Had this app since my Blackberry, so you do the math. It keeps getting better and better with its features. For someone who for lack of other reading material, started reading the dictionary and couldn't stop until the end , it's an app I use several times a day. I also love the Word Dynamo app for review and discovery.

I can't find a fault with its operation or interface. I used and loved the free app so much that I was willing to pay for more features.
I'd like to see a 'back' button added to return to the previous screen. I often find another word to explore within a search, but then I have to re-enter the first word to get back.

With so much information scrolling across my screen everyday I'm consistently seeing new words that stump me or old ones I've forgotten. Dictionary app is there for me. It's easy to navigate, simple to use and every option is just a tap or flick away. I've never had problems with it crashing or freezing. Five stars.

I absolutely love this app! There is always something interesting to learn even after I have had my "word of the day." It has become addictive in that I find myself reading all the previous words to see if I can remember their meaning! I also love the ability to punch the "sound" button to have the word pronounced.

Love getting word of the day. I've had this APP for several years now. I did pay extra to upgrade. I use it everyday. I'm a writer and a little nuts having to spell everything correctly. Also, I love learning new words. I highly recommend this APP and pay the few bucks more. The brain is worth constantly expanding

I believe if I could only have 10 apps on my cell, this would be one of the foremost of importance, certainly is one of the most often used, lol, I'm ALWAYS double-checking my spelling, as I have several words I habitually misspell, & the other apps that they offer are equally AwEsOmE! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 ;)

There's no question, this connecting instantly with the words usage, origin, definition..all the premium features, is an absolute must for me.

I am always toggling back a forth between Dictionary and emails, communication of all sorts.

5 Stars because this app is vital in that accuracy in king.

Since I purchased this app, I've been using it when I write to double-check my spelling and make sure I'm using the word in the correct context. I have the complete version so I also use the antonyms and synonyms for certain words.

Probably the best purchase I ever made for my apple products.

I've used this app for several years. Its had its ups and downs but it's gotten so much better. This app has never let me down. I taught Life Skills and also taught my students to use this. They always enjoyed using my iPhone and iPad to look up many of their words.

English is not my native language; so, often I come across some words that are either new to me or not clearly understood. Dictionary app makes it extremely easy to understand those words through definitions, synonyms, and examples. I really like the app and recommend it to everyone.

I've actually purchased the Premium version with all upgrades three times for the devices in our family. As Tina Turner sings it, "You're simply the best. Better than all the rest." As a language nerd, I've tried more dictionary apps than any other kind and this is all you need.

I've tried many dictionary applications... This one is by far the best among them; but the this population sets the bar pretty low. That said, given the low cost - this is really very good. Its comprehensive and the thesaurus is a great feature the developers have integrated well.

Rarely do I have to use any other resource for spelling and pronunciation. The number and types of words are mind boggling. I've handed this app some doozies, and 99.5% of the time, it's there. Thesaurus and other tools are right there too. Easy, intuitive navigation. Bravo-Zulu!

I'm an author. I've used this app for several years. It always delivers and is far more versatile than Apple's built in dictionary. I particularly like the options of easily switching between thesaurus and definitions. Please, please, please, make it work on my Mac air.

Love the app. I've had no problems. The definition,
synonym or origin of a word is at your finger tips. The App is handy if you need a quick definition for crossword puzzles, playing games, or writing a paper. I will definitely upgrade because it is worth the money.

I use this all the time. It's never been easier to build my vocab, check my grammar, and improve my sermon writing! I also regularly point my kids to this app when they have English questions, so they establish a pattern of using it, and increase their English skills.

This program does much more than define words. It also gives synonyms, antonyms, word origins, and other uses of the words. I love the "word of the day" feature. A great program to have at the ready right here on my phone when I need it or want to learn something new.

Love the upgraded version; word od the day, as a poet- I love the convenience of saving my favorites right in app. Also that besides the thesaurus and dictionary there are not so many new tabs and articles to learn and have fun with words and build our vocabulary!

This by far my favorite dictionary app. It helps me when I'm writing reviews at work. The the thesaurus is very helpful to. Overall I'd recommend this app to anyone that needs a pocket dictionary and thesaurus in their hand. Well done. Well done.

This app is one of the most used apps on my phone. And I love the Word of the Day feature. The paid version is well worth the money because of all the extra features. And the free version is one of the best dictionary apps available. A valuable writing tool!
