I loved the original Final Fantasy Adventure when I was a kid, it was my favorite game ever on the original Game Boy. This is the remake that not only does the original game justice, (unlike the awful Sword of Mana GBA "remake")but actually surpasses the source material in every aspect! Now you can even set the background music to the original gameboy chip tune version! Awesome!!!

This is a great tribute to Final Fantasy Adventure on Gameboy, except now with stunning full color graphics and beautifully remixed music! I really hope this same treatment is given to the third game in this series (Seiken Densetsu 3 from the Super Nintendo - which was never released in English). That game is incredible and deserves to be played by a wider audience.

I played Final Fantasy Adventure (in German) in 1991 on my original GameBoy and it quickly became my favorite game. It was Squaresoft’s answer to Nintendo’s Zelda. With this update from Square Enix, new gamers can really fall in love with this very clever game. The graphics are beautiful; the gameplay is faithful to the original.
