I've been impressed with the latest update to the Match App. It seems they have managed to make it easier and more enjoyable to use. Online dating can be a real chore, however the way you discover and scroll various profiles, click to view and scroll through images is actually quite enjoyable. There is a nifty search function to find local profiles which can be filtered according to your own preferences. For a quick fire 'hot or not' selection process you can swipe from random profiles which is good for passing the time. You never know you may find a golden nugget. The profiles are clear and easy to read and the icons for emailing, adding to favourite and winking are large enough for my thumbs. There's also the ability to hide, block and report profiles which don't suit you or are a nuisance. All in all one of the best dating Apps around.

It’s not a bad app, but equally not the best, as with many dating sites, its always trying to sell you more, which annoys me as its a subscription service, personally I think if you pay for online dating, then it should include everything the site offers. But thats just my opinion.
So for this app, its not bad, I prefer the online version personaly but i do like the fact that it’s easy to see the full conversation you are having rather than just the last message. Good selection of people, use the site and they seem to be actually looking to meet someone. All in all its a good app and a good site, which I would recommend over all other dating sites, hence the 5 stars, I do think all dating apps could get better and hopefully they will lead the way.

I have tried several dating apps and match is by far the best I have used.

Despite having to pay to message users it has the best active user base I have seen and gives the best responses. Also as you have to pay it filters out all the fakes and time-wasters making the whole experience much more enjoyable!

I have just passed 6 months on match, had several great conversations and am currently dating another match user who I met through the app! It takes out the awkwardness of making the first move, or in my case failing to make it.

I haven't been to any yet, but there are also match events where they allow you to meet other members with mutual interests. I look to explore these at some point in the future!

This is a really good app with excellent functionality. I enjoy the "discover" section that displays which users are online. It is quick and easy to see their profile and add them to your favourites if you like them. It also has a feature showing users that are nearby, meaning you can see with ease who is within a reasonable distance for you to contact. I actually prefer the messaging system on the mobile app to the website, since it works just like a text message. Overall I would highly recommend this app. I've had no problems with it and will be using it for a long while to come.

Although the app is designed for iPhone I use it quite happily on my iPad. It has been known to crash when overloading it with your search results but I'm normally nearing the end of looking by that point.
As a paid up member I enjoy being able to search for people closest to me and also from lots of criteria that I stipulate as well as seeing who has viewed, winked and messaged me. The push notifications are handy as I do tend to forget to log in and just see what's occurring.
Unfortunately for me I am still waiting for my prince to turn up but maybe Match will be where I find him?!

Brilliant. I'm a technophobe but this is simply a delight to use - a lot of thought has been put into the design and the format is simple to use but effective. Love the feature (website doesn't have) that enables me to scroll down through all emails sent to a person (has saved me making a faux pas on more than 1 occasion by realising that wasn't the same person I'd said that too!) Great onxthe move as can message very quickly so no need to give phone numbers out. And, it's free! So go on what are you waiting for?

I've tried various dating website apps and this one is by far the easiest to use and has the best features. I don't want to have to go to the website to carry out a task and this app features everything you could want to do right within the app. It's so important to be able to respond quickly to messages to avoid missing the opportunity to catch someone's attention so a mobile app is an absolute must for this sort of website and this one is a great addition to an already excellent service. Recommended.

This app is great!!! It has seamless functionality with most things just a click away, great 'in your pocket' design and the thing I love most is the fact that you don't have to be signed in but the app notifies you of activity. It could do with a few tweaks like letting you know when someone is typing, letting you edit text and decreasing sensitivity or moving things abit further apart so you don't view profiles accidentally etc. Overall this is a good app for finding someone that's right for you!

Updated app takes a bit of getting used to, but once you figure out where everything is, it's actually pretty easy to use and with more features than the previous version. I've had no problems since the update.
For those reporting problems, make sure iPhone is up to date. I've also found that when some apps can get buggy or freeze, sometimes it's the phone not the app; turning phone off & on, or a hard reboot will often fix things. This has worked for me with several different apps before.

Logged on and in just for curiosity to begin with. Easy to navigate around the app, simple layout,nothing too fancy but thats fine as the main purpose is to find a person not to observe the background.
You will need to upgrade to exchange conversation with others but there are always offers on to help with that.. But who can put a price on happiness right?
Been on a few dates and can say 1 of which was successful.
Final word - go for it.. Easy to use app, and you have nothing to lose

This is a great where you can filter from lots of precise options such as religion, location, background, values etc which is a very good idea. Obviously the more you filter the narrower the results but if you are specifically looking for a Christian it's great, or someone near you, then it's very handy to filter. 100% profiles are manually approved so you have security that the person is who they say they are. No catfishes!

Nice polished app that works really well. Has to be one of the best dating apps out there. Gives you all the features and functions of the desktop version including managing your notifications and email traffic right from the app. Possibly not the cheapest subscription but the types of questions asked allow you to understand someone's point of view and see if you think you'll click before you message them

I have used this app in several different iterations and this most recent version is a genuine pleasure to use and allows me to log on, check for messages, browse a bit and then log off quickly and efficiently!

One improvement for me would be if the discover section could be ordered in distance - i.e. those online individuals at the top are the closest to my location. Keep developing and improving please.

This is a great app for anyone on the match network. Has tones of features and benefits over the site version but there are some features I would like to see add. For example on the app you can not see when someone was last online meaning you may be messaging someone who hasn't been on in a while where as on the site you can see this. But baring that, great app and very simple to use!!!

This app is great for meeting new people on the move. There's no need to use your PC or laptop as everything can be done through the app...makes life so much easier. You can upload all your photos, edit your profile and search for new matches. I also like how you can search for people in your proximity using the location settings...highly recommend this app if you have a match profile!

The app has a few issues like text disappearing if you exit a message prematurely but apart from that it works well. Especially like it paired with the Apple Watch which lets you get all your notifications and even lets you see the pic of anyone winking/viewing your profile
You do have to pay to be a member with full access, but that's true with most decent dating sites.

Brill app, v easy to use. Chat facility is so quick to use and feels very safe without giving any phone numbers away. Definitely pay for membership! Had a couple of dates, then match recommended someone who I had the most things in common with who I started chatting too, then dating, now a few months later we are still together and couldn't be happier!! The app is well thought out and the stability improvements over recent revisions now mean that this app is a pleasure to use. Shame the quality of the app didn't influence your dances of getting a date :)

The site in general is improving and there are far fewer fakers on the site than other dating sites I have tried but the problem hasn't been eradicated completely.

The app allows you to set up your account and say what type of person you are looking for - height, age, weight, likes, location etc - but then it matches you with anybody, including people who are way outside of your specification. Overall I find the app easy to use, started talking to singles fairly quickly and so much better quality singles than free apps I tried.

The more serious dating service I have tried from the many dating apps. Match just seems to offer the more options to meet & talk to singles. I like the events and searching for singles who like me nearby. Easy to use overall & I started talking to singles fairly quickly (seems to have better quality than free apps). Enjoy being single again x
