Tbh, I only use this app because I can't always afford to pay my phone bill. (Stick with me, this review gets good.) I've got wifi at home, and basically everywhere else I go. The mall, public transpo, library, work, restaurants, Walmart, Target. Even sometimes walking down the street bc of all the random wifi hot spots around my city. I've had this app since 2010 and it's been the best app I've ever downloaded. It's only gotten better since then, especially in the past year. Photos send and receive perfectly now. In the past there were problems but not anymore It's easy to use. The layout design is so aesthetically pleasing. If you're using an Apple product you know you can't customize iMessage. It's those ugly green or blue bubbles against a white screen. Well, with this app you can change the background on the main screen and the text message screen, I use two different pattern designs. It's so cute how you can add a signature. Great if you wanna be unique. Even if you have a phone number from an actual carrier, get this so that when people you don't really like want your number, you can still be nice and give it to them :) That's what I did. Love this app more than I love myself ❤️

1. I BOUGHT either 100 minutes, or PAYED 10$ for 'x'?, amount OF MINUTES AND NEVER RECEIVED MY MINUTES. I gave them my money for their minutes and I received zero minutes!!! GIVE ME MY MINUTES. YOU OR THE SMALL TECH CO. U used to make Pinger needs to figure it out and just give me my minutes!!! please TY.

......is what I give this app. Pros: free unlimited texting. Unlimited incoming voice call minutes. Discreet, u can change ur # anytime I think. Cons: #1. No unlimited outgoing voice call minutes. 2. No "in-app only" way to save contacts solely inside the app. 3. A bit glitchy too, freezes alerts, doesn't give me all notifications. If you want a diff. # app than Vibeer, that is more discrete, get Pinger.

First off let me say that I love this app. It works great, is pretty reliable and has a nice look, especially since the update. Everything about this new update is awesome!!! Some things I like in particular is the new look, especially that the wallpaper is more faded instead of solid.

I do have one complaint: I don't like that the emoji symbols (like :) :/ :( ;) ect, especially :/ ) automatically transform into actual emoji faces... I'd much, much rather have the option myself. Please get rid of the automatic feature.

(Also I noticed some people had crashing issues, and since I have a newer device I don't have that problem, but you should fix it for someone else)

I can't beat this App :) It's now my only Number & it's a real phone number at that!!! Plus u can always earn free minutes! All my phone calls are always perfect & clear, not to mention unlimited texts!! What else can I say but who needs a cell phone provider ever again:):) lol. Provided u have wifi and the only time I don't have wifi is in my car, but let's face it, I don't need to be answering my phone while I'm driving anyways.... I just wish I would of figured this out sooner because I love saving $250 a month , bye bye Verizon!

This app changed my life. I have iPod touch and all my friends have phones. I downloaded this app and all of the sudden I could text and call for free. Another thing is adds. They don't pop up and cover your screen. They come in the form of texts, which is super helpful and don't block the screen. It even come with regular emojis, and extra ones so my friends get suuuuuper jealous. Dear pinger, u are the best thing that ever happened to me!

I just love this app, first has saved me money for I can use my data plan, never had a problem till the last update. When I contacted Pinger they responded right away with instructions on repairing the glitch I was having which worked. Being able to group text has been a great advantage. It would be nice to send multiple photos in one text. I have recommended this app to others who were looking for a second text URL.

I really like this app soo much! I can text and call for free and not have to pay! I works pretty well, but sometimes I doesn't let me send a message to a friend when I have wi-fi. I kind of wish you don't have to have wi-fi cause I want to text my friends when I am out of town, but I don't have wi-fi. Everybody that is looking at this, you guys SHOULD get IT cause it is a really fantastic app to use!!!!☺️

I downloaded the app to my iPod mainly to use the texting feature. It has worked great for over 2 months now. If you are looking for a texting APP you should definitely give it a try. There is also a Phone feature for making calls. I used the phone 1 time and it did work but i have not needed it again. Again, give it a try, it works great for texting and there is a ton of emojis to pick from

I love Pinger and think it is better than most if not all other texting apps. I do wish that it had the option to not leave the app you are currently on but just to swipe down on the notification when you want to respond to a text, like you can on the regular messaging or on facebook's messenger. Other than that it is an amazing app and I would recommend it to all iPod/iPad users.

I love the new update it's so streamline and up to date feeling I hate that people complain just because they don't like change, it's for the better are you guys are doing a great job keep it up , but change the meow ring tone and make it sound more like a cat it's so funny when my phone goes off but good job keep it up also add emojis they make the tests a lot more interesting

Pinger has taken my cell phone bill & thrown it out the window! Also allows me to conduct my start up business's phone calls slim to none annoying ads & my both my sons to use their iPod to message/call me--ALL FOR FREE! That's more than useful, it's a blessing!
Don't hesitate to try this app if you're on the fence!

Wrks great! My brother is incarcerated and a 15min call usually cost one of us 10to14 dollars! Crazy! I used a random number (don't use local number when choosing your number if your using it for a inmate)it's a out of state area code..now a phone call only cost .21cents a min!! Super nice!!! It was totally free on my side! I'm pretty sure all InComing call are!

I have used this for over 2 years. IT'S GREAT! Now use at work to communicate with my plumbers on the road. Uses no time on phone, or chews up time on plans, if you don't have unlimited. Messages always go out, can communicate with every phone service, send pic's, stickers, emoji's, it's the bomb in the texting world :). Would be lost without it.

This app is awesome but there is one flaw but I do understand y. They have a certain amount of minutes u have to call but on the bright side you do have unlimited text which is pretty cool to have when there is wifi or cellular data to use but other than the minutes this app is pretty great it meets my everyday needs for keeping in touch with people.

Me personally I enjoy this app because it gives free texting and a free number. Also they start you off with a couple of minutes, and to top it off they sell minutes at a minimum value, and if someone were to call, the call that was in progress would be free. So I highly recommend this app to the texters out there. I give this app five stars

This is truly an excellent calling and texting app! I have never constantly had issues, and if an issue does occur Pinger's helpful and resourceful support team solves it. At least give this app a try you won't regret it. I've been using this app for what seems like forever, and have never been disappointed.

I always try calling people but it never calls it ends right when the person answers. And it has to have minutes so you can't call unless you have the minutes. But you need to fix when people call it don't make a noise unless your on it my mom got mad couse I couldn't hear the ring she thought I got kidnaped

I USE PINGER AS A BACKUP PHONE APP.. pinger is a great example of how phone service should be but these sprint AT&T team mobile all get away with ripping the general public off out of millions of dollars a year.. I would trust pinger to call 911 before I would rely on my "other" unreliable Lg cell company

This is a quality app that works very well. Somewhat buggy but that will happen with any type of sms app not native to your phone. I have used this service for almost 6 years and don't see myself quitting any time soon. you get what is advertised and it works well. What more can you ask for?

Never have I ever had an app that has helped me as much as this one does. It makes my life way easier and makes contacting people I normally wouldn't see for months just as easy as a click away. It's how I keep in contact with the girl I love even though she is far away. Thank you pinger.
