I can't even imagine how much work must have gone into this game. The polished graphics, the amazing attention to detail, the element of history, the finely-balanced economy of game currencies, the carefully measured pace of development which rewards skill and patience... there may be a few glitches here and there, but otherwise this is hard to fault.

Other than the obvious bug fixes, good ideas for future updates would be:
- Introducing the promised Space Age, along with extra "wonders of the world" (such as the Louvre Museum and the Sydney Opera House).
- Adding new nations, and maybe tweaking existing ones. An "Engineering" nation that can construct buildings slightly faster or for less cost would be a good idea.
- Lowering the damage done by heavy cavalry, which are now ridiculously overpowered. Or at least, updating the damage done by heavy cavalry mercenaries to match standard troops.
- Making further adjustments to Library technologies. "Hounds" ch 3 should lower the citizen requirement for hunting bears and boar. "Exploration" ch 3 should reduce the amount of time it takes to clear a forest by 20%. The original order of Library technologies should be restored, so that each research level has a perfect balance between food and gold.
- I'd love the ability to create multiple cities! That way, you could start a new game and try out a different strategy without losing your existing game.

Ok here is the short review, play the game!
The game starts off very fast paced and unlike its other rivals, the game keeps you actively engaged even when you're waiting for something to get done or built. The graphics are top notch and it looks beautiful.
It has a small but in depth form of customization as you level up, where you can chose what nation you wanna upgrade to and which wonder you wanna build and each of these come with their own unique set of stats and advantages.
The battle in over and pvp are quiet similar to clash of clans, although you do not lose your buildings and units when you get attacked instead you'll lose a portion of your resources. Also once you get invaded and defeated your "village" will become immune to invasion for a day unless you invade others during that time. This way you won't be a a target of multiple invasions In a row and lose all your resources.
The game does have an aspect of pay to win but at the end of the day every game in this genre does. Although I rarely see people that have done it also the prices on their "currency" is quiet cheap compared to other games.
Controls are smooth and you can easily play this on your iPhone.
Hope the game becomes more popular cause I don't wanna see it die under the shadow of clash of clans. By far it my favorite iOS game.

The game has huge potential. But prepare to be frequently locked out of your own profile. Prepare to lose your army, for no reason, without you even attacking anyone. Prepare to experience this daily. The game crashes frequently and if the game crash occurs while you're attacking, guess what happens to your army? All gone. Takes a long time and a lot of resources to build a new army. In this state, the game isn't worth investing money in, you have a chance of frequently losing everything for no reason. I loved rise of nations, and was excited for this. If you can't fix the crashes perhaps it's best to just remove the pointless deletion of armies when one wants to return home. And the deletion of armies for no reason. And the bugs that prevent alliances from being formed for some players. And the lack of support for the aforementioned problems. One day it might be worth spending money on. One day. Maybe.

It's a lot like Empire Earth in how you progress from Stone Age to Space Age.

The graphics are awesome and most game elements are finely balanced. However, the matchmaking seems a bit off. Often when I search for an opponent it will come up with a base that is way too advanced for me. Luckily I can just search again.

DomiNations is nowhere near as money hungry as other similar games on iOS, which is refreshing. From what I can tell you can only use Crowns to speed things up, not to buy resources etc. I don't feel obligated to fork out large amounts of my hard earned cash just to make any progress :)

I play DomiNations on the iPhone 6+ and so far have not experienced any crashing or bugs which other players have complained about.

In summary, this game is quite addictive and can easily keep you entertained for hours at a time. It's free, so download it and give it a fair go.

Finally a game that isn't a cheap reskin of clash of clans, the developer, Nexom, truly put the effort into making an enjoyable experience.
Unlike others I haven't experienced as many glitches and stability problems, occasionally dropping a spell in an undesirable location.
Honestly this game seems to have been produced by Bethesda, amazing quality but for some it seems that stability is a bit of an issue, they're probably just using an older device.

Definitely must get, honestly Nexom really did put in an effort to make the game an individual experience, eg. Ability to choose factions, for each player allowing the player to play the their strengths and develop their own strategies, Nexom really hit the ball out of the park with this one.

DomiNations is displaying all the right signs for a great app game; it is filled with dense content, is difficult to get bored of quickly and provides a gaming experience similar to those of big-name building games, like Age of Empires or Total War, just with the longer build times, which is standard for an app in order to control replay value. The sheer amount of customisation that one is bestowed upon in this game is extreme. You have the ability to pick out of seven different nations once reaching the Iron Age, each providing different benefits to suit anybody. Examples include Romans increasing army size and Greeks getting a cash refund on all buildings. Overall, DomiNations is amazing.

Absolutely great game....
The perfect mix between the easy gameplay of clash of clans and the more intricate customisation and role play aspects of Age Of Empires. This game is a thousand times better than the annoying and confusing gameplay of Game Of War. This game is perfectly balanced. This is the game I've been waiting for since I first got an iPhone.
I've been playing for a few weeks and even got my girlfriend into it and we both love it!
The only thing is that the developers need to keep in-game purchases optional and not make them required in order to progress in the game!
Whatever you guys are doing now, keep it up because this is the best game I've played on the App Store!!!

I downloaded this a week ago and it worked fine and I enjoy this game very much. But now this game has majorly glitched out! My base was up to the Iron Age , placing new buildings and clear long forests...but whenever I try to play it sends me back to the dawn age. My base layout is somewhat still there but the buildings are set back to level 1, the forests have went back to where they would be at the beginning and the buildings from the later ages are now gone! I've rated this game 5/5 cos it's a great game but unfortunately I've run into this mishap. I've put plenty of hours into this game so if someone could help fix this by updating it so I can play this awesome game!

The game is a new look on games such as clash of clans and what not. It still needs a few polishes but so do most games so I'm not bothered by it!
But.. If you would like suggestions

- building upgrades pictures should show what they look like next instead of how they look at level 1.
- sometimes the loading screen gets stuck and does not progress to home.

That is 2 of many I have found.

But guys and gals do not let let this deter you from trying the game it's an awesome game that lets you think strategically and at the same time enjoy the game!

Been playing Dominations just over a month now and enjoying every minute of it, the game takes its gameplay based off the popular mobile app Clash of Clans I have played clash but when I played Dom its gets everything right that clash didn't get right, it's a great game and worth the downloaded for its gameplay and its experience, the only negatives that I notice that is alone my own views that the game does have some matchmaking issues but overall this game offers a flawless experience for players.

Brilliant game but it would be nice if-
-you could pick up entire sections of your town and move it as opposed to moving it pieces.
-Or anything that takes up to five minutes should only cost one crown.
-and maybe reduce the time it takes to upgrade or build.
Definitely needs an update as well. I replayed one of my battles and it said I was in the enlightenment age were actually I've just moved into the gunpowder age. Hence the reason why people way higher in levels can attack me!!!!

Finally a game that is like Clash of Clans but it real not fake with some random sci-fi stuff. Anyway, this game is definitely top notch stuff. The only improvement i would suggest is too add a technology tree on your main website so we know what the next buildings look like but it's not a problem at all, just something to consider in the future when the game is better than Clash (even though i think it already is). BEST RTS GAME EVERRRRRRRR!! KEEP THE UPDATES COMING! :D

I have read a lot of reviews said this game is buggy. This game did well at all aspects. And to all of those report game bugs, when you see a circle spinning at the centre of the screen, that means you are not connecting well and trying to connect. All the game progress at this moment will not guaranteed to saved. Stay there until the circle disappear then you will be fine. I am in a age behind the current highest age, I have never engage any bugs AT ALL.

Been waiting for ages for this update which has finally let me load & play the game!!
It's the only game i've ever kept waiting for a fix, normally i delete & game's forgotten about.

I have a habit with downloading apps and when they are not good enough I'll just delete them. However, I don't think I'll ever delete this game! Why? Because it is simply amazing, the graphics are just outstanding and I love how you have to be strategic etc. I'm disappointed in the Jurassic World app because I can't download it, so thank you to the amazing team you created this app so I can play it on my Ipad gen 4 unlike the Jurassic World app.

Big Game studios, I really think this game is good, but it function to much like clash of clans that is dominating. So I would suggest that you still work on this game but start thinking about an iOS version of the Rise of nations. That game is the best game of its kind, an iOS version, even if it's turn based. Would be the mobile game that would change everything and I think you guys could do it.

Can't. Stop. Playing. Same game mechanics as lots of other games out there (Clash of Clans, This Means War!, Boom Beach, Age of Empires, just to name a few). DomiNations is better than most of them.

Has in app purchases but you can happily play for hours without buying anything with real money. They don't deliberately dampen your gaming experience and dangle premium currency in your face.

Thoroughly enjoyable.

Great game, love the age of empires type game play. I found getting to choose which nationality you would like to be is fantastic and all the different choices you get to make throughout the game to determine how you'll hold up against others. Also the waiting times on upgrading I found rather short and generous cause let's be honest no likes to wait. Overall I love this game and give it a 5 star <3

This game is so awesome my head is gona explode, PLZ add a nuther hunting animals such as -monkeys - gorillas - tigers - ant nests - I would like a building that is calld animal house or Zoo and U find pandas in the jungle and UTHER qute creatures first the building starts of with 3 animal U can put them in them upgrade it and it goes 2 5 animals then 7 then u got a ZOO thnk U if u read this .

Its awesome but you should make a mode where your two armies fight on an battlefield with your barracks spawning troops at a steady rate and theirs on the others side. you can build towers and ballistas and defensive things with coins on the battlefield and you get coins by killing other troops, this would be the most amazing mode and would give dominations the edge over other strategy games.
