Deeper than most Virtual Card games

Shadowverse is actually pretty good, in my opinion. I have played a lot of virtual card games, so I have some perspective.

There are four things people should know about Shadowverse. First, Shadowverse has Japanese cartoon style artwork with all the story and character tropes that go with it. Second, this is a hero based card game like Hearthstone and most other modern virtual card games. Most of the cards you get from packs are exclusive to a particular hero class. Third, Shadowverse has almost no cards with RNG effects. While this reduces variance between each match, this means the game relies on your ability to use the cards you draw to win.

The final thing people should know is this game's most important mechanic called Evolve is where most of the game's strategy lies. Evolve effect allows you to boost your cards on the game field and attack with them immediately against enemy cards. This increases the game's emphasis on controlling the board.
