Great app but a few issues, only one photo is allowed to use to advertise your item, and it would be nice to be able to delete sold items and/or duplicates ads, also the people who arent marking their items sold is an issue for those who think the item is still avail. and come to find out has been sold months ago. These days people have no consideration for other peoples time anymore, so for those of you that have wrote a review that those who say they will pick up an item but dont that you want them kicked off is a ridiculous comment. If that was the case there would be no one left on this site to sell to, so my advise to you is take different actions. I know that i had to change my ways in selling to

Wish list:

-Show price at the top of an ad so I don't have to scroll down then Scroll up to get back to the main page.

-show price on the main browse page so I don't have to open up each ad to see how much an item is.

-being able to share an ad over a text message with someone. People use the ap not the website and I can't send a link without emailing myself and then copying the link. Dumb!

-feedback option. I'd like to be able to say I sold x item to x person without emails and the website. Should be able to do those things through the app.

We recently sold our husky named Kayla thru offers up and we truly could not have found her a better home. Offers up gave us a forum to show you and give people lots of information about her so anyone interested knew the good and bad. We were able to take her over to meet the family first and give them time to think it over and we weed able to weed out people that were just interested in breeding her and such. Thank you offers up! Thanks to you Kayla has found a forever family that love her and that she has already fallen in love with. Without the way this site is set up, I'm not sure I would have ever found anyone that I thought she'd be happy with and loved by as well as loving them back!!

I have loved this site!!! It is so easy that even an extremely inexperienced tech person like me can do it!!!! I would love the ability to feature several photos of the same item. Also, suggestions to the people posting items to photograph with lights on against a lighter background than the object they are selling would help!!!! I have both bought and sold from the site and have been pleased with how smoothly it works. Don't forget: Never give anyone your home address! Meet at a public site during the daytime! If you are selling large furniture and have to give a personal address, never let someone in your home without several other adults there!!!!! Safety first and you'll LOVE this site!

Great app and I love that you get alerts regarding interested buyers. I love the site offers a variety of items and categories of items for sale. It's even better this site gives free advertising to sell your items. I just wish there was some way that you delete the messages and even block buyers who may repeatedly act interested in buying items and waste the sellers time and this can sometimes interfere or slow the effect of selling items quick. Other wise great app and so glad I joined. It has a lot of great features. This site should not get less stars because of the people that waste time knowing they are not going to buy anything. I'm so glad my relatives referred to this app.

I always wondered what I'm going to do with the stuffs in my house since I don't have the time to sell at Swap Meet. There are things I donate and then there are things I want to sell. Then there's Offer Up! Totally answered my prayers and people in Hawaii are really interested with your things here. No shady people.. I repeat, no shady people! Folks here have the Aloha spirit and really just want what you don't need. Too bad I can't say the same for all the other states. This app is straightforward. One thing I have to complain about is that you're only allowed to take one pic. It's not like Craigslist where you can upload more pics. Oh well. Still I love this app. Thanks Offer Up!

So I absolutely hate writing reviews but recently I had an incident and needed to share my experience. Unfortunately someone flagged one of my posts mistaking a dog outfit post with a picture of my dog as me trying to sell my dog which is a big Nono. They immediately removed my post and emailed me. I responded quickly explaining it was a picture of my dog wearing an outfit because she is a spoiled princess and that's why I'm selling her closet. Within seconds(I timed it) I recieved a response and my item was put back up with an apology to me. He even went as far as talking about how his dog hated sweaters too. They do care about their users, and I will continue to use this app.

I really like this application for a classified ad. It is easier than craigslist. It is better than craigslist. There is more accountability for the buyer and seller on this classified ad app. There are apps that you can add more photos in one frame that may help some of you who are complaining that there is only one photo application. I usually split my photo in three sections and have three separate photos in one frame. The fact that you can get rated for your purchases/selling is a plus. I wish everyone would utilize that function more often. There are some bugs that I believe will eventually be worked out but overall this is a great application for buying and selling.

I this app!! Let me tell you why. First of all it's FREE. Second of all, all the changes I've seen are for the BETTER. Posting is simple. Editing is simple. Communication with the buyers is simple.

The only thing I've had issues with honestly is when I message the buyers (on rare occasions) there is sometimes a delay, or it looks like the message was never sent. So when I go to message them again they receive 2 messages, no biggy.

Another thing I saw someone else mentioned & I agree with is it would be nice to see how many people have viewed the item(s), that way we can gauge the price.

Other than that keep up the GREAT WORK and thanks a bunch!!! ❤️

After listing a vanity set multiple times on eBay and getting no bids, then on Craigslist which just gave me 30 sketchy spam emails, then on Facebook sale groups where people said they wanted it, but never show up, Offer Up got my vanity set sold in less than a week. Communication through the in app message system was easy. Listing was easy. And it was all FREE! No ridiculous hoops to jump through like eBay has sellers have to do now. And I've been a power seller on eBay for 15 years. If they don't watch themselves, Offer Up is going to really chip away at eBay's core demo. Overall, the app worked well. I gave it five stars because it met and exceeded my expectations.

I've read over a few other ratings, and it looks like many are rating the other people buying/selling through OfferUp.
The app itself is very useful and, in my opinion, much easier than driving around to yard sales as people can meet up in a public setting (as recommended by the app). I have used OfferUp to purchase and sell several items. Yes, there are some flakey people out there, but the app has many great features such as search, categories, favorites, and in-app chat with notifications so that giving out your personal number is not required. Additionally, a general area of your location is provided in lieu of your actual address. Convenient and secure.

My husband and I have been members of OfferUp for a couple of years now. Of the 5 buy/sell apps we use, OfferUp seems to attract the better customers--the ones that actually show up and are nice. I'm dealing with scammers on my other apps--they even sound like those Nigerian emails from back in the day... where they'll deposit money into your account... yadda yadda. We're seriously thinking about just taking down our other accounts and concentrate on OfferUp soley. The app has a nice layout and is so user friendly; I never forget how to maneuver around the site, unlike the other apps I have. 5-stars for OfferUp!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

As a long term eBay and Craigslist user, I just discovered this app a couple weeks ago and it is now my preferred way to sell my stuff. Simple to use - takes less than a minute to list and the app seems to be widely used. I'm getting good response in CA where I live and also in Ohio where I'm helping my mom sell some things. The only problem, and it's not a problem with the app, is with people making offers and then not replying to pick them up. I think there either impulsive and then have a change of heart or addicted to this app. In any case, I love this app for finding new homes for my unused items. Would love to see if each added to search by price.

OfferUp is the best app to buy and sell locally, hands down! I love the identity verification feature, as well as the ability to rate (and view ratings of) buyers and sellers. I feel much safer using OfferUp vs. Craigslist (which was my go-to prior to discovering OfferUp) for these reasons. I also love that you can message people directly through the app rather than giving out your personal contact information, and the app is consistently updated in response to user suggestions. Overall, OfferUp is a great app and has allowed me to buy and sell several items to people locally with a greater sense of security than any other buy/sell resources I've used.

I've tried all the other apps--Close5, LetGo, Wallapop, and even Craigslist. I've definitely had the most completed sales on OfferUp. Craigslist would probably be a distant second place--it's just the most difficult to post stuff on there compared to other apps. I am still on LetGo, just because I get legitimate inquiries on it, but I haven't had a successful sale yet. . I deleted Wallapop because, when I actually did get a response, it was usually from sketchy/spammy users.

I do get a lot of responses from people trying to offer half the price on OfferUp, I still do eventually come to an agreement with people and meet with them to sell my stuff.

Let me just start by saying that at the same time I started on OfferUp, I signed up to sell on ebay as well. I figured I'd sell most on ebay and maybe sell one or two things on OfferUp. Well it's about a month later and I have not had to list one thing on ebay. I've sold a bunch of items on OfferUp and it's been so easy. Easy to list and easy to communicate with other people in the OfferUp community. Their system is genius! The way you can rate each other and see potential buyers or sellers ratings before you decide to purchase or sell to them helps so much! It makes you feel much more comfortable about the whole process!! Overall I love OfferUp!

Love this app, I've always sold a lot on Craigslist trouble free, but offerup makes it even easier!!
Communicate with its on messenger - alerts, push notifications, more security since you have to register, sometime seeing people's pictures adds even more. So easy to snap a pic and have it listed in a minute. Love how items you're selling get marked with offers and sold. And how you emails from other sellers you've communicated with with interest that their item sold to let you know.
Just a very good app, and surprised how many people are on it already! If only more though as you can never have a big enough of an audience ;)

So far I have bought a new bicycle and then sold my old bicycle. I'm very pleased with the experience. The sales process was very easy, and the people I have interacted with do not strike me as "sketchy" at all (in the way sometimes Craigslist interactions can go).

It's unfortunate that you can only submit ads the the app and not online. In fact you can't even edit existing ads on the website. Why limit functionality? If anything I would assume the app and website have the same functionality, if not the full website having more functionality.

Overall, I'm pleased with the app and will continue to buy and sell items through OfferUp.

Seriously, I love OfferUp. So easy to buy and sell. Sold my first item within 7 hours of posting. Bought my first with ease. Nice buyer and seller. I also had the need to contact their help support and received a response within 6 hours. Not speedy but super helpful. I agree with other reviewers that it would be nice to be able to block someone without having to report them. Also being able to swipe left to delete messages would be helpful too. Worry that OfferUp will start adding those annoying banner ads (this service is free, folks) but for now I LOVE using this app. Thank you OfferUp for providing a truly useful app! ❤️

I love that I am sell things online just because to have a yard sale in Arizona summer heat is just ridiculous! I price my things on what it's condition it is in. All my baby things are perfectly taken care of because well... I knew that I would eventually get rid of them! Not only that, I would hate to be given or even buy used baby things THAT ARE STAINED or DIRTY AS HELL or in THE POOREST CONDITIONS! half the people try to be cheap but hey, try a thrift store if you don't want good quality and newly looking things! It's still is a deal that you can not get from any other stores ! But anyways that's the only problem. :-)
