For those who rated this a 1 star game they're fcuking insaiyan. As a 25 year old I feel like I'm 8 again playing this game. First off this game took a completely different direction with game play. It's not some cheese card game that requires you to buy things with real cash. I do enjoy the orb matching to increase attack points and different "styles" which cause a character to be come stronger or weaker against an opponent. Animation and characters look great and are accurate. The way you get new characters is crazy cool with Goku shooting a Kamehameha at this orb thing in the sky. Overall this game is awesome if you are a true DBZ fan. Gotta remember the game JUST CAME OUT so stop complaining so much. But here's a list of things I would like to see in upcoming updates
1. More characters like Goten, Trunks, Brolly, etc.
2. More story line (there's a lot of story line but nerded out hard this past week)
3. Option to buy dragons stones with zeni
4. Please DO NOT make an option to buy characters! It'll take way from the excitement and fun of seeing who you get. Like opening a fresh pack of Pokemon cards (for those who remember that)
5. Maybe be able to fuse cards together to create a fusion characters like Gogeta, Vegeto and Gotenks

Keep up the great job developers and tell these lame ducks who rated you a 1 star to go pack sand. You guys are doing great.

First off, this game is a business and to continue development it needs money, correct? So everything, including your favorite characters will and not ever possibly be up for grabs to use.

#1 it's a game of chance, basic gambling 101, and that to me makes it fun and excited... Unpredictable if you will.

#2 I probably shouldn't admit this since Bandai probably reads these. I have spent $4 on the game, logged in 65 days consecutive and have more stones than I know what to do with them. I have 6 UR cards, 30 SSR cards and I'm Rank 100, I put in the grinding and came up with a plan daily for farming, leveling, and training. This game is pretty easy once you beat the learning curve and also one of the best mobile games besides Hearthstone I have found.

#3 most of the reviews I have read are complaints about not getting what they want because they spent a ton of money and prayed SSGSS Goku SSR would magically pop! I summon periodically, but mostly I don't need to... I have a huge roster to pull from that I feel I earned from fights, or good luck! In a game of chance gamers should know better that nothing is guaranteed.

#4 ok I have one complaint and that's about the speed and response of the on screen GUI buttons when clicking certain things have a slow response time, please fix that Bandai, and then we will be fusion dancing forever!!!

I really like this game i've been playing this game for 2 months it has A LOT of characters and it's challenging yet frustrating at the same time cuz theres this thing called the dragon stones which u use them for
1-summoning characters
2-refill ur empty stamina so u can keep playing
3-use the stones to continue playing incase u lost
Summoning characters is the most thing i'm aiming at yet it cost 5 stones for a single character summon or 50 stones for multi characters which i believe u get 10 characters for it
The bad thing about this game is almost most of my summons comes out with lame characters or weak only one time i got a good one and i've played the game on normal n hard n collected over a 100 stones but still no luck i think they should make the summons more rewarding n they really really should tune down the dokkan events they're waaaay to hard and frustrating n i refuse n will forever refuse to pay real money for this kinda games its good and everything but still not worth to waste money one i saw people spend 100s of dollars on phone games when they're not even compared to video games yeah they're fun but not enough to make me pay for them
I recommend it download it play the game have fun with it just i don't recommend spending money not only on this game but on any other games

One of my suggestions is that you hard workers add a trading feature, basically players can trade characters instead of constantly using dragon stones to get the character also to show what each player is looking for add a wishlist and to communicate with each other, you could add a message feature with restrictions to prevent players from using vulgar slang. Also, instead of selling characters for Zeni, I think I should change it to dragon stones. One last extremely important thing, I want UR legendary super saiyan Broly very much, why is he so hard to get, I've used at least 1,000 dragon stones trying to get him and all I get are useless Rares and Super Rares, so please be generous, and give every player a chance to get whichever character (No matter the rarity) they want without getting things they don't and if you do take this suggestion, give everyone this opportunity whether the player is a newcomer or one of your first downloads, give everyone a chance to get the character they want. Then you talented ladies and gentlemen will have a lot more supporters including myself. Thank you for reading. I hope you amazing hard workers are willing to take and use all of my suggestions.

You don't need to spend money on this game to get great characters. I've never spent a single penny on the game. People say its hard to get dragon stones after all the missions are completed but on average you probably get 1 free dragon stone each day just for logging in. Often, there are days they even give out 3-5 free dragon stones if there was a maintenance issue. It takes 5 stones to summon a new character. Summoning is awesome, I'm level 140 and summoned 2 ssr characters (not including world tournament ssr gauranteed summon) this far and I'm not complaining, because in total I have 7 Ultra rare characters and three more characters that can potentially be URs. Some people may have better pulls than me, but I don't mind, as its a fair system and everyone has the same probability of getting a character. Most of my URs were given through special missions or by awakening sr characters. The broly event is awesome and should be kept as is, with four blazing battle characters I just had to spend 18 free dragon stones and a lot of senzu beans to get a gauranteed UR super saiyan broly. This is awesome because it probably takes 150+ dragon stones on average to even pull an ssr.

I'll start out by saying I love this game and is by far one of the best games on the App Store. Now with that being said there's still room to improve and with most of the new content being a step in the right direction if you get really nit-picky there are a few things that stand out that draw away from an other wise amazing game. Some times the game can run a tad slower then games of a similar concept like pirate warriors or even other mobile games, and once in a blue mood the game will just close. Now I can't stress enough how rare this is for example I've owned this since launch almost and had that happen about 5 times at max. Besides these I can't find many problems with a fantastic game. The game is doing a great job of expanding into the depths of the known Dragon Ball universe. We are now getting into GT and people like Super Gogeta but I would very much like some people like SSJ 4 Goku or even Vegeta, and as this would be cool for another big summon like the current one for year one super Gogeta you could for say spend maybe an extra 10 stone for a Guaranteed chance at one of the ssr cards on the picture preview.

Very fun game, have sunk many many hours into this. There's always rewards for your progress, the narrative, while not all there, tells itself in comic book-like panels, featuring characters and villains of the show. It's astounding how many playable characters there are, a feature that many of us DBZ fans have been clamoring for for years. Strategy will benefit you greatly going into this game. While not all that hard, it definitely pays to know your battle plan and will give you some awesome fighting animations. There's not much to the gameplay, mix the most amount of colored orbs that relate to your character as you can to have more powerful attacks. But the animations that follow these never get old in my opinion and that's where the game really shines. The attacks follow the scheme that the show does, punches making enemies fly all over, explosions prevalent. It's a lot of fun to watch. If you're a die hard DBZ fan, do not hesitate to get this. I would go as far to say it's a good game to play if you wanna know a little bit about the characters and the lore of the show. One of the best free games I've ever played!

First and foremost, this is the best DBZ game out to date on the market. I read a lot of reviews stating that people are having a hard time getting SR or SSR characters. That's based on luck or rng (random number generator). I myself haven't gotten any SR or SSR character from summoning beside the the first summoning, but I used awakening on my R characters and they transformed to SR which is a very good thing. By awakening an R, SR, or SSR character, you can bump up to their next rank and make them stronger. So this game is fair to players who can't afford to purchase dragon stones with real currency. They also add new events for you to get certain characters if you try hard enough. Lots of stages you can play to get a dragon stone, one for normal, one for hard, and one for z hard. So that's over 200 dragon stones for free (not including some stages that gives you 2). The Japanese version is way ahead of the English version, but we will get it soon. This game is what I been waiting for and I'm planning to buy a lot of dragon stones on the near update and events.

This is hands down the only legit dbz game out there. The graphics are great. Other reviews complain about the ki system, it's easy, it just takes strategy. Sometimes you have to pass on powering a 4-6 bar attack in order to stack more orbs for a more powerful character. Other reviews also complain about the lack of dragon stones, I call bs. They give out dragon stones like candy. 1-2 for every stage you clear on each difficulty. And the quest missions are long! You can easily amass hundreds of stones. They also give them out as consecutive login bonuses and for special events. How often does clash give you 500 gems? And how far does that amount get you? I also saw a review complaining they used dragon stones and never got a Sr. False! That review is fake. You are guaranteed at least 1 SR per dragon summon. Sound doesn't work? Reset the app and it does. I've also had no problem with crashing. Don't listen to all these negative reviews. With new content being pushed out weekly, sometimes daily, there's always something to do!

So, the only changes really needed are for it to be easier to obtain dragon stones and completing a story level would reward more than 1 dragon stones, then there is a trading system that's needed so that players can get certain characters that they want including the rarity level but make it so when they trade it unless trading back the character starts off at level 1 but still keep its rarity, and other suggestions that have been made too are when we sell a character we get dragon stones instead of zeni, and also increase friend slots by leveling up rewarding 4 extra slots and higher cost increases by leveling up such as giving 3 more cost slots available and one more thing would be to lower the prices for awakening. I know it's a lot but it would be AWESOME and would make the game way more fun if you guys, you awesome game creators to add in these changes and the game as it is now already has me glued to it, but it would be super super awesome if you guys added all these things in!!! I don't see where all the negativity is coming from. It isn't your standard "puzzle match" that pollute the market place. You match Ki orbs down a path and try do so of your same type, all the while trying to play types against each other in a Rock Paper Scissors kinda thing.

Battles are cool to play out and it feels good to get good ki paths

I haven't seen the player roster yet but I already have two teams im working on. Hunting for training medals and also getting Rare cards and items from summons and the battle boards is a delight

People keep complaining about stamina recharge and etc.....ummmm it's a game and you are playing for free? Dudes want to get all the benefits and not pay a dime. Come on now somebody gotta get paid.

You can summon characters through friend points or dragon stones, so far I've gotten a good mix of players. I'm a dragon ball z fan and recommend for everybody. Can't wait for what future updates do.

This game rocks even if you're not down for chillin with krillin.

This game is really good ive had about 10 days non stop breaking night with a friend playing this game competing with him since we're both DBZ fans we try to go hard at this game. The game offers a strategical battle system the events are awesome the company that makes it is always apdating and adding new things to it so u never get bored the leveling up system is pretty easy the story is great you get to relive the DBZ sagas with a twist and to see all you favorite characters and their super attacks is awesome the graphics are great the sound it good very arcade -ish. Its a great game to either play of just waste time. DBZ for life!

P.S Add more to the story, i havent finished the whole thing but add the GT saga as well theres alot of really good characters in that saga even though thats my least favorite saga. Also add Jenemba, Gogeta and Vegito and Veku lol. Thats all thanks for an awesome game keep the updates coming.

If you are looking for a new alternative to Pokemon and love anime, then you've stuck gold. So far this game is turning out great. Large character roster, unique story plot (similar to XenoVerse on consoles), great animation, very addictive, and great for killing time. Many veteran players may complain over the lack of dragon stones being received and the summoning rates being ridiculous, but don't let that discourage you from trying this game out. Those players spent their dragon stones by their own free will, so they can't blame anyone else but themselves. To you veteran players: The information has been out there on Reddit of when the Japanese Version (which is much more progressed) had its best summoning events or when its story mode update came out; btw Japanese players waited longer for updates. Personally, as long as I get to rank up everyday I'm fine.

For starts I am no fan of video games or mobile games, but Dokkan Battle has had me hooked since the Global version first hit the market. Anyone who complains about their characters, strike events, or game play has no idea what they are saying. Not getting countless SSR characters means the game is functioning how it should be, hence the whole point of them being SUPER SUPER RARE! As for people complaint about strike events just because you beat the level does not guarantee you a character! Beating it on harder difficulties will give you a better chance at getting the character but it functions on a Random Number Generator basic meaning it will give you a 1 out of so many chance of acquiring the character upon completion. This game is so simply yet so deeply complex at the same time. The game continues to get better each day despite the ridicule from others. Thanks Bandia!

I Play This GAME EVERY DAY!!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!. But there's one thing that makes me sad every time I play it That the one character I wanted to complete every one I have. I got Goku super saiyn God 2, vegeta Goku as a kid and some other ones I have. But I found out I missed....broly... I really wanted him but I didn't even have the app when he came out I have a 20 something level Goku super saiyn God 2 and my team is undefinable I just want HIM SO BADLY but I can't.when I got it I just named my name as Ben cause that's my real name I just want so can you please just make him come again Please! I've had a fever for a long time and still do and it would make me SO! SOO!! HAPPY!!! I'm a huge DBZ Fan And Always will be I'm rating 5 stars because I've been SO Excited WHEN I GOT SUPER SAIYN GOD GOKU 2!!!!!!!!!!. So I'm begging Please Bring Broly back...

This game is so fun and addicting and I want this to be an Dokkan event well first of all we need an super Saiyan 3 gotenks event then there should be an Dokkan event for the buu(gohan absorbed) and buu(gotenks absorbed) and how it would work is you would fight an super buu with 1 bar of health then you would need to fight buu( gohan absorbed) with 2 or three bars of health and then fight buu( gotenks absorbed) with 3 to 5 bars of health and it will give you 1 super buu awakening item and you need 10 of those to Dokkan awaken your own buu( gohan absorbed) and buu (gotenks absorbed) but on top of that You will need to get either ultimate gohan awakening medals ( buu gohan absorbed) or gotenks ( buu gotenks absorbed) so you will need 10 ultimate gohan and 10 super buu awakening items or 10 gotenks and 10 super buu awakening items.

I love this game, I've played it every single day since I've downloaded it. Sure I get frustrated at times but the game is still amazing. There are a few ways I think that it can be better:
I think that there should be better odds for summonings, because the last 2 multi summons I've done I got some pretty bad super rares (one in each pack). Still though, I've managed to get a team of all super rares.
Make it easier to get dragon stones (PLEASE) because I hate saving up for multi summons just to get one basic super rare. Make tournaments like in the Japanese version, or make it so that Zhard levels give you 2 dragon stones for completing, and make it possible to buy dragon stones with zeni; not crazy expensive, make it the same price as Z-awakening for 3-5.

Other than those things, the game is basically perfect.

This game is superb and extremely addicting. Been playing this game since it came out and people are complaining how the drop rates are bad. Take my word, if you were to search up summon videos from when the game first came out, you'd be extremely thankful that they added that Goku can turn Super Saiyan when you do a single summon. It's all RNG based guys, I didn't think I'd get any SSR until they started coming in. If you really want one , don't waste your stones on singles and save em for multi summons, cuz he turns SSJ2 at least so you can hope for a chance instead of a SSJ1 single summon. For money, it's up to you I buy from time to time but I save up stones because of the compensations, thank you's, logins and all that good stuff. 5/5 for this game, grew up with it and I'm enjoying it.

I think it is a great game but after so long it becomes as close to impossible as can be to get dragon stones. That is why I came up with an idea I would like to share to all who read this. I think there should be a game mode where you fight a series of characters say ten rounds and there a 3 difficulties (NORMAL) (HARD) (Z-HARD). NORMAL you get an item ( gold awakening medal, gold training item, gold support item). For HARD you acquire a dragon stone. Finally for Z-HARD you get 2 dragon stones.
Please take this into serious consideration and maybe change up the rewards,rounds, or whatever and please take this in to serious consideration. I do not claim copyright or any kind of ownership if u do this. It would be an honor just to see it happen on DOKKAN BATTLE. Thank you for your time.

Every free app is going to have ways to tempt you into buying in app purchases, that being said, I think this game is pretty fair about giving out the in game currency (Dragon Stones).

I don't follow the story in the game (I just skip it all) but as a DBZ fan it's a lot of fun getting stronger characters and creating your team.

It's really cool how characters have relationships with other characters and that boosts their stats, you can have an average team but with smart team building have a winning chance.

Eventually the events become the reason to keep playing since you no longer benefit from story mode but they always have events and normally one or two geared towards end game players.

If you like RPG style games, are a DBZ fan or both, it's worth your time downloading!
