TextNow: Call + Text Unlimitedの評価・口コミ・レビュー [iPhone]

I have tried a number of Texting Apps on the market, and many have some cumbersome interface that makes texting impractical. There are no ads to contend with to limit the real estate of the screen. The interface is set up like the integrating texting mechanism on the iPhone and from the user's perspective, operations are seemless. For the price, this app serves as having the best value since there is a ONE TIME fee of $4.99, unlike others who charge an annual fee. Conversations are kept appropriately in the user's profile on the app. Additionally, there are included backgrounds and ringtones that allow for customization. There is the in-App purchase option to get additional backgrounds and ringtones allowing the user to identify based upon the rington who is texting you. AND unlike other apps that are available on the App Store, the developer has a website that gives ongoing customer support which is updated with regularity. As of now, the app does not support MMS. I hope it does in the future (however, it is not my main mode of communication). Don't let me speak for this app, for myself. I was just as skeptical before purchasing this. I read the reviews on the App store and read the thread on the MacRumors website. Research this for yourself and decide. I made my decision and I am glad I did. The attention to detail and ease of use makes this app a MUST BUY.

Please revert this app to an earlier version, one from roughly a year ago! This app was amazing when I first got it about a year ago, but now the authors keep making what they call "improvements". Now it crashes and glitches constantly. Every time i click on the icon, it opens to the text now logo and then crashes, when i open it the second time it does the same this, i have to repeat this process 3 or 4 times before it works! When it final opens up correctly, it shows that you are looking at a conversation but everything is missing, sometimes it shows up and sometimes I have to do a forced shut down. Other times it just doesn't respond and then crashes. I cant send pictures anymore, and i usually don't get them either. It used to be awesome and never did this! What happened?
I used to love this app but now I hate it because it never works right and every time they "fix" it, it gets worse. I sincerely wish they would just undo all these changes so that it will function again. It used to be a wonderful app that worked perfectly all the time, but now I can't stand to use it more than I have to. Now, the only reason I keep it around is because this is the only way i can keep in touch with two or three of my friends.

This is by FAR my most used app I have 2 iPods and 3 accounts and couldn't ask for more!! My friends are always complaining that I use up all there text time because they use some phone plan and I don't think about the fact I'm unlimited but that seems like a personal issue I can't help that they can't figure out that this is the way to go ;) I have ONLY a few minor issues I wish my (actually Text Nows emojis) would show up on other Texts (no text now) and that my messages would push or show wether I opened the actual app but as I said minor! I have recommended this app 100's of times and will continue to do so especially to those using other WiFi based texting services that leave that "this text was sent for free from blah blah" I REALLY HATE THAT! One last thing the newer version is.... How do I say this nicely... FLAWED I can't send messages to numbers that I I should be able to- or at least I can with the classic!! Bravo to any and all who had ANYTHING to do with this miraculous app but please keep improving to make things better love the voicemail, signature, wish call forwarding was cheaper but I Guess no ones perfect but all should strive to be... Finally you can text on your iPod touch for free! I've seen other apps on the market that range from $0.99 to like $4.99! That's crazy! You can either buy the silver or the gold or something like that with those apps. This is the best app because it's free and all you need is wi-fi. There's wi-fi everywhere! I picked up wi-fi in the grocery store! And wait, what about that phone icon up in the right corner? Yep, you guessed what it is-calling for low prices! I'm thinking about buying some minutes for it. I already have a prepaid cellphone, but it's a piece of garbage! This is just like an iPhone! What more could you possibly ask for! That's right-picture messaging! You can also send pictures with it! Who in the world wouldn't buy this app if they don't have a phone? I hope to get the iPhone in like a year or something because then you can text anywhere! This is a great starting app if you don't have one! Everybody should buy this! I told all my friends to and not a single one didn't like it! There were like 10 people I told! I gave them all my numbers and we texted each other for free! Love it!

When I got the upgrade to ios5 me and my friend couldn't find a way to text. So we both kept searching the App Store and got like 8 apps. None of the apps worked for either of us. So on Wednesday night I was feeling all sad that me and my friend had no way of communication. So I just went into the Top 25 and just kept scrolling down until I found this one app that we didn't try. So, the next day when I went over her house, I showed her the app. We set the app up and then tested it. The first few times it didn't work and I wanted to just cry, but then one of her texts showed up and we were jumping up and down. Ever since then this app made our dreams come true.
Who would have thought that a texting app could bring friends even closer than they were?
We were in the same class in 3rd grade and now we are not in 4th so this is the app that made us so happy to be able to keep in touch with each other not only in school!
Totally recommend this app, it brought 2 friends closer together.

There are some things that you have to delete on there when you first start out, but I don't mind. But, I just went to Canada, well technically Toronto, Ontario, and my older brothers' phone didn't work, so did my mom, and dads phone! Only mine worked for texting, but u could check on everything. You can call, but you need credits, but I rarely call people. It may be hard to get to first text someone, but after a while, it can work! I love how I can use this app if I am home alone, it anywhere. But my only complain is, you need wifi to text or call. But you can just buy something for like $4-$8.00. So I am fine with it. It is perfect for me now because I can keep in contact with everyone. I also can't believe that it is FREE!!! I use it every day, and it is a fine app, so if you are reading this, please get this app! You will enjoy this to text in and call on!

I've had this app for roughly two years, and during that time it has served me very well. I use it as a texting app, as I have an iPod and cannot text my non-Apple-user friends. However, I am just now realizing that the call option is sincerely free for phone numbers in the United Statea of America and Canada. I always thought that the credits displayed in the top corner of the menu bar were the credits I had for overall calling, but it turns out those are simply credits for international calling. For those of you that need to be able to call internationally and have no desire to pay outrageous amount of money for that ability, TextNow offers cheap in-app purchases for credits, but also offers video you can watch to earn credits for free, as well as tasks you can complete to earn even more credits. This is a great app and I highly recommend it.

The features are beyond all I can use . I have seen people too over loaded with info - to move forward. The use of keyboard, allows full sentences . U know -noun-verb-subject etc. !
How many people have you read about $200,000 earners fired -for Twittering their lives into disaster. Try full sentences and read what you send --ASK YOUR SELF [WOULD I LIKE TO GET THIS NOTE-IN MY INBOX] HARD ON PROBLEMS -SOFT ON PEOPLE. This makes the world better. :-)

I love this app I use it like every day because I don't have to pay to call and text but there's one problem when ever I try to earn more credits by watching short vids it says like every time you earned 2 credits but when I went to watch another vid (by the way I so far have 43 credits) it always says you have 43 credits even though I earns 2 more credits so it should 45 credits. When I went to the home but before that next to my phone number it said 45 credits now when I went back to earn more credits it said that I have 43 credits. Can you please fix that I love this app so much that I don't want to delete it.

also...what does the u.s. iTunes app store have against system optimizer apps, system memory refreshing apps, & battery boosting apps?
seriously!
every time i find one that does it all, inevitably the app store phases it out.
these types of utilities are readily available in every other store, but not in the u.s. store.
it's as though apple doesn't want it's customers to be able to enjoy the benefits of this type of utility, and they don't have the right to decide that for their customers.
(and yet they have done just that)
hasn't anyone out there noticed this?

I am really impressed with the quality of this app. It is very easy to set up. It generates a new number for you, but can access your contacts so you don't have to do it manually. My son had no service since we took him off our plan. We were going to check out other plans this weekend, but not anymore. Texts and calls go through instantly to whomever you call. The only thing I'd like is to change the ringtone for making calls. There is a nice variety of sounds for notifications and as a plus, you can choose a wallpaper for the text screen. I recommend it.

This app is amazing! I enjoy it! I love being able to call and text! The one thing I'm concerned about is the adds. Or the sale notifications. I will delete them but they will come back. It really bothers me. And the adds when I'm texting someone at the bottom. That bothers me too because I'll send a message and then when she/ he texts me it will somehow go to that add. I would love if you guys could take the add off of here please and thank you!! But other wise this is the best texting/calling app!!

I have and I Pod touch and my parents and older sister have a Samsung, not Apple. So this is a really good app to use force r texting them. They have you sign up first and than they give you a #. And from then on you can put in a phone # and you can text with no limits. It's AMAZING!!!! Get the app. You can call but you have credits which you have to earn and how many credits you have is how many minutes you can call. That's the only flaw but over all it's an AMAZING app. GET IT NOW!!!

Love it! So much fun to use and so easy! I can text all my family members for free and my parents don't have to pay a fortune!!! My friends are all like "what???!!!" when I text them and say it's free! I just wish that it would have better emojis so that when I text someone that it would show up the way it shows me, and that I would get more credits because I called my dad on time and it said I need more credits and I don't know how to earn more? But that's all and I just love it!!!:)

Great app!!! But would it be possible for you guys to make a "slide to answer" feature for calls and such? It would be just great. Other then then the texts are fast and with the new update its soooo convenient. Call quality is great as well, I've never had a call drop or lag and I'm on an old iPhone 5 so that's sayin somethin. Keep up the good work guys I love your app. If ads are needed to keep the service free then keep them ads coming cuz I like this free service!

I have to give this app it's props! Free calls within the US and free texting. It's too much to believe but it's true and if you want the whistles it's very inexpensive. I think it's perfect for a delivery driver who has to call customers and wants to keep anonymity, and not inconvenience people with a blocked number. Also great if you've cancelled your cellular carrier and have a good access to free wi-Fi. I definitely recommend this app.

I like the app in all its very useful ... But I have an third generation iPod and there should be no need for me to have to use earphones with talking speakers on it do u know how much that

cost... And upgrade it to call people without wifi I know have one like that but make it for third generation ...and send me an email back because I really need yaul to do that because you'll get more money by making it that way thanx and have a nice day

I ran out of text messages with good ol Verizon. Rather than upgrade my plan or get a crazy bill, I got this app and it saved me $$$. I text more than I talk, especially for work. This app came in handy!!! Can't beat free text messaging and unlimited ones at that! This app saved my ways of communicating, both business and social wise! It didn't get the best service at times but who am I to complain. Love this app!

I'm very pleased with TextNow. Messages come through fast and can be sent fast. I've had no problems whatsoever. Unlike many other texting apps that require Facebook or Twitter info, TextNow only requires a email address. I hate signing up for anything using Facebook or Twitter, so the fact that all I need is a email makes me thrilled. Like I said, no problems whatsoever. Worth the download.

I use the app to communicate with all of my friends and family at home while I am overseas to avoid an outrageous phone bill. It works great and I use it almost everyday. Also the. call feature is useful for when I want to give someone my phone number but don't want to give out my private cell; business, online dating, etc. the number can be changed at any time. It's great.
