I use both foreflight and this. Foreflight has an easier user interface and, for extra fee, synthetic vision. But this app provides many features that Foreflight provides only in its more expensive pro version, most importantly: geo-referenced plates and taxi diagrams, and weight and balance. I use this app when shooting approaches and taxing, and use Foreflight during a planning and other phases of flight.

I'm a CFI, CFI-I and honestly...I never comment nor rate applications because most of the time they're very bad developed and I don't waste my time on it. But this app is...OMG! I can't believe that everything in here is for free! I had foreflight and garmin pilot and you can get for free here what they wanna charge $150/year. Moving map, METAR, TAF, TFR's, NOTAMS, AF/D, W&B, performance calculations, headwind/X-wind calculator, etc etc etc. everything for free! I've been trying the app since last night and so far I have never thing bad to say! Way to go FltPlan Go!

I am a student pilot preparing to take my FAA knowledge test, and although I have not used FltPlan Go in the air yet, I am more than impressed with all the great features this free app has to offer. I am anxiously waiting to try this in the air to verify future pilotage and dead reckoning flights. Thank you to the whole staff at FltPlan for making this app free. Like many young student pilots, I am not exactly loaded with money and it's awesome to have this handy app to aid in my training.

Fltplan.com has provided an outstanding free service to pilots for years now. The Go app is an extension of that same philosophy and integrates numerous useful features into a convenient app. The flight planning for GA is among the best free or paid available. I even use the VFR sectionals at my airline job to figure out what towns and features I'm flying over. The wind calculator is another great tool. I cannot praise this app enough.

I love this app! I only review apps that I vouch for 100% or ones that are terrible. This app is a wonderful asset in the cockpit. I've used it in IMC and the geo-referenced approach plates are a wonderful touch. I don't know how it is still free. Initially I added it as a substitution until I could afford Foreflight, but with the newest features, I have no intention of subscribing to it. Fltplan Go all the way!

I don't use this or any app as a primary navigation tool. However, being a new pilot, I have required its assistance to get me back on track more than once. It is nice not to thumb through books to get airport information, instead it's just a touch of a button. I suggest this app to everyone, don't waste your money on fore flight.

This version is actually good enough to use in the corporate jet! Connects to Clarity SV quickly and reliably. Maps are smooth. Split screen is a nice addition. Buttons are clear and well laid out. Good job on this app! (fingers crossed that next update doesn't ruin a great app)

This new update is great. As a Canadian I really appreciate the Canadian Flight Supplement and Canadian Sectional maps. I've been trying to think something negative to say about the app but I just can't, I believe FltPlan Go is finally perfect!

I'm thrilled with this app as it has so many helpful tools: tracking my flight with breadcrumbs, weather, my checklist is on my I-Pad now, W & B, storing info for my most used FBO's and more.

Best of all I'm not paying for it anymore!

For a free app, this is everything I could ask for! I'm in the process of replacing my 9 year old kneeboard with my iPad mini and thought I'd need multiple apps, so glad I found this first!! Great job!

Been a long time Fltplan user and this one sets the bar high. The interface is great and the binders feature is top notch. Fltplan and their developers have outdone themselves.

This is a great app. We have the entire flight department using it. However, since this latest update we can use procedures at all. PLZ fix this!!!!!!!!

This program is easy to use. I like having the ability to download my navlogs and weather briefings for offline use.

I don't understand why people will waste money on foreflight when this app has it all, for free.
