This game was certainly a very very mysterious one to say the least. The way that the story line is set up is genius. Being able to pick and choose between different characters and their individual stories and seeing how they all intertwine with one another to the end is brilliant. And by far the strongest part of this sequel is the mind blowing story line. Although I must say that I was very much intrigued by the incredibly mysterious approach they took with the structuring, it got to be a little frustrating after 40+ hours of gameplay and you still don't know what the blazes is going on! But at the very last moment of the game every finally comes to a head, and I would have to say it's the biggest revelation in all of FF history, making it all worth it. Other that the slightly weak gameplay in comparison to the others, it was an amazing experience and I highly recommend it. EVERY Final Fantasy fan needs this piece of the story puzzle‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

First, I love this game. While I am never one to particularly care about graphics, the 3D does look pretty good. I am a huge fan of FFIV, so I'm sure that colors my opinion of the game.

Now on to my question: I just finished Ceodore's tale, and I did not see any place for the challenge dungeon. Does anyone know if they have removed all of the challenge dungeons? Or is this a port of the wii version, which I know removed just Ceodore's challenge dungeon? Or, am I just missing it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This game is amazing and I had a lot of fun playing it. I played both this version and the wii ware version. I totally prefer this. True the challenge dungeons are gone, but all the items from them can be bought in The Crystals chapter. Right outside the lunar whale. As far as not being at a high level. You can buy 5 level bands and gain levels in no time at all to catch up. Had no crashing issues what so ever. Playing on iOS 8 with an iPhone 6 Plus. Highly recommended to all FF IV fans.

I love this game the graphics update is a welcome improvement. This is well worth the money to any final fantasy or rpg fan.

To every one complaining about no extra dungeons you should stop complaining no where does square Enix say they include them in the ios, so just because your dumb enough to buy before you read doesn't mean the game deserves a 1 star and a bad review.

The game is just what the description says so be happy with it or don't buy it.

Before I got this game I had heard some bad things about it, but when my brother got it, I watched it for a bit and he told me about it. A lot of spoilers were said, but when I finally got it, it was frustrating. Ceodores tale is really hard and I was having a lot of trouble. But after that, the game expands into something grand. If you like final fantasy then get this game. IT IS GREAT!!!!

One of my favorite FF games of all time was FF IV (2 in US for SNES).
I came across this gem and wondered how much I might enjoy it compared to the original. I am amazed by the way the individual characters' stories intertwine with the original. Original soundtrack brings back many memories of my youth, playing one of the best games ever.

If you like FFIV, get this right now!

If you completed FF4 and loved it , then this game is a must have. I'm honestly enjoying it more than FF4. The story is on point, and even better I'm having no problems with the game crashing at all. Can't wait to see more of what square enix has to offer... Maybe FF7 .. Or even a kingdoms hearts game? I'm kidding :p... Keep up the good work square enix, ^_^

Thank you SE for a beautiful remake! The game is near perfection, it would be a solid appreciation of fans if you would include an option to enjoy the original versions of the music during game play! I believe it to be only right to include such a feature because music has had a major impact on fans of final fantasy! Thank you again love us!

The 12 year old boy in me really appreciates this game. I loved Final Fantasy IV (then called Final Fantasy II) growing up and I always wanted more to the original story. Final Fantasy IV: The After Years is a great addition to the Final Fantasy IV storyline and I'm happy I own it.

This is an awesome sequel! Someone spent a lot of time and made the locations on the game very similar to what they were in the first part of the game. I love knowing what happened to the characters in the previous story. It is one of the best written stories of the series.

I've had this for almost a year now and I absolutely love it to no end. I just wish that there was an iCloud saving feature. It'd be perfect since I'm gonna get an iPad soon and what better way to play it than on a much bigger screen

Don't you guys worry, this game has elements of the first game and it's quite awesome! I insist that SQ must put an save on iCloud since some people might just want to... Cheers!

So good. I have been a long time FFIV fan. So glad to play through this. A good challenge. Had to grind a little at the end but well worth it.

Final fantasy is one of the best RPGs ever and I hope to see square Enix makes a sequel to final fantasy vi.

When I payed $15.99 FOR this game it takes long to install It just gets stuck. Plz stop.
