This app has revolutionized how I view my care plan with my docs. Appointments are listed in order for you; if you forget when or where you're going, just click on your appointment list! You can also see past appointments and instructions, so if you lose the papers your doc gave you, no worries. Perhaps the most handy for me is the medication list - mine is pretty lengthy, and having it at my fingertips is a definite plus, especially when someone not familiar with my care is asking. This is one of the top 5 apps I have ever used. Sure, it occasionally won't let you in, but like all technology, nothing is foolproof. When managing a chronic illness, it's a definite must.
A word to the wise - when you are doing the initial setup, do it online instead of on your phone/ipod touch. You will save yourself a big headache.

I have used MyChart for over seven years to manage my healthcare from home and abroad, so I was thrilled to see Epic release an iPhone counterpart to MyChart. The app is very neatly organized, totally intuitive, and in many ways superior to the web portal. Instant access to my medications list, allergies and immunizations, past and future appointments, and messages to/from my doctor make this app indispensable. Load times are quick (could be better over 3G). I'd love to see appointment scheduling added, but I think there are more real-time data refresh issues that might hold up that feature. I love the smooth, color-coded proxy access flow - much more user-friendly than the web portal's proxy flow - and the ability to add photos. Overall, the best medical record app on the market, and it's free!

This app. is extremely valuable and works for me exactly as advertised. I recommend it without reservation; however, consistent participation from your treatment provider is an essential piece of the equation.

MyChart provides me with a seamless, confidential and reliable link to my most important healthcare providers. I can access my test results, verify my appointments, send messages to my doctors, etc.

Again, the only reason it works so well, is because my doctors trust it to accurately and confidentially exchange information with me. Two active MyChart providers in Houston, Texas, are Kelsey-Seybold and Baylor College of Medicine.

I can't wait until Epic releases a version for iPad.

A lot of people have been leaving negative reviews of the app based on the fact that one cannot change or correct healthcare information. That information has to be changed through the medical provider and has no bearing on the app itself. The app works great and is actually much easier to navigate than the website my medical provider has for my online medical records. It is easy to appointment times of both current and past. I can easily message my doctor directly from the app and even request appointments and prescription refills. If you are looking for an app to help keep your basic health information accessible to you at anytime then this is the app for you. I have had nothing but a good experience with it thus far.

It's like having your medical chart at your finger tips.

Has the ability to take payments (depending on provider) it also shows me all my labs and I can communicate directly with my doctor.

Love that this app allows me to view my information from my previous provider and my current. It's extremely helpful and must have.

Looking forward to future updates that utilize iOS 8 & the iPhone 6(+) in creating a good universal health exchange between my phone and my provider. It should make it easier to track my health and any issues that arise if myChart utilizes the information and reports back to my doctor. Can you imagine? It would really be life changing!

MyChart is one of my favorite apps on my phone!

This app allows you to view test results as soon as they are ready, allows to to personally contact your doctor, Rather than waiting two or three days for a receptionist to give him the message. And yes the doctors do reply and often times personally. The ability to request refills day or night is very convenient and usually refilled within a day or two. The app also allows you to schedule your own appointments with your primary care physician physical therapist or any other specialists you need to see. You can review your chart, medications, test results, upcoming appointments, and medical history. I love it.

This app has made a huge difference in my life. Between me own care and when I cared for my mom before her death, I could not have asked for more ... until now.

App needs updating. You have the capability of storing and transmitting PDFs and pix, so what about images of my X-rays and the like for when I am traveling away from SW territory and should need a doc immediately to know the details of my last surgery?

Biggest of all is that your platform is limited to phone apps and there are way too many tablets out there to miss that market. iPad and other tablet versions are way overdue.

This app is incredible. I message my wonderful PAMF GP all the time (I'm amazed she puts up with me!) and get advice, medical information, appointments, meds refills and test/lab results, and so much more.

It saves an incredible amount of time, is super convenient, I prefer messaging to phone calls, and this is the future of medical care. It means fewer visits, greater peace of mind and great preventative contact with my medical team. I can even pay my copays with it.

Truly excellent app, I've never had a problem with it.

This app is very convenient to access appointments, history, etc. I was elated to have it ask me this morning if I wanted to use Touch ID for future logins. Since I have a randomly generated password having to retrieve it each time I opened the app was a pain. So I am very grateful for the added functionality!

Note that like one of the other reviewers my long password was created and managed by 1password yet I didn't have any trouble pasting the password into the password field when opening the app to login.

I sent an email to developer and they returned with a fix within the hour. Awesome!

We have heard of issues on devices with a corrupt region format. Our app does not modify the region format but it does read from it when starting the app.
Here’s how you can reset your region format:
Settings App > General > International > Region Format. Change this to United Kingdom, then return to “International”. Launch the MyChart app, you can then go back and change it to United States

I find this app very helpful. I use it to keep up with my appointments and to track my lab results. It encourages me as I watch my cholesterol numbers drop and see how my blood pressure is doing over several office visits. I am not sure what happened to the "bills" tab. I used see how much I paid and how much I owed right in the app but now I have to go online. I used to be able to pay my bill from within the app. Please consider bringing back this feature.

I've been using the mychart app for a few weeks now and it's simply amazing! I get all my test results and messages from my doctor and I can easily reply back and also request refills on my meds.. To the people complaining about that it doesn't save your password.. I think that you should be thankful it don't, it's a extra security feature.. if I lost my phone and someone had access to my health records that would be a disaster. Great app 5+ stars

My medical team makes full use of the features in this app. I can see my labs, explanations of results, all my diagnoses, reminders of what procedures and preventive care I am due for. I can schedule appointments, consult with my doctor, request med changes. see graphs of past vital signs, weights, etc. I will not use a medical provider that does not utilize this app in the future. It has changed routine medical care for the better.

I do not understand the complaints given in some reviews. I am able to get my medical records, send messages to Drs. and medical staff (and receive) , make, confirm, or cancel appointments, renew prescriptions, view when certain medical tests are due, and get medical summaries, among other things. It is unfortunate that others are experiencing difficulties.

I love this app. It has allowed flexibility in scheduling appointments, contacting my physician, and asking for prescription refills.

The only complaint I have is I wish the app developers would incorporate touch ID into the login process rather than having to type in a password every time.

Other than that, the app is great.

I have been using the web version of MyChart for over a year. I really like this app for my iPhone 6. I actually like it better than the web version. Navigation is easy & straightforward, no frills or unnecessary screens. My labs, appointments, etc. are all there in a clean format. Highly recommend this app for iPhone.

Keeps crashing. I’ve deleted and reloaded and it still keeps crashing. Would be great if it worked for me!!! Please fix it!!

I did have an issue which the developer told me how to correct. The app now works perfectly!! Love it and its very useful when i visit a Dr. that doesn’t use MyChart!!!

This is a wonderful app for making appointments, viewing your test results, sending and receiving messages to and from your doctor. It seams that they are focusing on creating a realtime to communicate which is pretty refreshing. I also have my mom set up to use it as well and she is 90 years old.

I use it for sending messages to my doctor at OHSU and Salem hospital.
Schedule and checking appointments. View test results and health summery, view details on prescriptions, view statements and much more.
So far, no problems and works well.
I highly recommend this app! 10 stars!

I have cancer and this app helps keep me on track. I use it at least twice a week. It makes following appointments and testing very easy. Plus all my test results appear within a few days or sometimes even hours. If you are really involved in your health care get this app!
