My daughter is only 19 months and she knows how to open the app and pick her favourite show and change shows. She loves the app so much and she can sit there for a hr quiet. Plus my tv don't like picking up free tv so she can still watch her shows just on the iPad. I have five stars and I do suggest for parents to get it. If you don't want your child watching certain shows there's a bit where you can block shows so it's very good

This app is near flawless.
If you want touch control (ie your child is pushing the home button or parts of the screen) and you're using an iPhone you should look into guided access (triple click the home button and push options).
The yellow screen is usually network related or close the app and reopen.

Amazing easy to access kids content. I can safely allow my child to navigate entire app while waiting and waiting at the dr with no worries what he is watching... Although fireman Sam might be a bit of a worry after my son asked me to drive off a cliff the other day so the fireman could rescue us

What a fantastic app! No hiccup with the streaming service and the video quality is good enough for the iPad screen size.

I can only think of 2 features that would make it complete. Search and AirPlay.

My 2.5 year old navigates with ease. Turn on guided access to prevent exiting of the app.

App works perfectly on iPad mini. All the best ABC Kids shows streamed on demand for free. Easy interface for children to use, four year old picked it up immediately with no instruction. Never had a problem streaming either. Parental controls are also great thanks. Highly recommended.

Love that I can filter shows I don't want my child to watch, as well as using the timer. For shows such as Emma that barely last five minutes on TV, this app means it is possible for these shows to be watched over and over, without annoying the parents.

I absolutely can't thank you enough- now my son is able to watch all his favourite shows on ABC for free anytime- no more unhappy car trips :))) so many shows to choose from and plenty of episodes it works great on iPhone no problems yet.

This app is great. And for all those 1 star reviews.. Read your iPad user manaul and realise your device has a MUTE switch on the side of it (next to the volume controls). the mute switch overrides the volume controls. Great work ABC..

Some of the critical reviews here are amazing. Funny, you didn't pay for this app so you don't have a right to be so demanding! Great app for the little ones but not supported on iPad pro. Would appreciate a fix in next update - thanks!

For everyone looking for screen lock functionality Google "iOS screen lock for kids" and it will explain how you can switch that on for any application using the "guided access" option in iOS (iPad and iPhone operating system)

This app is fabulous, it really is about time that kids had an app that had all their favorite shows without annoying ads and distracting things popping up. I love the timer and the parental control features, great job ABC!!!

Please please please get rid of the noise from smiley face button that takes you back to the main screen. Even if the volume for the video is low that button has no volume. It's just too loud. Other wise it's great!!!

A perfect distraction for my boy. Keeps him busy and I know totally safe content and simple to navigate. Shows are all about 10mins which is ideal amount of time for me to get a quick job done eg a phone call.

I particularly like that you can hide the shows which make you want to stab yourself in the eye, and the parental lock requires an action that you have to be able to read to access it.

I have nothing bad to say about this app at all!
The only thing I suggest is maybe lock it while a video is playing, as my baby loves to hold the iPad and touch and kiss the screen!

My 3 year olds favourite app, easy for him to choose what he wants to watch, would be perfect if you can select shows for offline viewing on long road trips.

My child enjoyed this app because it has all her favourite tv shows and when she watches on the tv sometimes there is a show that she does not like at all

Please fix this as my daughter adores this but it hardly ever loads and always says there is a problem come back later. Trying telling that to a toddler.

Great app. Easy to use and excellent collection of videos for the kids.

Fantastic app! My three year old is obsessed!
The only thing that should be added is the be able to save videos for offline viewing.
