This is the best sports app available, no matter what sport you want to follow, college or pro! I love this app and use it all the time to keep up with schedules, scores and standings for NFL & NCAA football and PGA golf. I also use it to get the same info for NCAA & NBA basketball. The app also keeps you up to date on injuries, coaching changes, and so much more. Would highly recommend it to anyone who follows any sport. This may be the best app on my ipad and iPhone. I use it all the time.

I love how organized the app is. I love how fast it downloads and you don't have to wait. I would like to see an improvement on top stories. I get one story to pop up once every week. Lots of sports stuff happens everyday, I would like more notifications. Upsets, perfect games, trades, signings and any other important news should come up more often than one story. For example I got a notification Argentina won in penalty kicks but no notification Germany won. It's random and not helpful.

I've been using yahoo sports for nearly 3 years, it's had its up and downs the app wasn't that perfectly designed, goes back to the top of the page everything you come out from the game detail and stats and stuff, crashes sometimes, but overall yahoo sports has the best and biggest player library and provides every detail stuff such as players full name, date of birth, and draft class. I love this app certainly would recommend it to people over the current ESPN app, thanks yahoo.

It was a few years ago that I discovered this app. Originally it was great for getting scores of major sports. Over the years they have continued to add sports and leagues to the coverage and I appreciate that.
They have also continued to add content. Most is great. Some useless. (Do we really need those loops in baseball).
Scores are always up to the minute. Still the best overall sports app around.
2015 update: still the first place I go to check scores, stats and stories.

I never write reviews about apps but this is honestly behind a couple of social media apps my favorite app

I don't know why I never thought to get an app with all the sports in one place. I used to have separate apps for nhl, mlb, and nba. I tried out the score and didn't like it as much as yahoo sports. The app looks sleek and operates great. I haven't had any crashes nor do ads cover anything in the app. The ads are quite conspicuous for me. Awesome awesome app, keep it up yahoo! I wish I could use a different email to sign up though, but I may just make a new yahoo account.

This app has allowed me to stay informed with my teams and what is going on in the contest whether I am in the car, out of the area or just cannot get reception. In between breaks I can catch up on stats and how other teams are performing. And the sweetest part of it is it covers most every sport and every team that it works for everyone. You will not go wrong by adding this app to your device. If you are considering it, do it now and you will not be disappointed.

Quite simply the greatest sports app ever we've ever seen. Absolute must have for any sports fan. It will immediately become one of your most frequently used apps. An amazing tool for stats and standings, news and info, and user friendly account personalization. Some cool interactive features include a picks tracker, which records who you picked to win each game, keeps track, and ranks you against all other Yahoo Sports users for each individual sport. It is THE best and only sports app I depend on to give me updates on baseball, football , hockey, ! I am a sports fenatic since I first went to a Dodgers game and saw sandy Koufax and don drysdale pitch. I depend on this app since I cannot watch Dodgers thanx to time warner ! Please keep up great work.! My son told me about yahoo sports and I am so glad he did 3 yrs ago.. Get alerts each game. Thanku thank u thank you! Ps I am a woman who loves her sports.!!!!

I see quite a lot of bad reviews by people who most likely use features that I don't or maybe it's certain devices. For me, it's great. I really like how easily it gives me scores, schedules, and news in an easy to read and rather nice looking format. It's never crashed on me, but maybe I don't use enough of it to know. I don't use notifications for this app and maybe there's problems there. But for me, it is my go to app for sports during the football season.

Despite my lack of company in this life, the yahoo sports app is always there for me. I've tried branching out for other trends and traditions like phoning strangers to pillow talk about my favorite teams, or even breaking and entering if I think they're watching the right game. Still, nothing has appeased my level of interest quite like this app. Thank you, YS, for never failing to be there. You are like downloading a pot of gold. You are... My best friend.

I really like the Yahoo Sports App. It allows me to select the teams I'm interested in so they're always at the top -- I don't need to sort through a long list of scores to find the ones I'm interested in. I can also select the notifications I get for my teams. I've selected when games start and the final score. I do get some general sports notifications as well, but not an obnoxious amount. It also seems pretty fast. So far, it's been a great app.

Thanks for developing an outstanding easy to use App. Yahoo Sports makes being a fan at any level easy. I follow multiple teams in all different sports and can get there in seconds. The only improvement that I think could be improved is the rosters. I would
Like to see the roster have an option to sort by position and who is active, on the 40 man roster, or on the disabled list. Thanks again for providing an outstanding sports app second to none.

This is the best app of its genre. Fast, updates near realtime, clean & pleasant interface. I love that it even gives the point spread for upcoming games.

It's a shame the point spread and over/under don't show up on the front tableview with the scores when the game is in progress -- I think they could be put in without cluttering the table cell (they are available in the detail page). This is a small detail in an otherwise excellent app.

This is the best sports app out there. However I do have one complaint that I would like to see fixed. In college football, when you view a team or a game and it gives you the stats such as points per game, those stats include teams from FCS or when viewing FCS teams it includes FBS teams' stats. They are not in the same league and therefore should not be included in each other's statistics. Thanks for making this the best sports app out there.

I have tried them all (at least all the ones that cost less than $5) and this has been my hands-down favorite since way back in the day when it was a non-yahoo Sportacular. I love that it gives me just what I want to see, quickly and easily without having to work through stuff. I haven't upgraded to OS 8 though and based on the recent reviews, I'm scared I'm not going to love this app as much as I do now. Yahoo -- please leave perfection alone!

I use this site daily to catch up on Oregon State players and their teams. I particular enjoy the personal alerts for INNING END and SCORE CHANGE. It is convenient to see the status of all current games on one screen as well being able to access individual games, the current offensive performance of individual players (in STATS), and each play of the game (PLAYS). Also able access a brief history of each player. I appreciate this APP. Thanks.

Whether I want game summaries, the latest news, or data for every sport I enjoy, I can get to it easily in Yahoo Sports. I don't have to worry about interesting articles only available for an extra cost like I do on ESPN. I like reading unbiased journalism as I find at Yahoo. Other sites such as MMQB are more biased than I would like. All of this is why I go to Yahoo Sports as my first stop when pursuing sports information and news.

Not a lot of bells and whistles — just an accurate and very near real time reporting of who's playing whom, who beat whom, and who ranks where in the standings. Enough news to satisfy my need to know and customizable enough that I don't have to wade through a load of rubbish to find out what I want. Just wish the cricket coverage were more comprehensive but understand that most people here in the States don't give a hoot about that.

I really like the focused information that I get from this app. I am avid about a few sports and am glad not to have to sift through general headlines containing information that is junk to me. Inside each sport I enjoy realtime game info, extensive stats, articles, and scheduling info. And I really love that I don't have to bother signing in every time I launch unlike some other apps who's distributors shall remain nameless.
