Was about to fork out $40+ for a premium version of an American based Weight Loss/ Calorie Counting app. Fortunately the payment did not go through - giving me time to find this app. Quick comparison. This app (Easy Diet Diary) successfully scanned all items in my pantry and fridge. The US app - scanned three of 30 items - the remainder were either incorrect or unknown to their database. Easy Diet Diary - Free. US app - free with major restrictions or $40+ pa to do what this app does with ease. This Aussie app links with Apple Health, records exercise and is an absolute winner. Easy Diet Diary - quick, accurate and super convenient. I would happily pay for this app. Very happy that I had the good fortune to have a payment fail. As a general lesson - do your research before you pay for an app. Easy Diet Diary - far superior. Thank you to the developers - well done!!!
