Considering the weather is extremely hard to predict, this app does an extremely good job predicting bands of rain coming through the city. The closer you live to the Doppler radar, the better. I live in Perth Australia and I'm 50km from the radar site of Serpentine. But this app has been accurate for me down to the minute. However, less accurate if the rain is scattered, but still does a good job.
Well done in my opinion. I have no issue opening my wallet to these guys.

Tried the other night, and I could not have picked a better time to tryout. It told me it would rain in 13 minutes, so I set a timer as a joke. Alarm went off as the sound of rain reached me. Spooky.

Definitely one of those "the future is here" technology moments.

Watch app is excellent and unlike nearly all watch apps, it actually works. The side benefit is that you can get a BOM forecast in your watch Glances, the quickest way to see a decent forecast on the watch.

The app is fantastic and just what you'd expect on the iPhone, however, if you have an Apple Watch? You MUST download this and the companion app. This is the closest thing I've seen to a "Killer App" on the Apple Watch - getting a buzz on your wrist anywhere you are, letting you know that it's going to rain within X minutes, from what direction and how heavy?

Finally you got rid of the ugliest icon on my home screen. New one is perfect. Rain Parrot is a great app and works most of the time. We live in a sort of storm bubble, so it makes it hard to predict rain when it comes in from the west due to the mountain range. But when from the east, it's very accurate. Don't bring back the old icon.

BUT. This App is the allstar of Rain/weather apps. Love the forecasts and rain warnings, all well as the extra technical data it provides. I've had all the weather apps but I'm going to delete them all except this one. Ridiculously accurate realtime notifications of rain volumes and when we can expect it. All hail Rain Parrot!

This app has saved my washing getting wet again, helped me decide whether or not to take the dog for a walk and made me look like a genius to friends who didn't know about the app. I stay outside of Australia most of the time and unfortunately it doesn't work where I stay so that's the only downer for me.

This app has alerted me to approaching rain I wasn't aware was about to hit me, saves checking the radar every 10 minutes, it's highly customisable too. The alert notification voice could be a bit louder and clearer, sounds a bit distant and echoey

Love this app! I can accurately predict when to take my dogs for a walk, right down to when it's best to leave the office. Rain parrot is accurate and makes it easy to dodge rain showers when you least expect them. Being able to plan around rain makes my life easier.

This app has saved me and my washing getting caught in the rain so many times! Notifications were a bit much on default but it's highly configurable and I just changed the sensitivity a little so I only get notified for larger downpours. Such an awesome app!

This app is awesome. Seems to have gotten more accurate recently too. Would love to see an iOS 10 widget and updated Apple Watch app to take advantage of backgrounding plus complication. I would pay for an update like that. Please do it!

This my go to app to check for coming rain. I have found it to be reliably accurate and always check with rain parrot before putting clothes on the line or heading out with the kids. So easy to use as well!

I've had this app for over a week now during some of the worst weather possible and it's incredibly accurate so have been using it for timing when I go out and I haven't got wet yet!!!

This is the first weather app that I can rely on, it's amazing how accurate it is and so easy to use. I can not find fault with rain parrot, it is the best weather app.

An app that delivers on exactly what it promises and now I can't live without it. The watch extension works great. On of the most powerful apps I have ever seen.

Awesome app does what is says,tells me it's going to rain in 10 mins and it does! You won't need another weather app this does the lot!

This is a fabulous app, I couldn't do without it. It's extremely handy and exceptional accurate. It's a must have for tracking rain.

Best weather app I have found. Rain alerts a brilliant especially on the motorbike. Get the wet weather gear on before it rains!
