【Charlie Hebdo.】評価/口コミ・レビュー [iPhone]

I have used the app to read Charlie Hebdo for the first time, and the English version works well. For those of you complaining about the size of the text, you can pinch to zoom the print to enlarge. You can go back and forth between the cartoon picture and the English translation pretty easily. I hope this isn't the only edition that will be in English. I'm happy to support the writers and cartoonists, and I hope future issues will also have the English translation available. If the developers make the newsweekly available in many languages, I'm sure Charlie Hebdo will be successful for many years to come.

I downloaded the English version, but all I found was French. I guess I should have read the directions: Click on each cartoon or article, and the English translation appears. As for readability, on iPad, the translated text is coming through clearly (high-resolution), but on iPhone 6P, the translated text is coming through illegibly (low-resolution) (font size is too small, then I try to magnify, but is too blurry to read). I guess I'll be reading it on iPad.

Désabonnée à Charlie Hebdo depuis trop longtemps depuis mon expatriation, quel bien de pouvoir vous relire, mais si certains d'entre vous manquent terriblement.

Seul bémol: les dessins devraient être scannés avec une plus haute résolution. Certaines bulles ne sont pas faciles à lire.

I was excited to see this in the English version but when I downloaded it it was in French.
Upgrading my review. There is an English translation. Double tap each cartoon or article and zoom in. It's there. I'm delighted to be able to read and support Charlie Hebdo.

The layout feels natural, the magazine itself is hilarious and thought-provoking, and who wouldn't want to support Charlie these days? I can't speak to the translated versions, but the french is a must buy.

I got the English version and there are translations for all the cartoons and articles obtained just by tapping on them. I just read the first article and I totally agree. Just great! Thanks!

As an American, I support our French allies and understand the importance of freedom of speech.
A note about the English version: you have to touch the article to get an English translation.

This is exactly what I was looking for since the print edition is impossible to find and I do not speak French. The English translation is very helpful and easy to use, even on the cartoons!

You get to see the original French issue. To translate, tap - then zoom. Works just fine for the English version. Be aware it states future issues will only be "en français"

Keep up the good work! Stay brave, and honest! Never give in to the hateful cowards! Keep publishing and telling the truth about this violent religion!

While Charlie Hebdo is not for everyone, the provocative content is refreshing, it tackles hard subjects and starts animated discussions. Merci les gars!

I can't speak to problems with the English version, but the French is great, highly visual and certainly worth the price.
