This should be a model for e-magazines

When people ask me why I own an iPad, this is the app I show them first. The most current issues have interactive links, added content (including HD video clips), and expanded photo galleries, among others. Subscriptions are not more expensive than the print version as print subscribers can download issues for free. There is a free issue available to test but you have to scroll down to the bottom of the display of issues to find it. I didn't see at first but it is there. Unfortunately, it pre-dates the issues where the neat added content is available. I did have trouble getting started but after some effort everything worked out. The app seemed to be in an 'Updating library' mode and would not exit this but after a day or two it stopped and all my issues were available. One tip - the files are large. I found I had to go to the iPad settings area to tell the iPad to never go into sleep mode. If the iPad does go into sleep mode or you exit and go to a different app, the download stops.
