I think that the JustEat app is great for foodies and normal people because at the touch of a touch you can access some great restaurants and some really good food. One thing I think that people forget though is that people think that JustEat are liable for the time of the meal which I find unfair because it is up to the restaurant that you order from so if there are any problems you should contact the restaurant not JustEat. JustEat give you an estimated time of the delivery but this can not always be accurate. Overall though this is a really good app that I would definitely recommend to friends and family for example I downloaded the app on a friends phone because he wasn't sure about downloading it. After that he hasn't used anything else. There are a great deal of restaurants obviously though this depends on where you live. Overall this app is pretty awesome and anyone hesitant of downloading this app don't be it excellent.

I'd like to start of by saying of the bat how amazing this app is, I have been using it for the last year and am proud to finally right a review clarifying my sheer respect and humble gratitude towards those who worked hard to give us an app so well designed. I promise you new users and old alike that this app offers you a variety of fast food chains which are both popular and a heaven for ones mouth. I promise you that once just eat is an anomaly among countless online fast food services which don't offer you a range of options nor an amazingly designed reviewing and rating system which doesn't leave your view unheard and unrecognised, as you the costumer are the sole priority, so dare I say farewell and enjoy a pleasant surprise which will leave you coming back for more. Sayonara!

Very easy to use, more so now that you can remove items in the basket at the swipe of a finger. More responsive, Have never encountered a problem whist using this application.

Would be good if navigation was integrated into the map section using your current location to get to restaurants more easily.

Also support for 3D Touch, recent orders, search by favourite cuisines. To make the app even quicker.

Another Potential idea? Businesses could upload images of dishes to show customer exactly what they are ordering if they haven't ordered that Dish before, "To eat something it has to look appealing", sadly this hasn't always been the case. This would save disappointment when order arrives.

Otherwise makes ordering food, a breeze when hungover or lazy days.

The word 'genius' is nonchalantly thrown around with such an abundance as to belittle its true meaning. But, to the founder of JustEat, you sir are truly a genius. The seemingly basic user-face belies an extraordinarily unique, exhilarating and exciting ordering platform. Your wish is its command. I have never been kissed by an angel but I can only imagine that it feels rather similar to ordering a meal through JustEat. Amongst the great inventions - fire, the wheel, the internal combustion engine, the cheese grater - this app is just as worthy of mention. Indeed, one could not possibly hope to recount the major triumph's of our race without acknowledging JustEat. This app is not only a superb platform through which to order food, it is my best friend.

The JustEat app makes ordering takeaways on the move an absolute breeze. With its clean, uncluttered interface and easy access to previous orders, it's even easier than ever to order your favourite food, directly from your iPhone.

It's clear to see that no shortcuts have been made in the development of this app. The UI is clean and intuitive, with easy access to everything you need. The response times are great, even when using mobile data that is far from 4G speeds.

Apple Push Notifications provide realtime updates on the status of your order, and so far I've found nothing to complain about with this app. I would have no reservations about recommending this app to my friends and family, and have no hesitation in rating this great app 5 stars.

A lot of people that complain about this app actually have issue with a specific takeaway restaurant, not the app itself. Just Eat is so much simpler than collecting paper menus from various places and finding out through trial and error which ones are worth your money. Just Eat features reviews, opening times, and the full menu as well as contact details for the actual restaurant should you have any issue. Unfortunately there is a 50p card charge, but I'd say that's a fair sacrifice given the app itself is free, and you could always pay cash to avoid the charge if you're really against it. The fact that the app saves your previous orders and ratings of said order is really helpful for reordering. Overall, a great and highly useful app.

Best thing since sliced bread, people complaining about paying 50p to pay by card - stop been lazy and walk to the cash machine or get a better job that pays more so you're not so hard up over 50p and drive to the cash machine or just pay the measly 50p! You pay for the convenience of not having to mess about going to the ATM which is well worth HALF A POUND! Using this app increases menu prices?? Again, go to the cash machine and order over the phone if you're that concerned about 50p. Also, another user has basically reviewed the takeaway he/she ordered from.... The issue wasn't the apps fault it was the fault of the takeaway... Take it up with them! First time I've used this app and I think it's sound!

Reading up on others reviews... No the app has no problems with it and the charge of using card is 50p, there is no other charge and I can't see how they're making money from it. I would like to see these reviewers to create a sore or shop and use card payments, they will also come to the same problem. If u can't afford to pay 50p for a conscience then u shouldn't be able to pay for a takeaway.

The app has no faults nor is it bad. My only suggestion is give the menu options abit more of a think cause some options are not there that customers would like. Eg extra whatever and minus whatever. Or even a note for specific items would be good.
Apart from that minor Nick pick I still will give the app 5*

I'm astonished with some of the poor reviews on here. I've used this service many times now and I'm hugely impressed. Once you have entered you address and card details for the first time ur only ever a few clicks away from delivery of your chosen food. The search facility allows you discover new take always in the area, identify those which have closed and allows you to search by take away type; once you select a restaurant you can instantly see the menu and price list selecting as u go. I regularly order from my local and its always delivered fresh as you like within 15 minutes (yummy Chinese in Washington). Can't really ask for more!

Never had any problems with this app, just make sure that when you order - put in the comments "tell me a joke" - the delivery driver will sometimes punch you in the face, which, to me, is pretty good customer service, I like being punched in the face.

But seriously, great app, I love the way you can also order monkey semen as an extra for FREE! Plus the fact that this app supports chemical testing on humans, I'm all for that, because how are we going to know in the future whether barilium affects humans if these guys don't do it?

I keep on trying to delete this app. But it has too many delicious food places on it. So basically, in 50 years time when I am old and bed bound and obese, all I need is this app. Until then, I am young and drunk and work stupid hours, and still all I need is this app. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that everyone everywhere needs this. They deserve this. Amazing food send straight to your door. YOU DESERVE THIS yum yumyumyum DOWNLOAD THIS APP. I promise it'll be the most delicious decision you ever make.

And if you ever wonder what you fancy, or aren't quite sure, have a full size Parmesan.

The app is brilliant.. Been reading some of the reviews and most of the issues lie between the restaurant it's self not the app the app. Also don't get why people are complaining about the 50p charge if you pay by card just pay with money if your that bothered with 50p? The app has to make money somehow it's completely flawless in my option. Don't get me wrong it could do with some more restaurants in my area but that isn't the apps fault just some restaurants are old fashioned and don't like the idea of it but got a variety of different ones on it now some of which without this app I hadn't even heard of.

Never had any problems such as refunds, when orders get canceled I received auto-refunds.

App does what it describes, fast, efficient ordering experience if that's required, and a more chill out take your time approach, of not having 'time outs'; offering either pay via app or by cash, the pay by app offers either card or on iPhone 6, as I'm aware of the Apple Pay option, which can suit having credit card on one and debit card on the other.

Over all I find the app fit for purpose, take away listings for area I also find agreeable, having sampled the various culinary delights that are listed.

Just eat has been an excellent service from day 1! I have been an official member since the early days before the app, and I think the app is absolutely superb, it has been flawless on my iPad Air and I have never suffered any issues and every update has been a lovely addition to features and layout working well and looking great. Just Eat has blossomed into a well defined company that provide an excellent customer service and I will continue to use them as long as they are around. Thank you. Ps add a video advert to make extra revenue, after order process of course as a gratitude option!

For more than two years I have been using the safari app on my phone to order from Just Eat as I had previous trouble using the actual Just Eat app and therefore deleted it.
Today, I decided to re-download the app and try it out....and I tell you what...it's just great. No problems ordering food, drinks and snacks. No problems with payment. The notifications are a great addition letting me know if the order was accepted and when the order was dispatched.
And surprisingly the app didn't crash once!! (Which was my biggest problem with the previous version).
11/10 would highly recommend

We have used this app for around 6 years and have only had 2 or 3 bad meals. Ultimately this isn't the fault of Justeat but the suppliers of the food.
Very easy to use, stores your data, you can choose payment method and you can add notes to your delivery.
Have seen other apps but wouldn't even bother as this has never let us down.
One thing, they used to give you points for £'s spent which you could redeem. They stopped this. Knowing they get kick backs from every order and there is competition for hungry house etc there should be a customer loyalty scheme in place

Luckily we live in a country were diversity has created a mass of curry houses, Italians, Turkish kabab shops, Chinese, tai and on and on and on. Just eat brings it all to you finger tips. My ideal Saturday is as follows; get the groceries,do the house work, go for a nice long walk with my kid and dog, pop into supermarket and pick up some real ales and whiskey, put my feat up in front of a movie after my son goes to bed and get onto just eat for a weekend binge. Thanks just eat for making 2015 awesome!!!!

I use Just Eat on a weekly basis and never had any issues. Unlike Hungry house that I used once to try and they deleted my bad review despite it being within their rules of feedback. Clearly they just like to mislead their customers. Just Eat all the way.

One thing I'd like to see is past reviews I've left for restaurants or being able to customise the list of available restaurants to exclude those that I've definitely ruled out based on a bad experience so I don't use them again by accident.

This app is great. You can choose credit or debit card or even cash on delivery for ways to pay. The only thing I seem to have a problem with and that's some of my orders don't get accepted. It's nothing to do with the app. It's the takeaways themselves. I think if they have a minimum order value it should state near the name of the takeaway. Oh and maybe a small write up of what the dishes are would help as I like to try new things and you can't judge if you like it by name alone.

JUST EAT is amazing! It makes my life so much easier and simpler, by just tapping a couple of times and then my order is done! I can order during my journey coming home, and by the time I arrive I don't need to wait any longer than 5 minutes. Previously, I had experienced some difficulties with re-ordering some orders which I had made before. However, after the latest update, I don't need to tap more than 7 times to get my order complete! Thank you for making such a fantastic app.
