I only use the credit card portion of this app, but it's really helpful to keep everything in order. Being able to check in and see everything pending or posted. Seeing your balance, minimum payment at a glance and scheduling payments is very convenient and helpful too. You can take care of payments by scheduling them in advance, monthly automatic payments or get reminders without going through the full website or the hassle of paper statements and mailing checks in.

Being able to merge more than one card account to a single log in is a great feature. You can get a snapshot of everything on one page without extra usernames, passwords etc. to keep up with. It's really great to help you keep on top of things and since it's very easy to use, staying organized and on schedule it's a great little too to manage your finances simply and saves you some time.

Although this app could be useful to anyone, I think it would be very helpful for new/first time credit card account holders to help them learn to manage their credit and spending and keep track of payment amounts and due dates. Being able to monitor their credit score with the tracker to learn about that is a great tool too. It's also very beneficial for the same reasons to help those rebuilding their credit just by giving them more ways/tools to manage their account.

Credit cards have always been so predatory. They make the fees so hard to understand and even when you tell them that you want to pay your full balance so you don't activate the interest they have fees that come out sometimes the same day as the due day making it impossible to pay them on time. I'll never forget when I finally figured out how my Yamaha credit card really worked I was so angry and swore I'd never use a credit card again.
Capital one quicksilver is different. It's very clear and easy to understand and comes with this app so you can check your balance it lets you know what you've spent what you've got left and will even alert you if your getting close to your limit. It comes with a credit score checker that helps you understand credit cards even better. For instance did you know that your actually supposed to try not to use more than 10% of your available credit limit? You can also pay your balance or part of it any time right through the app and check your statements and just like it said I got a credit limit increase in just 3 months by only using 10% of my limit and now it's perfect for paying my monthly bills and I earn money back in every purchase BAM! it's just great and very clear. If your going to jump into the dangerous world of credit cards this is the best card to do it with.

I read a few negative reviews & can see where the problem is not with the app it's with the reviewer not understanding how to do what they want. It IS possible to make online deposits by following directions. If there is a problem customer service will gladly be able to help. Customer service has been excellent & that's very important to me. Preferences can be made at the full site & one should not expect to do everything thru the app. My everyday transactions & all the info I need are done thru this awesome app.
I've tried so many banks over the years but haven't since 2007 when I found Capital One & have been a very satisfied customer ever since! The mobile app is certainly the best & so easy to use. I click on the app, sign in with Touch ID & see all info I need & make any translations I like. Couldn't be faster. Banking has been a breeze & I've been a very happy customer for all these years & it just keeps getting better!
If I think there is a problem I would try all options such as restarting my phone or calling customer service before ever considering leaving a negative review. Thank you Capital One for making my banking experience quick & easy.

I can check my pending scheduled payments and transfers, my credit card balance, deposit checks, and see the little memos I put on my transfers in the checkbooks for the checking and savings accounts so it's easy to see I transferred $500 to my checking to cover the withdrawal from car insurance.

They had me switch my account info to a login like the capital one credit card site a few weeks ago maybe single sign on is next on the agenda ;)

And they just sent me a snazzy new debit card to match the 360 logo this week. Forgot to activate it before I left the house. Found out I could activate the card from the app too!

I just wish they had the option to jump to a certain months transactions in the checkbook for each account. If my account has a lot of activity it takes soooo many clicks of the next button to go back 2 months to look at a charge. Not a deal breaker since I don't check that often but would be nice in the event I'm looking for something in particular like proof of payment for a lost ticket.

I can't begin to tell you how much I value Capital One's services. I literally love everything about Capital One Banking. They have shown good faith in me by presenting me with these great financial opportunities, whether that be in rebuilding credit, setting up
interest bearing accounts, investing... In many ways my partnership with Capital One represents a new beginning in my life. I can only hope to repay them by being a loyal customer for years and years to come. I fully intend to make Capital One my primary banking institution within the next few years. I can't believe the level of customer service I've gotten (and 90% of my interaction has been online or self-serve) from Capital One, versus other global banking institutions that I've been with for years- there's no contest. Capital One has done more for me in my life the past year than the other banks have in years. In addition, the app has been the most convenient and secure banking app experience I've ever had. Thank you, Capital One.

I love Capital One! They helped me fix my bad credit. I started with $300 CL on their Quicksilver on April 15, 2015. After a few months, they increased it to $500, then $800. After just 6 months, my new CL is $1,300 already. I applied for their Venture One and they approved me with $3,000 CL. I just got the new card, and started using it. I'm so excited with the Miles I am earning now. If you pay more than the minimum and on time, Capital One will treat you way better than Bank of America and Wells Fargo. Having a good relationship with Capital One, I was also approved with Amex Gold Delta Airlines. I love Venture One though because I can choose any Airlines.

This app is great. I've been using it for 8 months now and the only problem I am encountering is the Touch ID. Sometimes it works but more often than not, it doesn't but it's okei. Not a biggie.

1st of all the people complaining about this app have nothing better to do. 2nd 1 app that does it all seems pretty great to me. Who the heck cares what it looks like internally? Are you going to show off the app and you personal financial info to your friends? Why would you want an app made just for each product when you can can have 1 that does it all? It's not that confusing. You choose whether you want to use the banking feature or credit card. 3 Cap 1 offers more than 1 product and that's good not bad. 4 who wants an app dedicated for banking, credit card, etc? It will just consume space. This way u only need 1 app that does it all. Seems pretty good to me. Some of you don't appreciate simplicity anymore n all you want is for it 2 look good. Who cares about looks when it does the job. You see your bal, you can contact CS, pay bills n more. What else do u morons want?

People forget what it was like w/o apps like this.

I am shocked at how many Capital One customers are complaining about the App most of the complaints are either on a missing feature or their lack of knowledge of the app itself. This app allows you to see all your accounts at a glance and once you select each individual account you will be able to see your payment due date, your balance, recent transactions, just like you were able to each of the previous apps. As far as transfers are concerned, i'm not sure if you can still note them since I don't use that feature, however, I was part of the beta group that allow me to pilot the new Capital One app and the one thing Capital One will do is listen to their customers, so write to them about the missing features via the capital one app, provide them with actual feed back. Educate yourselves on the app. Don't just bash it because you're unfamiliar with it or do not like change. I believe it's the best of all it's app so far.

Yay for Capital One. I have used the app for over a year now...maybe two years. Who knows how long? I have never had one problem with it. No crashes, no glitches, nothing. That gives me another opportunity for confidence in the company. I have been a capital one customer for maybe 6 years or more and I have received several hundreds of dollars in cash rewards.

They look after me and my credit card. One day, a few years ago, I got so angry with them for suspending my charging abilities. I paid with a different card and stepped outside the store to give them a piece of my mind. Turns out they were trying to contact me to ask about my unusual shopping trend over the past couple of days. Yes, I'd been traveling and swiping and ignoring them. My bad. But, they gave me extra rewards and made me smile again.

Also, they have waived a late payment fee. Why? Because they appreciate me. And, I appreciate Capital One, my friend.

I've been using this app for a couple months now and have had NO problems whatsoever. App is so user friendly; I can access my account activity, payment history, make a payment, add/delete an account, and so much more with this app. I love that I can log in using Touch ID and the app sends you a notification when it logs you out (within a minute or so of leaving the app).. This is my second credit card and the app does everything I need for the sole purpose of my credit card account. Customer service with Capital One is the BEST .. Had a scam issue earlier this year, called CS and they were able to stop payment immediately. Never had an issue with the app but I know if I do CS will be right there to assist me with it. I also love how the app has an option to locate free nearby ATM/banks.....this is so helpful when you don't want to pay a fee for debiting your account. All in all i am a very satisfied customer

I decided to refinance my house and decided to check out Capital One since I was already a credit card customer. When I called, my call was taken by loan officer Mark Shepardson. Within minutes he had me approved and locked my interest rate for 60days.

I have always dragged my feet when it comes to this type of business because of the time consuming and long process BUT not with Capital One. Mark Shepardson and team were very efficient and very professional!

Mark was very patient, extremely thorough and very knowledgable. We discussed various scenarios until I found what I wanted.
He inspired me trust. I felt very comfortable and my search ended with Capital One. I am so glad I called them on that Saturday and thanks to Mark they now have my business and a very happy customer.

The process went extremely efficient and smooth.

I highly recommend Capital One to anyone needing financing. They are the very BEST!!!

This is a great credit card service! I have not had a credit card for many many years. I went to apply for a new home loan to buy a house and My loan officer told me that I was in a unique situation. I did very well by not having any debt, but I did not have any available credit either. He continued to explain that he could offer the loan today, but my not be available by the time I was ready to purchase a home. He said that I should get a CC, use it regularly and make the minimum payment or pay it down every month on time and that would help establish a credit line that would be visible to the banks. I took his advise and started using Capital One. My credit score shot up after 6months and I have accumulated additional monies that I can use for whatever with their point system. I can also track my credit score with the app!

Great card, great system, great product! Thank you Capital One!!!

What's in your wallet??

Yeah, it's redundant but this app is not. Cap1 has definitely set itself apart from the rest (to this day some cards do not even have online access to their cards). We don't have any branches of this bank in the area so I was a tad bit concerned with getting timely, detailed and accurate information. In addition I was clueless whether or not the phone reps were idiots or friendly and professional. As it works out I barely ever call them, I use the app for almost everything. And that is what it has, as if I had my own personal rep who I just had to ask once and I got a call anytime I push a button, kind of like a butler who shoots to my side just by ringing a bell. And what is fantastic is I don't have to pay him. Yeah I know, interest, but heck all of them have that and Cap1 is darn low compared to the others. So get the card just to get the website. You will be happy as a clam, whatever that means.

They're doing it right. Quick to login-especially with the swipe feature-and there's never any lag time. Actually, I think it's the most useful app on my smart phone to date... That's why I say polished-not "a good try", but a highly decent and highly functional useful product. I have yet to run into any bugs or crash problems-I wish that whoever they got to do this app would do more apps. Whoever designed and tested and wrote this app really knows what they're doing. If it weren't for this app I might not be with Capital One-it really enhances the experience of being a customer to be able to pay your bill in under 30 seconds... Especially for those of us wonderful and valuable customers who like to make micro payments. Yes, I'm afraid to say that this app is one of the best I have-and it's for a bank-who would've thought? Well done! Finally! Something useful!

I like be able check my banking on line and very good I do have say and yes it be nices to have check deposited on here as well like other banks and for all y'all people that are mad bout check ur card u can u have set up in on line banking on compter there u can see ur charges at bottom of on line banking and u see it on ur phone be sure to do it on on line banking on compter first I been with capital one banking for many years and credit card I do have say they are great in both areas and they was first one give me credit card thank you so many years go and that what was part of reson I switch to capital one banking I never had any problems with eather one and please change hang on to please wait it sounds more nicer then hang on like y'all say that to cosmer in line it should be same even if ur do ur banking on line just as if u was at bank thank :)

Bank info again which I've been using for several years now but anyways once I put the info in it says they already have that info, so no way to pay being that it keeps taking me back to the enter banking info that they already have so I hope Capitol One reads these reviews and fixes this problem so your customers can make their payments on time. I give them 5 stars without this problem.

I'm not a company employee and I'm rating this app 5 stars. I have been with capital one for 6 years now and have had this app for a while and I'm very satisfied with everything, including the option to use the new sign on security function instead of signing in every time with a password. Not sure why the person below me is talking about customer service and everything else besides the app. These posts are for app ratings, complaints about everything else should be on the actual website itself. But since we are on the subject, customer service has always been great and has handled my fraud disputes and other matters promptly every time. I have never had an issue contacting them and my wait time has never been anything more than a couple of minutes.

I love my bank!! I use the app to check my balances, transfer $ between accounts, and deposit checks. It's fast, efficient, and accurate. The app is so easy to use, a third grader could do it. I recently opened debit accounts for my teenaged kids, and set up an auto-transfer for their monthly allowance. What could be easier? No more having to remember whether I paid them already, and they get used to the idea of keeping track of their own money. It's not like a credit card; they can't spend more than they have. I can check their balances any time I want, or transfer more money in/out, but they don't have access to my account. It came in very handy when our older son travelled without us. All in all, I couldn't be happier with my bank!

I'm seeing reviews of others having problems with depositing checks. It's only fair that I disclose my review and usage- it's only to keep track of my credit card balance and make payments as necessary. I've been very pleased with the ease of signing up and accessing my information. I also have a credit card from Bank of America and have been unable to actually get signed up (have to do it from a computer to use the app but it's telling me my account is invalid- I don't have a bank account with them, only the credit card). Thankfully there isn't that same frustration with this one. I've never had credit card debt, and out of thousands available I only owe about $40. I love being able to keep close track of it and build my credit.

I have been a long time user of Capital One savings accounts. They provide slightly better interest and a way to keep savings separate from my daily cash flow. (The 2-3 day lag time to get monies transferred back to my regular checking account made me think twice about whether I really needed to make a purchase!) Just recently my wife and I acquired our first Capital One credit card with the intention to use it for all daily transactions and never carry a balance. This app makes it easy to check our balance (kudos for Touch ID) and make payments. I just discovered the credit monitoring tool and have to give it high marks for presenting both the score AND how it was calculated. So far the app warns 5 stars. Updates to follow.
