"FloodWatch" is the Official Mobile App of Central Water Commission, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Govt. of India that is specifically designed for dissemination of real-time flood situation and flood forecasts.

FloodWatch utilizes advanced technologies such as satellite data analysis, mathematical modeling, and real-time monitoring to provide accurate and timely flood forecasts upto 7 days. This application offers essential information regarding flood-prone areas, potential risks, and recommended actions to minimize risk to life. Its user-friendly interface ensures that everyone can stay informed and make well-informed decisions during flood events.

• 7-day Flood Forecast: Access to CWC flood forecasts for the next 7 days either by selecting specific states or directly from the interactive map.

• Location-based Flood Forecast: By entering your specific location, usere can receive current flood situations, forecasts, and risk assessments tailored for the area of choice.

• Forecast Graphs and Analysis: The app provides explicit flood forecast graphs, along with audio and readable flood summaries for specific locations. User can easily navigate the map to assess flood forecasts in any area.

• Emergency Preparedness Guidelines: The app offers guidance to civil and disaster management authorities to plan flood preparedness for citizens and their movable properties during flood events.
