First time I've ever actually reviewed an app, and I'm ecstatic about it. I've made all my payments on time using this app. It's awesome. I've linked two capital one credit card accounts, so upon signing in, I immediately see my updated balances on both cards. All I do is click on the balance, and I can make a payment, check payment history, and even see my processing charges. I love that I can make a payment through my app and have it post the same day, and credits are immediately available the next day (as long as you pay before the specified time zone cutoff time). On my quicksilver cash back card, I can actually see AND cash in my rewards through the app. I never knew credit card management count be so easy! LOVE IT!

Saw someone who rated this a 1 star and was a bit perplexed, had comments like "out of date design" and boo "2 step verification".

A) regardless of how pretty it is, I can conveniently manage all of my capital one accounts through this app without needing to access the web portal. I can ...pay pills
review transactions
find atm's/ branches
Call support
Etc...

B) on a less significant note...design is actually crisp, modern, and pleasant.

C) my credit card acct. only ever asks for the gesture verification... Sounds like "2step guy" has some setting turned on or didn't allow it to remember his device.

D) I just wish there was gesture login for the checking acct side of things, still need standard password for that

I love the entire lineup of Capital One products. I just got off the phone with their support staff and the entire 15 minute call (set off by me needing to reset my password) couldn't have gone any more fluidly than it did. The rep that I spoke with was concise, yet very forthcoming and helpful. He quickly addressed my initial concern and set me up with a checking account. While he was absolutely very professional, he was also VERY human and laughed at my humorous jabs at the process. It's not very often you call a member support service and chat with someone who might live in the very same state that you do. It was like I'd called an old friend. High enough praises cannot be offered here. Four thumbs up!

Works better than most bank apps I use. Easy to read and pay.
Only 2 function fixes needed. The main page of credit card accounts lists all my C1 card accounts and balance due but unlike all other banks I have, does not summarize credit available and payment due. The biggest reasons for logging in. It would save having to flip to each card account to look. Compare JPMorgan Chase app has these summaries on an easy to use aero without even fully logging in. Second, as a C1 banking customer the 360 summary of all C1 accounts is great but to actually see the credit accounts or loan accounts you have to close the 360 and re-login to credit or loan. What then is the point of the consolidation if you can't use it.

I love how this app sends you notifications whether you're signed in or not. It sends you messages on spending... "Second look" messages on certain charges.... I love the security feel I get with the app and card. Very convenient and easy. Thank you CO. ---update--- besides the app doing its job, I love the features that come with the CO card. Very good notifications for suspected double charges, out of state charges, not normal charges.... It's great! I love this card company features. I see other reviews that say the app isn't working but it works great for me. A random day or two it doesn't work but no longer than 24-48 hours really. And if the app doesn't work, I still get email notifications

This is my first time getting a credit card and this app is a life saver. Even if you were to lose a receipt, your purchases usually show up fairly quickly. The interface is relatively easy to navigate and there are plenty of tips to get you started. One of the biggest reasons I highly recommend this app, is you can setup reminders and alerts that can help prevent you from missing a payment. Also paying through this app only requires a few clicks. I would also highly recommend using Capital One's Wallet app. It's great to use in conjunction with this app. So far I have had a great experience with minimal bugs and glitches. Capital One gets my thumbs up on this one!

I think the previous review by Mr. Randy was senseless at best. To begin with, yes there are two steps for security purposes. With cellphones constantly bring hacked, I think the feature proves more than trustworthy. The app also makes it fast and convenient to navigate between your account needs; whether they be credit cards, banking, etc. I love that it shows me all of my payment history, with the added option to cancel one if need be. The credit tracker feature is pretty nice too, always offering up advice on how to track and maintain your credit history. Overall, I've yet to run into the app freezing up or not functioning altogether! Great job Capital One!

Capital one all day long hands down. The app is very useful being that I work on the road a lot. I can easily make a payment or check the balance on my cards. And they were the first to give me a chance, I've applied for small lowes cards and get turned down every time but thanks to capital one I am now establishing some credit. Credit one...complete opposite. They gave me a card but I had to pay a annual fee of almost 100$. And that comes out soon as you sign up for the card. I didn't even have my card activated and already had my first bill. I could go on and on There are a ton of reasons why I asked the lady what do I have to do to cancel my account?

I don't have any experience with the deposit function of the current app, but have seen several negative comments made about that specific feature. My experience with the rest of the app has changed my opinion about Capitol One from negative to positive. I'm never late with a payment, have several payment options and its easy to use and has worked for me without any problems. I wish my mortgage company and utility bills had an app like this! Thanks Capitol One for such a great app, if you could address the issues with the image capture section for online deposits I think most users would then consider this to be a "perfect" app!

Set up is wonderfully convenient for what it is. Makes it want to pay your bills hehehehe. Just kidding on that last part but really it keeps you posted if you are due or going to go over your limit. The only thing that bothers me is that when you pay your bill it takes awhile for the transaction to go through. Example on my checking account it doesn't even show I have a pending transaction until the payment actually goes through two days after I made it. Not a big deal at all I just like to see the true amount in my account at all times without having to use my brain to remember if I paid someone or not.

I been been with Capital one for about a year and a half now. I started with their secured and moved up to unsecured ones. I know have three cards with them including the secured one. I have always had. Never had any problems or issues. I pay my bill on time, and even got a credit limit increase of $300 which was pretty cool! I want the quicksilver card but my credit score isn't quite there yet! App is awesome. It works well and I like that I can see how much I owe when it is due, and what I have available for credit. My payment has never taken more than 24hrs to post. Absolutely love capital one:)

In a perfect world, all mobile apps would work like this! The information is delivered real time and empowers me to make informed financial decisions. I am able to instantly transfer money to the accounts of other Capital One bank account holders with just a few clicks. I wish every financial obligation in my life could be managed and paid for right from my phone. Updates - while not that frequent - don't leave me feeling as if I have to "relearn" the application. I have been using the app since the company was ING and find I only use it more because it keeps getting easier.

This app is great!! I can make pymnts 2 my truck loan from here. I can make pymnts 2 my credit on here. I can transfer $$ between accts. I can chk my credit score. Its absolutely awesome & very convenient!!!!
I recommend this app 2 anyone that either had a credit card with them or is just has a bank acct with them. I have a credit card w/ them, my vehicle loan just happens 2 be from Capital One & I have a checking acct & now a savings acct. It really is awesome 2 do everything & feel safe doing so w/ the security settings u allow.

Seriously though this app is extremely quick and simple to use. Well thought out and organized. I can pay my bill with ease or check transactions to be up to date. Bonuses are the quick use of points and erasing travel costs. If you don't have the venture card, and you use your card for at least $3k/yr then you need too. Double points and right now they have a 40k point new customer incentive that is well worth it. I have had C1 for 10 years now and love it. Last year they helped me when my card was compromised-total peace of mind!

I had Wells Fargo for far too long and just kind of accepted that mobile banking apps sucked. My fiancé and I needed to open a joint account so we decided to look at our options and found Capital One. The experience is night and day – Capital One actually put time and effort into making this a fluid, fun to use mobile banking app. If your bank's app is just their (crappy) mobile site in an app container, you'll be delighted when you get your hands on this. Needless to say I dropped Wells Fargo like a bad habit – because that's exactly what it had become.

I like this app better than I like CapitalOne! I went to the app to pay, but first set up alerts that they reminded me to do. I have been wanting a heads up on payment due date, DONE!
Then went to pay bill, saw total balance due, pending charges, minimum amount due, chose last statement balance. Scheduled payment by due date tomorrow! Again DONE! Best of all I did this while taking a warm jacuzzi with my iPod G4 (my favorite little device that some apps no longer support) in a plastic zipped bag. Aching muscles soothed. DONE Nice all around.

It's been great working with this app when I have the time. I like it's instant credit score except for the fact that it needs to update more often since I have a credit bureaus access and I also received notices of my improvement. I've been working on my credit for years. And having all these apps that will display your credit score can keep me in track of my goals. So basically the only issue would be the update of my credit score since the BBS displays a better score improvement. However, I'm very grateful for this app. :)

As a new credit card user, I was amazed at how easy this is to use! I applied for my card to boost my credit score and I love how I can make purchases and then take out my phone and pay it off immediately! Also love the credit tracker feature. Trying to boost my credit to buy my first home and this app has made it so easy and actually kinda fun. The cash back reward app feature is also super simple. Haven't cashed mine out, think in about a vacay, but when I do it will just be a few taps away! Thanks capital one!

I have been reading a lot of reviews from everyone and most are having problems, yet some are lagging with their account or the access of the app. I have not yet have any problem with mine, it has been working well, i am able to pay my card bill, check balance, and even access my credit limit.

What my concern with this is that i dont see the transactions throughout the payment or anything else regarding to that sector. I would like to see a bit more update on that part, other then that, it is fine and i like the app.

I've been using this app from the start and have not been in a bank since. I am not sure about the picture of check automatically. It has to fail a couple of times before you have the option of taking it manually. I think having both options available so if you like taking it manual you can from the start. It can get pretty frustrating when several attempts fail.
Since I wrote my last review the deposit checks has improved great. I don't go to bank in along time.
Now that I am able to use the swipe it's even better.
