop billpay so I can notate my payments.

Add access to retrieve billpay history by payee like desktop.

Add check view feature to account history, especially for billpay checks.

Not sure what other people want from an app from a regional bank. I love TD because being s New Yorker I'm always rushed for time and they have the best hrs and friendliest service of all banks I've had. I downloaded this app just to check balances on the fly and transfer funds, does the job on both tasks. Takes 30 seconds to log in and out. Clean quick and easy, anything more and I'd go into a branch.

The TD Bank app has finally been redesigned, ditching the old format (which was just a wrapper for the mobile site) for something modern and completely native.

Speed has increased exponentially and the TouchID login is very much appreciated. Navigation is now clear and information is presented in a very clean and straightforward manner.

This overhaul was long overdue, but worth the wait.

UPDATE: they fixed everything everyone asked for. Good job. When you use your smartphone you see well designed apps and "nice" apps. This is not one. Looks like an app from when I had my iPhone touch. Keyboard layout is even out of date. As large of a bank as this should be more concerned with their internet presence. Blah

Makes online/mobile banking a breeze! I love being able to see my balance, transfer funds, make payments and deposits via my phone on the go. The mobile deposit keeps me from having to go to the bank, I love it! I hope they add a lost/stolen card feature online too, being able to do that instantly would be a nice feature.

Just installed. Deposited 4 checks and it worked fine. Could immediately see the checks in pending transactions and could see the current balance of all accounts. No problems noted by other users. Resolution looks fine on my 5c. No frills app that just does what it says ... Like TD bank itself. Consider me happy.

Updated Review: Thank you TD Bank you have listened to all of us It's really nice to be able to use Touch ID to get into the app instead of always typing in the password. Also I like how you can deposit a check by taking a picture on here that's very convenient. Nice changes!

Love using TD bank app. It's just simple and user friendly. However, it would be awesome, if we could use Touch ID, one of the best iOS features. It's annoying to type the password every time when we have to check our bank transactions. Why not utilize what we have got?

If you people want the app because it looks pretty then you're idiots. I love the app for it convenience, accessibility and security. That's all I need. Nothing fancy just a way for my money to transfer when I'm almost about to overdraft

I never write reviews for apps, but this one deserves one. The update completely made the UI 100x better, and now I can completely recommend using the app for your daily banking needs. I'm glad that the new features were finally added.

I see a lot of reviews that aren't good all because of support and the fact that is hasn't been updated.
This app works and that's all that matters. It works on my iPhone 6 and if It ain't broke don't fix it. And it isn't broke

This app makes it easy to deposit checks and check balances. Not a fancy app but who has time for all the fancy distracting stuff anyway? All I need to do is quick banking from my phone and this works fine each time.

This application used to work wonderful! But ever since last update or since I got my new iPhone six it won't let me deposit checks!! Never mind works great again. Deleted n reinstalled it

There's nothing like having the power to pay bills and view your account on the go. Eventually real life banks will not exist and everything will be done via internet. Get used to it.

Again; it's a bank app that does what it's supposed too without being a pain. No idea why people are saying its not good enough - if that's the case use the website and shut up

It does the simple things and that's what I need it for. I can deposit checks. Transfer funds and also check on balances. It's just an app and it works.
