First of all if you haven’t used Instacart yet make sure you use the coupon INSTA24 to get $10 off your first order with no delivery fee! Once you’ve signed up enter the coupon in the menu under account settings and then coupons. Might as well try it out since it won’t cost you much!
This service is great! I work crazy hours so going to the grocery store is exhausting. Being able to grocery shop from your phone makes life such a breeze. The app is easy to use and intuitive. I use the app as my shopping list by adding things to my cart as the week progresses, and then scheduling an order when I need to. There are times when the store I order from is out of something I ordered but if the possible replacement isn't available they are very good about verifying other options. One time I even gave feedback about the packaging for the fresh baked goods, not expecting anything, and they offered to redo and replace. And delivery was going to be on them. The prices are relatively close to in store, so really it's just the tip (10% of the order) and delivery fee which is usually about $5, it's a great choice if you think time is money!
I also really like their shared cart feature, allowing multiple people to add items to the same cart and then make an order all at once. Perfect for families or if you have roommates!
Overall you should definitely give it a try, especially with the $10 coupon I gave you!!
