I'm really sad that it's not available for Android because recently I had to change phones. Finding out that there's no app for Android that can even compare to this one bummed out to the point of almost not changing phones.

If you try it once you’ll love it and wouldn’t want to use any other dictionary. Additionally I am using it to study kanji - the Flashcards are amazing, very convenient. I Highly recommend to give it a try!!!

You can look for a word either in English or Japanese.
Can type in kana or Kanji and even handwriting option is available.

I love this dictionary. It does everything I need it to. It even has modern words and old school terms that you’ll have a good lol over with your Japanese mates when practicing your new vocab on them.

You can learn kanjis in conjunction with a book. This app will teach you how to write kanjis. There are also example sentences to practice the usage and can help recognizing the kanjis when you read.

I think this is one of the best dictionaries out there. It's easy to use and I find the feature for writing the kanji using strokes, especially when you don't know how to read the kanji, very useful.

Not only dictionary you can also learn from very level conversations, look for word examples in sentences and many others. You should download this app if you learn japanese or and English.

Shirabe Jisho is a great tool to study Japanese. The ability to draw kanji for a search sets it apart from other free dictionaries. There are also flash card sets to help study JLPT kanji.

This is by far the best jishou that i use for iphone.. and i hope they will improve it by putting medical terminologies to help those who work in medical fields like us. Thank you!!!

I suggest the developer to add one extra window for Kanji practice with all step above.

It's really a great app that recognises strokes well. All i can ask for is a daily kanji popup that introduces us to a new word

Other than that, definitely staple in learning japanese

Really helped me to sharpen my Japanese language knowledge. I would like to suggest divide the JLPT level kanji lists in a way more appropriate. Now its kind like a mix of each level.

You can crack all the JLPT exam by using this app. I am using this from 2 yrs. & i found it very important and useful.try it and use its menu option u can found all the study data!!!!

The best dictionary to learn Japanese. It became a part of my life here in Japan. You can develop your language ability very quickly due to its convenient and easy to use functions.
