this game is amazing! I used to play a different version of this game(basically the same idea) on PC. it can be improved a lot!

Here's some of my ideas
1.Add more characters to unlock & more classes
2.Add experiment bar during battle so you can see when you will level up
3.Higher level potions, and make potions limit can carry to unlimited, make potions little cheaper.
4. Back to life grass, it's very expensive grass that you can use to revive but you can only use it once a game.
5. multiplayer: local players team up to fight monster!
choose a random online match to fight!
6. more weapons (With elements like lighting, water, life, fire...etc)
7.Armors(shirts, pants, shoes, necklace, headwear), it would be nice to make your character to wear some fancier cloths instead of just jewlery.
8.Make passive skill have more chance to
9.Bosses, make the bosses more interesting, instead of just make a giant version of a mob, bosses should have special skills that takes strategy to beat instead of just going on up and slash the boss.

that's all! I wish this game will be the best game on the App Store!

Now I don't usually leave reviews on apps but this one deserves one. If you love gameplay like Dust: An Elysian Tale, this game is great for you. I love the game a lot, and is probably one of my favorite mobile games of all time. It has very smooth graphics and is very well made. I haven't encountered any glitches so far so that seems good. The difficulty is also perfect, it gets pretty hard but is still really fun to play. The controls could be a little better, because I sometimes press the wrong button because they are so close together. The drop rate for items is also one of the best things of this game, mostly because the epic items are rare, but with a little searching they aren't impossible to find which is nice. (I prefer the Heretic place for farming epics). I am looking forward to some great updates soon, and what i would love is a multiplayer feature. The game is great but once you beat it there isn't much to do except survival and defend modes. But whoever has read this to the end I appreciate you viewing my review, and i highly recommend this game to anyone, so try it out!

Technical - smooth, no bugs, has the quality of a payed game

Gameplay - Everything can be earned. I've never had a single moment where I wanted to use real money, as everything can be earned. How difficult the game is depends on how skillful and intuitive you are.

Tips - Learn how to combo and chain you basic attacks with your abilities. make use of your backstep. find ways to camp strong monsters that you can't go toe to toe with (pinning against a wall works against almost everything). Figure out how to hit without getting hit. Don't bother gambling by buying the random armor or random weapon. You can totally find rare gear yourself. I saw a review by some lvl 13 who got "cheesed" by the act 2 final boss even while he had lots and lots of defense. I cleared the act 3 final boss at level 15, with very little defense. Just follow the tips I mentioned above and you should be able to fight just about anything.

1.This game level system really need to rebalanced,im now level 30 and i need to farm a act at least 6 times to level up.

2.This game graphic and animation looks good and run smoothly on iPad air.

3.This game got only a few equipment u can get,so plz add more of it in the future update also add some new type of equipment like ring,shoulder,shoes,necklace,etc.

4.The equipment drop rate of this game really depends on luck,sometime if u r lucky getting pink color item or purple color item wont be a problem.

5.The extra character lith is way too hard to unlock plz make it easier like unlock at the start of normal mode not at the end of normal mode.

6.At last MULTIPLAYER MODE PLEASE!!!

7.For those who dont know how to unlock normal mode and hard mode u need to clear every act on easy first it doesn't matter u r using luke or elisa. And the extra character lith u can unlock it by clearing every act on normal .

Can you make new arcane soul game ,name is arcane soul 2 and in this game you can change his helmet,plate,boots,arms,and any more like new weapon blade and shield ,and with character man can use more different weapon not like in the past only 1 character use 1 weapon bug in this new arcane soul every character man or women can use more than one different weapon like hammer,bow,lance,and anymore please and you can use the story mode is same like the past but with new story line with element effect player specific more,and you can give event with strong blade or every dungeon with new monster King ,and anymore please this game is good game so don't let your player game in this world are down but make them up and happy for that future game please ok see you I am waiting for this new arcane soul game make it happen for you and your player game happy and profit.

The gameplay is, to me, quite entertaining. There have been complaints in other reviews about loot drop models and the need to farm, but that is marginal to me because I enjoy the mindless grinding. What I was concerned about when I was considering playing the game was how necessary in-app purchases would be for the gameplay and/or completion of the game. I was quite happy to learn that it is, in no way, mandatory. That the game is completely playable as a standalone experience was a huge draw for me.

It may not be an epic story or an extremely in-depth RPG, but it does not, to me, need to be. It is an excellent hack'n'slash with entertaining RPG elements and hits the mark for me insofar as what I am looking for in terms of a way to kill time and the style/genre of game it is.

I've been looking around the appstore for a while trying to find a fun 2D hacknslash. For what you can do on a phone this hit nearly everything I wanted: a place to just go into without too many menus or loading screens, paytoplay where it hurts the game, or really story to stop you from just getting in an thrashing some monsters for 10minutes while I wait or blow off some steam. My only complaint would have been that the attack button isnt in the bottom right corner where my thumb goes to naturally when Im button mashing but I got over it. Great game and I learned a lot about gameplay mechanics playing this for when I make my own on pc.

Haven't played many RPG's on the App Store, as they usually didn't prove promising. This, however, is definitely a gem that needs to be checked out by RPG fans. Fast paced, smooth graphics, and a variety of different skills. The level design is simple, but it's effective, and experience points are distributed at a pretty good amount. Maybe one thing to be improved upon is the boss battles, but it's a pretty minor flaw considering all the good things this game can offer. Countless hours of entertainment in the main adventure plus 2 challenge modes that reward you with items and gold. Def recommend.

I've been playing this game since its release. The negatives: it is a grind (need to spend a lot of time leveling up) and the IAP could be better (gold seems too expensive, no coin doubler). Positives: great controls, simple yet strategic gameplay (when to jump, when to dash back, when to use/conserve magic), varied enemies and weapon stats, great animation and character design, great interface. I only spent some money so I could support the developer, but I put probably 20 hours into this game without any money. The latest update even made the grind less tedious. Highly recommended.

The game is well balanced, gold drops are fair, and vendor prices go well with the drops and leveling progress. Gameplay is tough but balanced and very fun. You can gamble for pets which is fun. 3 different heroes and you can level them up to 80 which is extremely long challenge. Easily 20+ hours if not double that I'm guessing. The Devs are responsive to email and Facebook posts.

The only wish I had was for a gold/XP doubler that you buy with $ instead of just buying piles of gold. Not a big issue but it would be nice.

I love everything about this game; the super smooth gameplay, the combo system, the skill sets and weapons, the game modes, everything! It feels like Elsword/Grand Chase, two of my favorite games. I would like PVP to be implemented into this game, because that's one of the best parts of games like these! And also, could you try to fix how the sound effects turn off when I try to play my own music? I want the sfx to still be there while I play my own music when playing the app. Thanks for reading my review!

This game has served me atleast two years of time!...what i think is that it's a little related to grandchase and elsword (Pc Online Games) which i like!! xD, but i would like this game to be more active like...online maybe? and easier to get money because obtaining money in this game is hard...in the time that ive played this.. it has given me great satisfaction, but i have only seen one update so far and i would like to have updates :) so far this is an awesome game!!! ^_^ should play it!

This is an amazing game that really deserves more attention than it has. I can't wait to see what the creators of this game make next.

One flaw that I would say this game has is that it requires a lot of grinding to progress (or at least in my experience). Also, I would really love it if they would add more characters or different armor pieces to this game to give it more variety. All in all, I definitely recommend giving this game a go if you haven't already.

It's a bit on the edgy side I like hack and slash at the same time I get to use some different moves which is cool so it's not too repetitive.

Luckily I saw this game today I've been looking for a game that can keep me occupied and so far not many of them in the App Store made the cut despite how popular they are.

This is a good game if you want to be engaged and completely forget about reality. Been awhile since I've been this absorbed in a game...rehab?

Me encanta este juego por que por fin el héroe es más poderoso que los malos y tiene muchos poderes y combos. Es un juego donde el creador del juego te da muchas opciones para ganar ,no como otros juegos que te hacen la vida imposible y te obligan a comprar para avanzar. Ojalá que más personas descargarán este juego para que se den cuenta de lo bueno que es.

Saw this on KaoKao but wasn't interested in the freemium. However this standalone version is incredible. Lots of depth, no timers, NO online-only, RPG items, great graphics, decent controls. This is a rare gem on the app store. I hope they don't ruin it with updates but as it is now, it's near perfect of freemium done right. I'll be sending money their way.

I find the best hack and slash adventure game on mobile and it isn't supported. Is there anyway that you could add compatabillity to iPod touch 4th generation? It's looks like an amazing game but I can't play it. I'm sorry, but this game is just too awesome to pass on. Can you just see what you can do?

there really is nothing like it in the App store. its the perfect future-retro, side-scrolling, RPG, beat-em-up. its absolutely FREE which is incredible bc the quality is of the highest order. currently in my top-5 for sure! (WaywardSouls, Phoenix HD, CrossyRoad, ProFeelGolf, ArcaneSoul)

I love this game, and it has never let me down. However, the player base is still very tiny, and if it expands, this game could become a very big and large success. If you guys believe in this too, please rate it too so this game can become the best!

This game runs faster now for my iphone 4 thanks to this awesome update! Btw for for those who dont know... Around act 4 to go through the ground you have to press Down and Jump at the same time to go down a level.
