This is the first sports app that I downloaded back in 2009. I have downloaded many others, but this is the one I use most. Extremely easy to navigate with multiple ways to reach your destination. Extremely intuitive and news updates show up in a timely manner. This app is the "jack of all trades." So, if you follow multiple sports, this is a great app for you.

I personally feel that Yahoo has made tremendous strides in their Fantasy Sports apps over the last 24 months. Every change has significantly improved the overall experience. Few bugs ever make to a production release. Yahoo Sports and Yahoo Fantasy are my two go-to apps for in season/game updates. And I love the dry wit in the release notes. Well done team.

I utilize this app for my NFL games. More recently, I have been able to keep up with all my World Cup teams. Then there's Golf!
Everything from scores to what's happening in a given game. Good news updates, too. All the sports you are interested in. You can pick who you think will win, too. Get this app and keep up with your teams and players.

I love how I simply set my favorite teams and also what notifications I will see for each team. Alerts pop-up per your settings for score/inning/period/lead change/end of game. Add the Yahoo Sports widget to notification screen and you can easily follow your favorite teams schedules. Lots of teams and leagues from around the world. Not just American sports.

This app is, in my opinion, the best sports out there. Yep, better even than ESPN. It's simple, easy to navigate, and has an extremely useable calendar which allows me to zip easily from day-to-day events. I often don't want a lot of incidental information, I just want scores and basic facts. Those are quickly and easily attainable. Way to write 'em, Yahoo.

The Yahoo Sports app has become my go-to for all sports. I got tired of all of the weird, poorly-designed features of ESPN. I uninstalled ESPN two years ago and have been using Yahoo Sports without complaint since.

I like that it's very basic, straight-forward, and intuitive (which aligns with much of what having an iPhone and using iOS is all about).

I have an iPhone 5 and I was a zealout for ESPN ScoreCenter, but then I found this app and realized it was 100 times better. It loads so much faster and runs smoother and I love being able to add favorites and choose only the sports scores that I care about. I highly recommend this app for any sports lover and anyone who just wants to keep up with teams.

If you're a sports fan who follows all sports - the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, MLS and everything else, this is the best app out their hands down. I've tried all the others and always deleted them. They don't compare to this app. Do yourself a favor and simplify. One app. for everything sports related - current scores, news, standings, Vegas. Download it now.

My favorite sports app. I use it especially to follow European soccer teams and it does a great job with those. It also gives simple alerts and notifications. I find that the notifications for other apps are cluttered and the team names are abbreviated so that sometimes it's difficult to tell what teams they are. It's also pretty clean and easy to use.

This app is phenomenal and far exceeded my expectations, or the Sportscenter app. Viewing scores and stats for your favorite teams is a breeze and the app is very easy to navigate. Box scores and live scoring are available in real time. I highly recommend this app and give it 5 stars. My favorite sports and scores app and the only one I use anymore!!

I use both this and the espn app(s) Was committed to the espn joints for a long time, but find myself using yahoo more times than not these days. It just feels cleaner and easier to use, and the reporting is solid. Also, with watching sports center daily, its nice to get some other points of view to help balance an opinion. Try it, you'll like it!

Really like this app. I tried others and it was difficult to navigate to the event I was looking for. Would be nice if there was an option to see just my favorite teams for all sports as a view option. Also would be nice if there was an option for college sports to see an option to see all teams rather than having to navigate by conference.

Fantastic app for keeping up with your favorite sport... No matter where I am I know first what is happening....Love being able to make picks on the teams I think will win and see how I match up with others' picks... Really love this app... It makes me fell like I'm always in the middle of all the action when using the notification option...

There's lots to like about this app. Yahoo Sports covers every imaginable sport in a clear, understandable and user friendly manner. I love the Alerts feature that reminds me of starting times and informs me when something significant occurs during the game. The ways to customize the app are many so that I get only the information I want.

I love this app! It's easier to get to all the info I need about my teams than any other app I've used. Everything links to everything. Like other sports apps you can set favorites, alerts, etc. I'm also impressed with the variety of sports available to follow. Try this one; I don't think you'll find any general sports app that is better.

Great app, 5 stars for sure. However, can you add support for international soccer friendlies? And also can you make it so that your favorite teams show up along with all of the other teams as well as on top, instead of just on top? And I also agree with some other reviewers that you should add a multi sport news feed like team stream.

This is a great app that is very easy to use. The best way to keep up today with the scores while looking at your fantasy football pick 'em picks. Only issue is that sometimes a final score is delayed when zero time is left on the clock. Kind of seems like a cliffhanger sometimes.

Has everything on game, stats, player profiles, play by play, pitch by pitch. Great for baseball, football and B-ball. Betting lines as well.

The only sports app I use. The very best.

Would like to see the same functionality in the iPad as on the iPhone: touch on the pitcher and the batter to see their game and lifetime stats.

You want sports and news there is nothing better. Fast and clean looking. Only negative is no college hockey or baseball but not surprised due to its popularity. Get it!!

I think this app is very helpful. It gives live updates on games going on and walkthroughs on games waiting to come. It also shows you what other people vote on to win games. Plus it gives you tons of sports to chose from. It also allows you to select your favorite teams and track them and their season. I recommend this app!
