This is the best thing that could had happened to me! I found out though Instagram and I thought it was just another one of those adds that don't really do what they say they will, but I tried it anyway and I love it. 1. I don't have to pay a minimum of $300 like other traditional driving classes it's only $99! Perfect for a teen like me with a part time job and going to school and I don't have to try to find time in my schedule to go to a driving school and sit in a class room for 2 hours and I don't get threatened of getting kicked out of the driving school if I miss more than 3 classes, with this app I can do it when it fits my schedule, when I have the time and I can come back when I want to. 2. I can do it anywhere I am, if that's at home on my computer or visiting my family in Houston I can do it and I can do it at anytime and stop at anytime, I can do it at 3 a.m. if I wanted and they give you extra help by giving unlimited pre-test for 99 cents. 99 cents for UNLIMITED practice tests. (Giving the prices to show how cheap but effective this school is) 3. I haven't gotten to this step yet but once you complete the chapters/courses they send your certificate in the mail or e-mail it to you and you can chose options to overnight it so you can keep the ball rolling on your driving. 4. It is so intuitive, the app reads to you, gives pictures and videos, also every so often it gives you a little one question quiz in the chapter to make sure you were paying attention and if you need to go back to something previous it allows you to scroll back! All in all, coming from a teen, I love it best thing I could have done!

The idea behind this program is great. I needed something that could work around my schedule, and Aceable does just that. They came up with this app that allows me to not only take the course during my free time, but it makes sure that I understand everything well. I bought the app because I do not have time to go and take a 6 hour class, and because from what others have told me the class itself is a waste of time. Aceable makes all of the material a bit more interesting, and although it is cheesy, I am able to go at my own speed and can continue whenever I find some more time. You guys are seriously life savers. I need to get my license before I go to college and through this app, I am able to save myself some money and learn the material I am supposed to know by the time I go take my driving test. Thank you guys! You guys are awesome. You guys should come by to Houston because many teens here are in need of something like this app, but do not know that it is available to them at a much more cheaper price. Many schools do not offer drivers Ed, so I know you guys could potentially do a partnership with the private school sector, or charter schools because those are big here in Houston. I have referred a few friends already and they liked this more than having to go to driving school. Thank you guys for doing this!!

The Aceable Drivers Education course is a legitimate CA DMV approved. The course has a fantastically designed user interface, and functionality over many devices. The course is one of the only drivers education courses that offers a mobile application. The app allows you to access and continue your work anywhere you have internet access. This luxury is a key contributor to the pricing. The course includes everything from shipping to unlimited access to practice tests. The shipping can also be upgraded to faster services, some even overnight. The customer service side is beyond excellent, from emails, phone calls, live chat, social media, to an actual physical address. The course itself is like no other, in the essence that it fun to complete with very engaging learning. Each slide you switch from has hilarious jokes, memes, and rhetorical questions. The course also gives a personal touch to the user, by using your names in some slides, and greeting you when you begin each time. At the price of $50 it can be compared to many other drivers education courses in the same price range, however Aceable Driving includes services and offers at this price that are not available with others. These include free shipping, unlimited practice tests, and a humorous learning experience.

My son really enjoys this curriculum. It is clearly geared toward his age bracket, and reaches teens on a level that older, more traditional methods often do not. We used another online curriculum for my now-20yo, and that was our issue; it was cheesy and not engaging. She found it outdated and boring, making every lesson a challenge, so I was NOT looking forward to teaching this child to drive after the hassle I had with her. Then I found your app. Having a test drive is great. I handed my son my iPad and said, "Check this out and let me know what you think. If you think you'll use it, then I will buy it." He loves it.

After the lesson on signs, out of the blue one day he said, "Mom, I keep noticing signs everywhere."
The app works!

Thanks to the developers for putting together this curriculum and making the app for iOS. Having it on portable devices helps us utilize chunks of time we would not be able to if we were at home strapped to a desktop, times like sitting in the school parking lot waiting for another child to finish karate lessons or clubs. It really helps this single-parent family make the most out of our busy schedule.

Reasons I tell all my friends to go with Aceable:

1. Engineered to make learning enjoyable with humor, illustrations and engaging language (compare to cut-and-dry textbook language employed by other Driver's Ed programs). For me, the lively approach makes knowledge gleaned more retainable.

2. Learn at your own pace - Go through as many or few chapters/sections as you want, when you want - I'd aim to finish within those mandatory 6 months of holding your learner's license because why wait to have your license???

3. They really do care about their customers and it's easy to tell. My experience with Aceable's customer service has been, hands down, the BEST I've had with any establishment or product (in fact, it's been fun! Hi, Alex! :))

4. With their Progress Log and Driving Manager, Aceable makes the confusing nightmare of parent-taught driver's ed an organized, less intimidating, user-friendly experience. DL-91 papers? Not a problem.

I don't know how to say this without sounding arrogant, but but at first I was worried the program would treat me too much like a child, but I am glad to say it doesn't. It never feels condescending, and the "memes", while a little silly, are still funny.

In addition, the ability to take certain tests on the app instead of at the DMV save loads of time, and really take the pressure off. The pacing is nice, never really feeling like it's going too slow, and the app seems to know exactly which topics need more explanation, or even a graphic. Speaking of which, the the short video graphics look good, and are very easy to understand.

My only complaints are that the app only has a "horizontal" mode, meaning you have to hold your device in a landscape orientation. It's not so big a deal on the iPad because of the extra screen space, but on a phone, the paragraphs can seem kinda scrunched up. Not that big a deal, but still annoying.

Overall, I really do recommend it. It feels quick and easy, and the information taught is extremely valuable.

Coming from a 15 year old girl actually taking the course, it's not boring at all! I don't mind the robot character because it's actually made me laugh a few times :) and it is SUPER convenient! I recently took my finals for school and I would finish with time to spare and all we could do was either be on our phones or sleep. And I actually chose to be on my phone and make progress in my drivers ed. I have older siblings and they said that the drivers ed courses they took were too complicated and they didn't even understand the wording they used. Not with aceable! With aceable, they make learning simple by using words that we (teenagers taking the course) could actually understand. I'm glad I found out about this app because I was actually dreading taking online drivers ed and now I find it exciting with all the memes and videos in the app. So, if you're my age looking for some drivers ed course to take, I absolutely recommend this one!

This is the absolute best thing ever. To get your permit, you complete Level 1 (8 chapters) and take your permit test FROM YOUR PHONE! Then you wait for the certificate to email (I got mine within 20 minutes)!
Coming from a 15 year old, it's actually pretty fun. I did it over the weekend. Its super cool because you take your test on your phone with a 1 hour time limit (I finished within 15 minutes). And when you go to the DPS office, just have your paperwork printed and filled out and they'll give you your permit. Simple as that. No other tests.

P.S. You have to pass with at least 70% or you wont be eligible to retake it for 24 hours. If you pay attention during the chapters, you should get it first try. It will send you all your info when you've passed and you can print it on your home printer from your phone.

I never write reviews, but I just have to say...this was the greatest idea in the history of Drivers Ed! It's so easy, fast, and FUN (yes, Drivers Ed can be fun-but only when you use, you guessed it, Aceable!). It's great because you can go at your own pace and you don't have to sit in some boring classroom for two hours. This was money well spent. By the way, while taking Aceable Drivers Ed, you learn a lot in a way that teens can easily understand. It really prepares you for the road and tells you all about the reality and responsibility of driving. Like someone else said in a previous review...you actually kind of do form a friendship with Ace, even if he is just made up haha, whenever I drive I'll think of him! If I could recommend this to everyone in the world I would!! It's simply the greatest!

At first I purchased a drivers Ed from Virtual Drive of Texas for $100, and it was horrible. I couldn't stand it so I just sipped. Then I heard about aceable from one of my good friends, so I tried it out. I was amazed. It was awesome and so much better than the other one I had. My parents were reluctant to buy another drivers Ed (we couldn't even cancel the virtual drive one because their customer service was horrible). But with all the sales and everything, my parents finally agreed to buy it for me. Not to mention that aceable' customer service is amazing!! I love this app so much and I recommend it to every person out there looking to get their permit or license in a couple of days. Best purchase I have made in a long time. I am really truly impressed.

I had previously used I Drive Safely, but bought this app because my old drivers ed class had expired...I got this one on sale for $100, but it's definitely worth the full price. Sure, some parts are boring. It's drivers ed! But at least Aceable makes it somewhat interesting. The segments are short and there are no annoying timers on the pages. The material is informative and prepared me for the driving test. The first chapter (the one you complete to get your permit) is the longest, but after that you just sail through the chapters. I would definitely recommend this app to any teen or young adult who needs a good drivers ed class. This is worth the money and doesn't take a long time. Thanks for making this great app!

I have never written an app review but felt compelled to with Aceable. The software is great and I could tell it was designed with the utmost care for the user experience. The content is as great and engaging as taking defensive driving could be. But what really set them above and beyond was their customer service. I had an issue with my certificate, my own fault by the way, and Molly and Nicole from Aceable responded quickly and took care of my problem and I will have my corrected certificate soon. Happy to support a local Austin business and I will recommend Aceable to anyone I know who gets a ticket, it is simply the best and most convenient way to complete the course! Thanks!

Aceable is by far one of the greatest companies I have come across in the past year. I came in knowing nothing about drivers education, but that was soon changed. I started a chat with one of the customer service representatives, and it was absolutely fantastic. Helped by Nicole, I had every one of my questions about the course answered in complete detail. I went away with a total knowledge of what I needed to get my permit, and then finally my license. I cannot wait to get started with the content of the app, I'm confident it will be just as pleasing as the service was. I highly recommend this app if you are looking to get started with your education, you will not be let down!

I found this app on an ad on Instagram and thought it was just some scam or not the real thing. I decided to look into it a bit and was disappointed when it was not offered in California, and I continuously checked to see if they'd add it. One day I saw that CA drivers Ed was an option and I quickly told my parents. They were a bit sketchy at first about it but I called the DMV and convinced them. We were able to get 50% off and payed only 25$ for the entire course. BLESS YOU ACEABLE. I recently passed my written test and I am so grateful for the course. It is so perfect for students and whoever has a busy schedule. Thanks so much Ace! GET THIS APP NOW!

I love this app. It is very easy to use & straight forward. You learn everything you need to know & it's super convenient. I love that I can go at my own pace whenever, wherever. I would definitely recommend this to others.

Only con is that right now, I try taking practice tests & after I take a couple, the app starts crashing. Or in the middle of the test when I try to go to the next question the app freezes. I have never had any issues with the app whatsoever until now. I hope this can be fixed so that I can take my final test. The only reason I am waiting to take it, is because I don't want the app to crash while I take it.

Overall this app is laid out great. At first I thought it was strange to do Drivers Ed through an app, but it's actually so handy. I always have my phone with me, and so I can take the lessons whenever. The layout is genius, with the mini quizzes spread out its impossible to not pay attention. The information is arranged nicely and I felt like I really learned everything thoroughly. (When I took the test to get my Permit, I only missed one question!) It's easy to use and just as easy to learn. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy learning how to drive, and I don't know who wouldn't. Nicely done Aceable.

Honestly, I was a little apprehensive about purchasing this app because it's new, but it's proven to be the BEST decision for my daughter. We are on the go quite a bit so it's awesome that she can go through the curriculum anywhere on her phone. It's fun, creative, and definitely written for teens! I had a couple of questions after downloading and the CEO responded directly and within minutes!! Customer service is off the chart, goes above and beyond. Thank you, Aceable, for such a great app!!! My daughter ACEd her test and received her permit after only 6 hours of instruction.

Thanks to Aceable after 10 years of being sick, hospital stays, hospital visits, medical tests, losing my hair 15 times, heart monitors, trial and error with heart medications, collapsing & surgeries I'm finally getting my independence. I passed the Texas Drivers Education Course thanks to you guys at Aceable and can now apply for my license. These guys are the best! I had tried a different online driver's ed before I came across Aceable, and I couldn't even get past the first chapter because it was so boring! I'm honestly so glad I found this one. It's convenient, fun, and just make things so much more simple! I mean, who really wants to spend hours on end in a classroom or with a workbook anyways when you can just do this? No brainer. The whole thing is based on the fact that they genuinely want you to do well. It's definitely been the best for me, I recommend it to all my friends!

Upgraded using the Mother's Day special, but experienced some issues with iTunes. I emailed late at night and got a quick response within minutes. They resolved the issue immediately. I'm so pleased with the information my daughter is learning. She's excited and having fun learning. I'm even more excited for this startup to implement some new parent features and continue to improve on their already innovative product. So far they have been super helpful and extremely responsive to questions, concerns and feedback. Keep up the good work Aceable!!!
