I have always been a total failure at bagging sought after tickets when they're released, I get all nervous and fail miserably with the ReCaptcha, with my shaky, rushing hands. I usually get it wrong 3 times and lose valuable seconds, then find all the best tickets are sold out.

If you're on wifi, the Ticketmaster app takes out all of the hassle. No wonky words to type, no waiting for webpages to load as the servers struggle under the weight of thousands. As long as you're logged in and prepared - with your card details all saved on the Ticketmaster website, you can sail through in seconds as soon as the clock hits zero and the tickets go on sale.

I have just bagged standing Beyonce tickets in less than 1 minute, they had sold out in 2.

Forget the website, use the app!

Not so good on mobile Internet, but that's just due to the speed at which the app can access data- it's not Ticketmaster's fault.

Yes - if you allow it to use your current location when you download it then it will only give you places near where you are. But all you need to do is turn off the location service either through your general settings or on the 'more' option in the app. Using the 'more' option you can then put in your home
postcode (or any postcode for that matter) and it will suggest places closest to that postcode..simple.

I've never left a review for an app before but with the recent version of the Ticketmaster app, I felt I just had to!

This app is fast, accurate and clever! I love the simple but endearing features like adding a gig to your calendar, and how it scours your iPod for your favourite artists and then tells you when they're playing near you!

There are still a few bugs in the programming with a couple of crashes but nothing major and I'm sure further updates will fix. Thanks Ticketmaster!

I'm not sure if there's been a recent update since all the bad reviews but I've just downloaded it and it works perfectly. Signed in with no problems, browsed nearest venues and it's even loaded the upcoming events that I've bought tickets for. Haven't tried purchasing tickets on it yet but if the rest of its working fine then that's promising enough. Anyone who's given up with this one might want to give it another chance

I downloaded this app despite the negative feedback and have to say I'm pretty pleased with it! I've already discovered concerts in my area from artists that I didn't even know we're touring! It's great. I haven't had any problems with freezing and I've linked it with my online account so I can now keep up to date and be notified in advance when my favourite singers tickets go on sale so I stand a chance of getting some. :)

Able to buy ticket from the app! Not sure why there are bad reviews, they obviously aren't too bright. Could have a search function for types of event tho and would be nice to see available seats and then be able to choose a seat ?

The fact that is recommends artists based on your own iTunes music is really cool, plus you can delete artist but I am having trouble adding new ones

For the price (free) this is excellent!

Just used the app for the first time to book tickets for Emeli Sandé at FDA Leeds. The process was completed in only a few minutes. I have previously booked many concerts over the years using the on-line service and been massively frustrated. Big improvement TM!

Yes, yes, yes. So quick and so easy to use. Helped me bag Springsteen, Thunder, Quo tickets and much more. My go to site for tickets, and the app just makes it even easier! Well done TM!!

Such a convenient way to buy your tickets. Managed to get concert tickets as soon as the tickets were put on sale as the app did not freeze like the online website!

Very impressed! I hated the previous TM app/site. Now this is quick, easy and intuitive. Will definitely use regularly instead of avoiding as I did before!
