This game is a rhythm and card game mix. There are currently only 4 rarities, meaning having a deck full of Rare cards only is not bad and is more than enough to rank A+ on Hard mode (depending on your skill level; you can also adjust the speed of the notes according to your playstyle).

The gameplay is simple--not too flashy or confusing to distract your attention when hitting a note. For newbies regarding rhythm: stick to easy and normal for now. Practice makes perfect after all.

Money-wise: the game provides plenty of premium currency in game. A Love Stone (the cash currency) costs $0.99, and it costs 5 Love Stones to do special scouting, which can also include a Rare. So $5 for just a Rare isn't worth it imo. The chance for SR and UR is LOW; however, during certain events an SR card is guaranteed if you can save up 50 Love Stones (which, again, is easily obtainable in game). You also get a free card if you spend 50 at once, then 5 each time. Also the more Love Stones you purchase, the lower the price. 15 Love Stones = $9.99;; so it's not a bad deal if you don't mind saving up $10 for three cards (Rare at most, sometimes SR, and maybe UR if you're lucky).

I love playing this game and have spent many hours into it. I would recommend anyone who enjoy rhythm tapping music game to get this game (especially if you are into anime as well). Although it takes a while for you to be able to play songs and unlock all the songs because this game is based on a FTP model, I think that's the more reason why it's very rewarding when you beat a song or progress more into the game. It may be hard to come by loveca stones (the in game currency to refresh your energy, continue a failed song or unlock rare characters), but I guess that's why it feels so good when you find a very good character (though it depends since the card system is based purely on chance). One thing that I hope is that the developer will add more content such as songs and characters to the game. You might notice the English version of the game is behind the Japanese version. I will be extremely glad if the developers can finish localizing the nearer versions. Anyways, this game is great and super addicting. The smooth gameplay, catchy music, and interesting characters will have you coming back for more. Thanks for reading :)

This game is fantastic, and I love how the girls look. Although there are glitches, I love how the songs are made. I've been playing for 2 months and I really love the game. It's so addicting, I sometimes sleep later because I would play the songs. But, please do something like a no glitch when you are playing the song, because it's so frustrating having to lose my combo.
This game is awesome, it just needs some updates that don't count on bugs, but lag. Also wondering that it said that if you wanted to buy some Lp or something, you have to get your guardian or parents permission? I'm just saying, why do you need to get their permission? But, yea, you ask for the money, but why to you have to ask them to look into it?
Those are some problems, and I really do love this game, it's the best. But please update with these problems and I will be very happy. And I have hear other reviews say the same thing, so thank you if you do so.

Never have I been a big fan of rhythm games before. I always thought guitar hero was stupid and repetitive considering all you did was press buttons to match the colored buttons going down the screen. I decided to give this game a shot because I really liked the anime, which you should really watch if you haven't already. This game blew my mind as well as my wallet with its catchy songs straight from the anime, its surprisingly in depth way you can level up your teams to get better scores on the songs, and the addictive card portion which makes me want to buy all of the things haha. By no means is there a paywall blocking off free users from enjoying this game either, and neither is spending money a guaranteed way of assuring victory. Not a day has gone by that I have not played this game since I bought it so I can definitely speak for its addictiveness. The new update adds a lot of aesthetic perks that make the game look a lot nicer and is probably the best update yet. I highly recommend to give both this app and the anime a shot, even if you do not particularly like idols.

It's really hard for me to find a game I really like, and even if I like them; I end up just getting over the game in about a week. But I've been playing this game nonstop for a while now.
The great things about this game:
1. The music is really good
2. DDR for your fingers (:
3. It's challenging but not so much. With a little practice you get better
4. You can do other things rather than only the DDR portion which makes the game more fun
5. The characters are incredibly cute which makes me feel happier lol
6. You don't have to pay for things. I mean you could but you're also left with the option of not to.

Only thing I would have to "complain" about is how little your energy thing is. If you play a harder level, you can really play about 3-4 songs until you have to wait; though it doesn't bother me so much anymore. Also the directions are very vague .. I pretty much had to figure things out by myself

Oh my gosh, I can't even explain how much I love this game! It's like dance dance revolution for your fingers, but with a storyline. The songs are super fun and catchy, so replaying songs 40+ times (yeah, I'm one of those people who have to have S's across the board...on every song) is actually fun, eater than annoying and tiresome. There are no forced in-app purchases. I recommend listening with headphones! Love love love this game!! One update request: can you please make it so that i can control the video quality? Even with blocking pop ups for the live show, my game will still skip and freeze when playing songs on hard (because there's so much going on, it kind of overloads) and my perfect combos will get messed up! Which forces me to lose the LP for the attempt, and is just all around frustrating...this is my only complaint. If I could just turn down the graphics to a lower quality in order to not freak out my phone, that would be great!

I cannot stop playing this game. I'm only rank 23, but I have been playing for a week straight and I play once I wake up, while I'm eating, and right before I go to sleep. I am sure I will be spending all my money on this game once I need to. Wow... This game is really something. I have never watched the anime, but this is the greatest rhythm game I have ever seen on iPhone. I can't stop playing and the songs are really catchy. However, there is one thing I wish was improved. When pausing the game, it returns straight to the song and you don't have time to get ready. I wish there was some kind of 3 second pause, like in Temple Run (haha, who plays that anymore?) before you play. I received a call while playing and the song paused, but when I returned I lost my full combo because I wasn't prepared and didn't see the beats. Otherwise, this is the best and worst game ever because it's ruining my life. ☺️

I absolutely love this game, big fan of Love Live, and it's so so satisfying getting the characters I love
The songs are great, and the rewards and gameplay are also well done
The ONLY 2 issues I have are 1) this bug that happens 50% of the time when I play, the first song I do decides to freeze for like a fifth of a second midsong, and believe it or not has caused some serious frustration, one time being that I had to play a song 7+ times because the first time I did it the glitch ruined my perfect at the end of a song the first time I tried to play it. And then 2) is a much lesser issue, I just feel Love Gems are too overpriced, but not too much just a tad like 1 Gem shouldn't cost a dollar, and as good as a deal 50 for 30$ is, it's just too much. I'm not paying 30$ for 11 virtual cards, as rare as they are, half of them tend to be repeats of repeats
But other than those 2 issues, fantastic game. 5/5

Even without having seen Love Live! before, this game is still really fun to play. It's a nice twist on the typical rhythm game, what with being able to put together your own groups and level up the members. The idolized outfits are really cute, too! The game is really fun (and addictive, so to speak). It's definitely worth the time.

The interface is great, the sound quality is perfect, the storyline is interesting, the beatmaps for the songs are solid, etc. I recommend it.

My only complaint is that sometimes push notifications (of any kind, for example a text message) sometimes freeze the game and could potentially cause issues in a Live Show. In my case I've failed a show before because of this; I got three texts and the game froze every time which caused me to miss notes.

Otherwise, it's an amazing game that definitely lives up to the Love Live! anime itself. Give it a try!

I really cannot recall how I stumbled across this gem, but this game is superb!

The music is catchy, and no matter if it's the 5th or 50th playthrough of a song, I do not grow tired of it.

Everything is pretty straight-forward. Play the lives using your Love Points and tap the circles to the beat. But there's more! There are stories and side-stories! You get to level-up your characters, and scout (a.k.a "collect") rare characters! It even features the original voice actors of the anime series!

I had heard of the Love Live! anime, but I didn't pay to much attention to it. After putting in a couple of hours into this game, I decided to check out the anime, and I wondered why didn't I get into this fandom sooner!

I like this game. The gameplay is on point - no delayed reaction/timing issues, music is upbeat and fun, and then there's Maki. She's da number one idol in the entire world! Ahem, perhaps I need to take a break...but I don't wanna.

Although everything about this game is fine and dandy now, getting started was a bit of a bumpy road for me. All the bright and colorful options sort of put me in a daze. Too many shiny buttons! But you get use to it.

I can see myself playing this game until my fascination with idols wears off.

I really love this game. It's a very fun rhythm game with catchy music. You aren't forced to purchase song packs like I've seen in other rhythm games. You progress through the story and unlock songs. Plus, there is a cool trading card system that adds more depth to the game. I want to collect all the cards and unlock all the back stories!

It's bonus fun if you watch and love the anime!

I downloaded this game cause a friend of mine was really excited for it and now I can't stop playing. The game gives you so much to do. You can earn the cash currency rather easy. It makes the game really fun and if you play regularly, aka always using your free lp, you will never feel like you have to spend money on it.

I found out this game thanks to the advertisements that FB does , and I can say that is one of the best game I ever played. I recommended the game to my friend a few weeks ago and now he's better than me. He beats EXP. in perfect sometimes he makes combo of perfect. Is such a fun game I can say!

This game looks great and doesn't get stale. It's not challenging enough to deter you, just enough to keep it interesting. You really don't have to pay anything to enjoy the game because the love gems are given away so much.

This is definitely a hidden gem. Easily one of the funnest games out there. Very easy to play, especially for people who haven't seen Love Live. But after playing I immediately watched it on Crunchyroll!
