You guys mustn't have played GTA: III before. You couldn't swim in it. On any platform. i.e. PS2, XBox, PC. You've never been able to use petrol stations. Even up to GTA IV you couldn't use them. You can use the car wash in GTA IV. The games runs perfectly for me. I now have 16GB iPod Touch 4th gen. and it runs this with no problem and iOS6.1. I used to have a 8GB 4th gen. which was full, and was Jailbroken. It worked fine. Also when I updated to iOS 6.1 it worked fine. I don't see why you guys are complaining. I've played the game on PS2 and PC and they are amazing. I grew up playing Grand Theft Auto. The reason why the lighting and shading are crappy on iOS is because it simply can't handle graphics like this. The graphics card is tiny and same with the processor. It has no proper cooling and thats why it can't handle something with bigger graphics. If you want good graphics and playing speed (FPS) then you will need, a good graphics card, processor, motherboard, cooling and a fair bit of ram. Usually 8GB for most games. Also, not every device can handle all games at their best.

Just the way I love my portable games. Rockstar actually did a very great job of recreating this PS2 Classic to iOS and other mobile devices. I've noticed a few differences to the voices though, but other than that, basically exactly the same as it was in 2001. After failing any mission, you can actually choose to retry the mission instead of driving all the way back. They've taken what they've done great, and made it even better. There's also better graphics and framerate. Just one of the very few companies that actually care about the old times and recreates them for a new generation of gamers. If the controls are a bit difficult, you can also download it from the PS store for PS3, or try to track down the PC version (with the former being much easier). Well worth it. 9.3 out of 10, which rounds off to 5 stars.

I've played this for about 5 hours now on my iPad 2. Hasn't crashed once and it seems to be very true to the original GTA3 ( except they've taken out the extremely annoying motion blur from the pc version, which is a huge plus in my eyes). The only thing that I would change is the camera interface, manually rotating it is very cumbersome especially during combat situations. Unfortunately I have no idea on how they can improve it.
I also would like it if the cars handled better or were a little more durable, I can't finish a single race, I know that I didn't have a problem racing on the PC version.
Anyways this is a definite 5 star game. Good work and thank you R*Star

you don't realise how much I'd like your company if you made a GTA for kids like me, it would be less violent no sexual content and nudity no drugs and make it more realistic as in car blowing up and make it so you can blow up buildings.Also, remove all the adult content, okay I'm getting tired of putting commas in here's a list of things I want you to do: add more cars

The app has episodes or glitches were the game or character will go in a slow motion state when running or driving cars and the cars in the game ever to the left when trying to drive cars. But the slow motion state is a real pain because the games plays normal then the game will go in slow motion the same effect as when you put the slow motion cheat in the old consoles.

This game is absolutely fantastic! I haven't seen any glitches at all! I still remember playing this at the age of six and the experience was divine! And still today on my phone the experience is divine! I don't know how you make something fantastic even though it hasn't been played for five years, but it's amazing! Keep it up guys!

Don't listen to the teams of gods because he has no idea what the word GTA means...
Rockstar should never make any GTA game kid friendly because it is an adult game or anyone above the age 16.

GTA should never become kid friendly otherwise the title makes no sense.

10 year olds complaining because there are no motorbikes and helicopters. There's a radio station full of scarface songs, I'll take that over flying a helicopter any day.

A few glitches but the PC is worth like 80 buckaroo so it's worth it also God there never going to be making a kid friendly version so pls just wait until your older.

This game is so entertaining I really like the pill in the hospital which makes everything slo mo I also like how the challenges come and go and are rly challenging

It's a fun game you will not stop playing it. The missions are good and there is lots to do. You should buy this game

I have an iPhone 6s and finished the game and right after I started crashing all the time like every 2 minutes please fix this
