My city is filled with parking meters that are monitored 7x24. I would be lost without this app, which accommodates and recalls multiple license plate numbers, previously used locations and credit card info -- and keeps me from having to lug around bags of quarters.
The app is quick and easy to use, and it embeds its modest service fees into each parking transaction while making the cost transparent. I find this very convenient and prefer the "pay as you go" approach to a subscription fee.
Location numbers on participating meters are clear and readable from inside the car, depending on how you happen to park. Quite often I have prepaid my parking before ever leaving the car. Another really nice touch is the text warning that comes five minutes before your parking expires, giving you time to refill the meter and avoid an expensive parking ticket. Love it -- an all-around superb app!

I'm not sure what the previous person was talking about, but this app works a treat. Yes there is a service charge, but this should be known to anyone who has used the service and read the terms. Personally I am very happy paying a small premium in order to be able to receive a reminder text and remotely top up my parking. No more tickets for me, which is a worry off my shoulders. For the sake of the little extra, it makes a big difference using the app. Also to actually rate the app, I'm giving it 5 based on service, not 1 because I can't read the Ts&Cs -- ie. nothing to do with the app.

Plus, no more rolls of quarters needed! My gym bag used to be full of change rattling around, not any more!!

Prior to this app, I was always the person frantically digging for change and never finding sufficient coins to pay for parking. The small surcharge to pay via this app is totally worth the reduced stress. Being able to add on time from wherever you happen to be (aka no running out in the middle of dinner to feed the meter) right from your phone is a huge convenience. The app is pretty user friendly. It would be great if you could upload a photo of your meter's number and not have to key it in. Otherwise it's really simple to use.

This app has made my life easier. And that's all I can ask from an app. Whoever thinks it's not polished or designed enough, I beg to differ. It asks you three things: block number (visible wherever there is a parking station), car, and minutes. Since I'm normally running late, this simple 3-step system lets me pay for parking WHILE I'm running to my destination. No more standing at the machine, waiting for bank authorization. Done and done!! I highly recommend this (and have) to everyone I meet.

Others complain that it doesn't remember locations but I actually park at different places all over the city for work so that's fine for me. I guess it can't be made for just one type of user so it's generic enough that all users can use it.

Personally, anything is better than digging around for change and even better, this pretty much eliminates the hassle of the max time limit posted. As long as you keep adding money you can use a metered spot for as long as you need it. Love it!

I read some other reviews citing this app as not user friendly, clunky and primitive. Perhaps I'm fortunate, as I haven't had any issues, and I've been using it for well over a year. No connectivity issues, no clunkiness. The app was simple to set up, simple to change which vehicle I'm paying for (we have 2), and it was very easy to update license plates, too. Consider me a happy customer. Additional info: I'm using an iPhone 5S, and my husband's is an iPhone 6.

This is a great way to park faster, not wait in line under the sun, not waste paper, add more time if you're still at a place and don't want to leave yet because parking expired so this way city makes more money and I myself along with other who would agree don't get a ticket. The rates are good but could even be a little bit lower for people who use it a lot like me. In other words it's all good. This app works great for me so you must have it too.

I was surprised to see so many negative reviews. I have been using for about 6 months and have never had a problem. It works easily and flawlessly. It is so much more convenient than hassling with a parking meter with coins or a credit card. The fact that I can extend the time without returning to the meter is an added bonus. The service charge seems minimal. In short, I am very grateful for this app as it makes my life easier.

I am grateful the city has approved Pay By Phone parking. It has most assuredly prevented me from getting tickets. It works fine for me. In sure people who are more tech savvy could streamline it and make it even more user friendly, but it's much easier then paying the meter, getting a sticker that dirties your window later then having to come back and feed it again, so in my book, it's a win.

People complaining about this being boring and repetitive? What do you think this is, a game?

This app lets me get to the station and not have to worry about brining $4 to stuff in the box.

If I am running late, I can head right on the train and pay when I settled.

I even once had a rental, inputted the new license plate and paid for my parking without issue.

Quite honestly i'm not one to review ANYTHING but this app deserves a 5 star review. I've had this app for roughly 6 months and use it quite often. Very easy to use, hassle free. You can always go back and extend the time saves a lot of time. Never had problems processing a payment or getting billed twice. I love it and i am grateful it was made.

To think you don't have to stand in the heat anymore waiting for a computer to reject your dollar bills or your credit card. This app makes everything easy and convenient. Just take your phone where your going and pay with app. Credit card stored in the app! Also it text's you when you run out of meter time! Excellent!

I park at meters every day and I was so ecstatic to give up coins. Easy to use and set up preferences. Love the option to have receipts emailed as these are work expenses. Hope that future development includes a better recognition of the meters I use a lot (maybe have a favorites list) and a GPS would be awesome.

Easy to use, supports multiple cars and no car or credit needed at every location. Other reviews complain about payment options, but that's totally up to the city or parking location. I love that the same app works at cities everywhere. Some locations allow time extension directly from the app.

Love it. It is a so convenient. I mostly live that it reminds me when my parking is due and all I have to do is hit a few buttons and I'm done! Gone are the days that I had to figure out when I had to put money in the meter, going out to my car and pray I had enough coins! Life changer!

I use the app every weekday to pay for parking at commuter rail stops on the Boston area commuter rail. It works great and is more convenient than the manual pay stations. A monthly parking pass wouldn't work for me because I need to park at different stations on different days.

There are many terrific things about this app. Convenience is one its greatest attributes. You could be sitting at a cafe five blocks from your car and the app notifies you the meter is about to run out. Tap your phone a few time and the meter is replenished. Fabulous!

Works great and reminds you before your time is up, and allows you to extend the time from your phone. If the cops give you a hard time you can easily print a hard receipt from your computer. Here's a tip: don't leave the car until you finish with the app.

I'm so glad the transportation system decided to use this app for the parking lot. It saves so much time since I can pay ahead of time. The app is so easy to use and the notification system is great so I can never be late when my time is almost up.

This latest app release is awesome. So many cool new features. It's clean, easy to use, and lightening fast. Love the countdown, reminders, ability to take a photo of your vehicle, and scan a credit card, although I use Apple Pay.
