Fantastic app for any sports fan. It has all of the standard features you look for (automatic score updates, team favorites, etc) but it's the aggregation of stories related to your teams from across the web that really sets it apart. I get automated feeds from the local newspapers, national newspapers, ESPN, BleacherReport and more. It's a one stop shop each day for all the content I want about my favorite team.

I've changed my review from a 1 back to a 5 star! The update fixed ALL of the problems that I was having, including the crash issue when you try to access the app after having it running in the background. Also, another great fix is having the "games list" not resetting to the top after entering the game preview/score page. This is great for college football and college basketball since there are so many games!

I have been using the Yahoo app for many years. While occasionally it has some burps when there are updates it's the most reliable way of getting the scores that I want to see without waiting through a lot of ads and stuff that I'm not interested in. I can immediately drill down to get more information about a game or standings. While it doesn't have the bells and whistles of ESPN it meets my needs perfectly.

Slick Ipad version of sportacular I use on my Itouch. The keystrokes used to set up favorites and specific teams in the various sports are more confusing than the ones I used in sportacular but will become familiar as I move up the learning curve. I do not use facebook or Twitter but scores are recorded faster than ESPN's Score Center. Sportacular and Yahoo! Sports has replaced them on my devices. Thank you

My Picks Tracker do not transfer between iPhone and iPad and certain weeks the picks do not show up (no picks) when you have made pick. Pre season should not count for pick history. At times, Pick Tracker do not show up on history, such as, you do NFL wk 1 picks and then go to History, it shows NO Picks, but you go back to ensue your did the picks and it shows you did picks but does not show on history.

Simple, and no BS design and layout. Has all the sports including college with all the conferences. Detailed stat pages show individual stats as well as season averages. There are a few bugs here and there as sometimes it doesn't show the 3pt makes/attempts column sometimes but overall a great app with no ads and everything you will ever need. Been using this over CBS, ESPN, and the Score for years now.

Used to use ESPN, 'cause you, "worldwide leader" and such. Downloaded this on a whim because I got a new phone. Absolutely love it. More friendly interface, solid notifications (only the MOST important news, unless you want updates on your teams). The way you can individually track players is super neat and something I couldn't figure out on the ESPN app. Overall, this is my favorite. Thanks, Yahoo!!

Great all around general sports App. I have several sports Apps on my phone as each used to have different features that were best suited for certain aspects of sports info. I now find myself almost exclusively viewing this App for all my sports info. My only wish is that it would continue to show the line after a game was started or complete and not just before the start. But that is minor.

Love this app. I was able to mock draft from every position. And when it came time to draft for real, I knew who I wanted to pick. The only thing that I did not not like was the after draft analysts. One of the teams in our ten team league was forced to "auto pick" and wound up getting the best draft grade. lol . So the Computor selected the team that it drafted as the best draft. Lol.

This is my favorite sports app for my iPhone. I have MANY sports apps on my phone but this is the best. I love the alerts and updates for my favorite teams. They also provide statistics, rosters and standings for all the teams they cover. Another plus is that it tells you the tv network covering the game and provides informative articles as well as the line for each game. I LOVE this app!

Well-organized, user-friendly app. It's easy to find scores and read articles about different sports and leagues. The Trending section is also handy for finding fresh articles. I like reading game stories from college football games when I go to the game's scoring details, and being able to search for scores within a conference or league. Also, it is easy to add other sports to follow.

I find this app much more straightforward than the ESPN app. I can usually find what I'm looking for pretty easily, even scores for obscure college teams. And they've added more sports--and teams--over time.

Update: Still my go-to app. In fact, my ESPN-oriented husband recently discover how easy it was to find team scores on this app. Now he tends to check Yahoo sports first. :)

It’s impossible to stop the flow general news, team news, and news by sport notifications. I’ve turned them all off in the settings, yet they continue coming. A fix would be truly appreciated. I’ve been using this app since I bought Sportacular way back when, and other than the notification issue it’s a great app. I do wish there was still an ad free version available.

When I'm having to work or do multiple other tasks, I can count on my Yahoo Sports App to deliver news updates, updates on scores, notifications on games starting and much more. It's amazingly fast at updating scores almost to the second. The ability to personalize the settings is also a big plus so I can know about my favorite pro and college teams. You definitely want this app.

Learned about Sportacular from a sports fiend co-worker. So, I downloaded it and started using it. Now, I'm hooked. It's simple, fast and easy to use. Just gimme the score or the stat and I want it pronto. Sportacular works for me - Big Time! I follow multiple leagues so easily: MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, Premier League. It's all there - and more. It's my Go To app for sports. Period.

Love this app! Shows me everything I need to know! It is well laid out and easy to use! I prefer this app over the computer version! It did go down for a while this last weekend and I realized how good it really is when I tried to find something else! It would be nice if you could set fantasy alerts for the players of your choosing! Hint...Hint...

Favorite iOS sports app. Years ago had the generic ESPN score center app, but once they revamped it to the SportsCenter app I refused to have something ESPN-related on my device given how awful the four-lettered network has become. Yahoo! is better at reporting news and also has better sports app than "world wide leader in sports." I recommend the Yahoo! Sports app to all.

I've been running various versions this app, since my iPhone3. It was always a good stable & well designed app. But the most recent versions are really quite slick on the iPhone 6s. Navigation within the flows intuitively. ... Give a test drive and check it out. The Yahoo sports app, is much superior to the Yahoo Finance app, which was so bad I had to give it the boot!

Best app for sport!!! My only complaint is a few years back I paid for this app to not have any advertisements. And now that one doesn't work properly. So I have to use the free one. You would think they would have to give your money back when they decide to only update the free one. But after awhile of having the free one I decided to delete the one I paid for.

I have used this since my iPhone 3G in 2007. Loved it the whole time because of the simple features remaining the same. Not cluttered like ESPN or other sports apps I have used. I also like the team pickem. It is interesting to see the way we bias teams, geographically. I highly recommend this app, and setup the alerts and your favorite teams. Excellent for that.
