This game is perfect and I'm not just saying this as a long time Dragonball fan. I've read the other reviews saying that Dokkan Events are too hard and that the summon system is garbage, but there's nothing wrong with it, Bandai Namco can't help it if you sink you're entire paycheck into buying an in-game currency, that's your choice. I haven't spent a single cent on Dragon Stones and I have almost 20 UR characters and the New LUR Gogeta. It wasn't easy to get the LUR Gogeta either, but then again it's not supposed to easy, they can't just hand you a medal meant for awakening the strongest characters in the game. In short everyone needs to stop complaining about it being too hard, it's supposed to be hard that's the point of a game it's supposed to be a challenge.

In most F2P games you can expect to get a character maybe once a day at best, some even make you save up for weeks to get anything good. Dokkan Battle doesn't, it gives you tons of ways to get lots and lots of fighters even as you get deeper into the game.

Combat is fun, both it and map navigation are two different puzzle systems that you can easily understand and have fun with constantly. Animations are flashy and exciting and the soundtrack is great.

Stamina running out can put a damper on playtime if you're wanting to grind through an event or just run out, but it replenishes relatively quickly and leveling up refills it fully, which is easier to do than you'd think.

I'm looking forward to more content and cards, and hoping they eventually add pvp!

I've been playing about a week now and can't put it down! I see some people complained about not being able to use super moves because they can't get the right colored balls to come up; it's all about strategy! Once you see how the balls move forward after each turn, you can figure out which one you need to collect to get the ones behind it to move forward and be in a row. But I really enjoy this game because you need to strategize between moving on the game board and when fighting opponents to make sure you use the right color character to defend and the right color balls to attack.

My only complaint is I want more levels! But I know the game is fairly new so I'll have to wait patiently and just play the events for a while...

I love this game it is an amazing game but like all the other people are saying it's tough to get dragon stones and the pull rates for really good cards at atrocious so here's what I'm thinking and people can just disregard this review of support it its up to them but I think bandainamco should up the pull rates a small bit just so it's not impossibly hard to pull and when you do the anniversary events and things like that I think you should do a (for a few hours only) double dragon stones like when you do a story mission if you haven't completely cleared it yet you get two dragon stones instead of one and make more missions that are easier to do and less time consuming but that's purely just an opinion from a supporter like me

The game is extremely addicting especially as a dbz fan. The best pros to mention are the amazing variety of characters with different stages of almost all the characters acting as different characters altogether which is great. For example there is a kaoken goku and a super Saiyan goku as well as probably 6 or 7 more with even the most minuscule characters as playable like Jackie chun and lord chill as a few that were interesting. It is also not necessary to spend money to be competitive like many other freemium games. The only con was that it didn't take long to beat all the main story that they have released so far but more story will come soon I'm sure, they also do a great job with daily and weekly events!

This game is brand-new and already my favorite ios DBZ game. The gameplay is very interesting as well as the story. The wait for stamina to regenerate is pretty quick. There is already so much fun stuff to do with an "unfinished product." The company that made this game is doing a fine job in satisfying the players with new updates and events. It's their attention to customer feedback and their pursuit to please that has made this game so enjoyable. Due to the fact this is not a finished product, there is not much to say besides the fact that I am interested to see what comes next. I am sure the developers are hard at work to make this game as great as it can be. Keep it up!

This is by far the best DBZ mobile game to come out. I love that actual animation is added to the fights, and that it also makes you think a bit during the battles. I have high hopes for this game to go even further beyond its current greatness.

Some criticism however, the movement numbers should be a bit more random (it's a bit ridiculous to have 3 of the same number at one time, although I understand that is also part of the puzzle) and a wish should be added to either level up your whole party greatly, or max out one character (awakening and all) and it would be nice if the dragon balls were a bit more random as well.

Game is addicting, as you progress through the story, you will have a deep thirst for SSRs. Soon you will find yourself with 0 SSRs because the rates are terrible. Just go to the Japan version, it's 10x better. You will get A LOT of stress. The limited time events are coming and you're pressured into doing all the new summon events. You're stress level will be over 9000. I am not even joking, once you get into the game there's no turning back. Just don't play it if you don't want a load of anxiety and stress when you don't get anything good. Notice how I say the word STRESS a lot because this game will give you a lot of it. You have been warned.

I find this game quite amusing. Competing in tournaments (great idea), getting your favorite characters, and creating a strong team. I'll admit, I had a bit of stress during some period of playing this. Since I finished the story, it becomes a bit challenging to get more dragon stones. But, with the daily login giving you dragon stones, it lessens a bit. Because of my hard work, 2 out of the 3 SSR's I have are currently UR's. Plus, one of the UR's was on my wish list (currently wanting a SSR Beerus though). Anyway, great game. I'd say to improve on getting the dragon stones easier, but other then that, this game is perfect for DBZ lovers!

This game is extremely fun I could play for hours without getting bored. But most of the reviews complain about how they never get any good characters, well you're guaranteed a sr for every multi summon. Some people complain about the bad orb matches they get, well you have to play with a strategy instead of just tapping the longest chain. Some people will argue about the fact that you are only allowed to bring one type of every character on your time ( like only one ssj Goku) and I can't really say anything about that I hate it too. But overall this is a really fun game that people need to stop only pointing out the bad parts about.

The game has been good to me. Yes the drop rates of natural SSR chars are abysmal and Dragon Stones are priced too high for my liking. So I'm a free player. And I still pulled ~6 natural SSR's. I have ~13 UR including the free ones.

My main complaint is the game doesn't give you any more opportunities to earn free DS (besides new events) once you completed the single player campaign. Although I have never done it, this temps ppl to start new accounts & abandon the baron ones. If they lowered the price of DS it would cause more ppl to buy & those ppl would also be less likely to abandon their accounts since they spent money on it.

So I recently finished the story for Dokkan and now I can't find a great source for dragon stone so now at this point I can't do summoning for the new gogeta card that I really want so please add a new way to get dragon stones because right now I'm broke of stones and I need stones to do the gogeta event so please add one please!!!! also we need a trading system. I read all the review and most of them said trading system and dragon stone source so bandai can you please give us what we want for the game. I packed supreme awake goku twice and my friend really want the card so please add one it will make our day. Thx for reading

I Love This Game but there is a recommendation I would like to say. The pull rates for summons should be the same as the Japanese version because most of the times I do summons the pull rates are plan horrible. It is like 3% or 5% to get a SSR so most of the time I Waste dragon stones. But overall I Love This game it is addicting and is one of the best games on the App Store. Thanks for reading! And every one else who thinks the pull rates should be higher like Japan's pull rate try and write reviews in the App Store or any other thing so the creators of Dokan battle can see this so the pull rates are better. So I have had the update with the new summon and tournament and what not, but I start to play for 6 days about. I login in the morning and it won't let me in. Everything updated, loaded, reloaded, and my internet is fine. I want to login by tomorrow because I am gonna get a prize for being in the place I'm in for the world tornament. I don't wana log in and see that I someone passed me and I lose the prize. I enjoy the game, Infact, sometimes it frustrated me. But I can't find my way out of this one. (Don't say restart your r phone/IPod, I tried 6 times) So if you could help me with that, that would be great :)

This is a phenomenal game that is a pleasure. Very fun and it is addictive. The developers are doing an excellent job of supporting this game with updates,fixes, constant bonus challenges and free gifts! You can level up extremely high and fast while spending zero dollars. On that note, if the prices were better in the store I wouldn't hesitate to buy stones just to support the developers as they have provided a huge value in giving us this game. Thank you and keep up the good work. For a game player across multiple platforms I felt compelled to give a review based on the value provided and the support given.

DBZ DOKKAN is free to play, but progression slows down after campaign and events are finished. Seeing bad reviews based on this fact, but people fail to see that quality comes with money. The quality of this game is much better than many existing micro-transaction games. The admin team is constantly giving gifts, as well as rewarding players for the tiniest problems, when other companies won't even fix longstanding issues, let alone help you. If you play DOKKAN at a reasonable rate, it'll provide a few months of free fun. I have played almost daily for five months, and still enjoy the challenge.

This game is awesome, I loved dbz as a kid and watched every movie like broly and resurrection f and to be able to use these characters is great but wouldn't it be cool if we could trade them? Because the overall drop rate isn't great and say you want that super saiyen god goku but you didn't have dragon stones? You give them a super saiyen god vageta and a random sr like perfect cell this would add a twist to the game and would be a lot of fun for some players you could trade with allies or have a feature where you see what people would give for your card overall great game I love playing it

The training in the sky event is driving me mad. I regularly have to pass the fight up due to the number of moves required/given. I really don't care about the items given the whole point to the event is to gain experience for my characters. I would suggest putting a stop on the fight. It may seem insignificant to some but it literally makes me turn the game off when it happens and I'm close to dropping the game and rating due to this issue. I personally don't have the time to play the game all day. So the event is kind of a big deal to me. I love the game and hope this issue gets rectified.

The game is so fun but maybe we should have like a shop to spend money to buy items we need like the capsules kus I need some for Bardock and I can't seem to get them and the ones I do get already have so plz put a shop or something to get capsules and make it a lil easier to option ssr characters thank u but other then that it's a great game and add a place where we can buy the ssr NOT a Summon spot but a lil shop to buy them with money or with dragon stones I think they'll make the game better so we can collect our favorite characters and make the drop rate a lot higher for ssr summons

This game only has one way of playing it and that is by collecting ki spheres. The story gets boring because the dialogue gets repeated at times. Collecting dragon balls of fairly easy in story mode but only limits you to the wishes that are already generated. Some advise for new beginners would be to save your dragon stones and do a multi summon so you can have a greater chance to get an SSR. Spam awakening medal events so you can awaken your rares that can be useful for certain types of strike boss events. The tips are pretty straightforward in the game so pay close attention to them!
