It wasn't perfect a year ago but has vastly improved. I use the app for online purchasing and don't use my laptop. This is a 'win' because I'm buying five times more than I probably would in-store or on the web. It's so convenient and makes browsing and buying fun. And you get bonus goodies using the app that you don't in a store. Free mobile offer 'goodies' for purchases at least $25 and always get 3 free samples. I'm VIBRouge so the free 3-day shipping is the final win that makes it worth it to shop via app. Still love going to the store. The employees at the Zona Rosa store know me by name, always helpful, and treat me like a friend. Their customer service rocks and is the best in Kansas City. Having the app, though, makes impulse buying too easy. And I'll be honest and say that the samples I receive is how I try out and discover products that work for me. Though Sephora's return policy is awesome, I'm not going to buy a $40 item to try it out. So the free samples they offer in the app along with the mobile offer items is how I discover my new 'loves'. Please never take away these mobile goodies and keep improving the app. You've got a loyal app user from someone who is picky. Keep up the good work!

The Sephora app is easily one of my favorite ways to shop for makeup. I like it better than shopping in an actual store. All of the products are organized by categories and easy to look at. Since I'm obsessed with cosmetics I shop this app regularly and have practically memorized all the products Sephora has to offer. This is where the "What's New" tab comes in handy. That is the first place I look upon entering the app to keep updated on anything new that Sephora has to offer. The items load very quickly as do the different color selections of each product, which makes for a pleasant shopping experience. One of my favorite features about the app is the display of descriptions of the different products. They are condensed so that you can view an uncluttered screen, making it easy to focus on the actual product. If you want to know more about a particular product you can easily expand the description for more information. The same goes for product reviews. I would recommend this app to anyone who likes to shop for beauty products. It keeps track of my rewards, purchase history, and it makes recommendations for items I might like that I haven't already purchased. I love it!

BEST SHOPPING APP EVER!!!!
Everything I need and want is soooooo easy to order! This is is BEST online shopping experience I've ever had! Easy to mark FAVS and add and edit your cart...unlike the nightmare mazes some stores force you to crawl through when you want to get in and out. And if you have some time read, watch videos learn new techniques, styles and literally "wander and window shop!" It's that shopper friendly of a sight! I can research and review innovative....or just plain fun....new products!! And keep my makeup tower well stocked with my all time ab-fab favorites!!
And I LOVE ALL OF THE SAMPLES AND PROMOS/REWARDS for shopping!!! I feel like a kid in a candy store!! We all like to feel like we are getting a little fun something extra! And plz plz plz don't forget to watch the FREE tutorial/videos from professional makeup artists linked right from the sight. They are sooo much fun and valuable information considering they are professionals!!!! There is also a concierge number you can call for advice and or help. GREST JOB SAPHORA!!!

my issues are mostly with parts of the app I find contrary to user–intuitive, for myself that is. besides that, the app doesn’t list all the current offers in the “mobile offers” section, requiring scouring the website &/or emails to locate all deals, codes, et. al., the scanner for gift cards has never worked, & I wish the beauty bag settings could be altered to a default setting of my choosing (like I said, my semblance of user–friendliness). besides the aforementioned qualms, I adore the app & utilize it for all my sephora purchases. they have the best selection, the best return policy – who else lets you use the product & return it after 2–3 months. I didn’t deduct a star because I felt my quibbles with the app are attributable to my personal tastes & are not detrimental to warrant rating penalization. that said, if those issues I mentioned were fixed, I’d certainly enjoy the app all the more.

I Love this Store. It has excellent makeup deals everyday. My favorite being Bare Minerals. I swear by this makeup. I use it everyday & yes I've slept in it & no bad reactions from this makeup!!!!!!! I have very sensitive skin & Bare Minerals has never failed me once.
Another thing I really like about it is its buildable. U can get the desired coverage u want for ur day. If u feel more natural u put less on, if ur going out for a black tie affair u can build it up from ur day & get some dramatic coverage. One more thing it last forever. U'll have ur favorites just like I do. Mine being mineral veil. Sorry about going on about Sephoria but I cannot find this line of makeup anywhere else except on the infomercials. Love, Love , Love Sephoria!!!! ( oh yeah Sephoria also carries loads & loads of different types & lines of makeup so I'm sure ull find something suitable to ur lifestyle.

How exciting & fun to travel thru all the latest & greatest that Sephora has to offer fashionista's!!! Recently I had the opportunity to visit the CHICAGO Sephora store in Water Tower Place during my layover between trains from Iowa to Michigan. I had the nicest and very knowledgeable fragrance and makeup assistant there named Anna who totally Rocks! I would encourage others to visit her and have the pleasure of her beauty both inside and out! Anna is a Music major who truly expresses a quality like none other and works very hard to create a shopping experience that meet your needs and more!!! I was thrilled to find two amazing fragrances for my husband for Father's Day and one for myself, plus a gorgeous makeup bag to boot! What a blessing to have met such an inspiring sales assistant who made ME feel special while shopping @ SEPHORA.

The sidebar of Sephora categories is convenient. You swipe up when you want to search for something. There is a Buy Now option for those impulse purchases. Now they woo you with a fancy interface. The buttons are more responsive. They're modernized with a curved side. You have a Love List to help you remember what you don't need at the moment but desire in the future. There are reviews to read about products; your thoughts can become a product review for others. Orders can be placed directly from this app. They couldn't have made it easier for people to spend money.
Edit: They just added Apple Pay.

If only I could read the topics on BeautyTalk on this app. Opening Safari to accomplish this task seems to be a hassle with the ease of the Sephora app.

This is one of my favorite apps - I'm on it way more than I should but it makes shopping and saving so easy. When I'm in sephora, I'm on my app at the same time, and I add items to me "loves" list as I'm walking to the store so I can remember to buy them next time. You also get extra promotions if you checkout using the app. It's so convenient and good for sephora that they get so much extra money out of my by having this app. It also excites me because I can constantly see how many VIB points I have saved up and how close I am to being a VIB rouge. Genius. So user friendly, clean... Some apps are messy and you'd rather just use a computer, but I almost prefer my app over using my laptop! No negative things to say here. Just - I love it!

The Sephora app makes ordering my favorite beauty products a snap! Its unbelievably convenient, easy to use, simple & straight-forward, and my products are always delivered without a hitch. I would, without ANY hesitation, recommend this app, and Sephora in general, to absolutely anyone looking for an enormous variety of fabulous products at great prices! I also love their "Beauty Insiders" program. It gives you points for purchases which you then turn into anything from regular samples of products to full-size products. You can also receive unlimited free shipping, depending upon your program level. I can't say this enough . . Sephora is a fantastic store and this is an amazing app!!

Going to one of your stores is a harrowing experience with bright displays and wall to wall items, stands, and people. It's so crowded I prefer to shop online and it's lucky they make it easy to do so! :) It's a shame that more retailers cannot take a page out of your book -- high end stores like Neiman Marcus, Saks, and even Barney's don't quite measure up when it comes to your mobile shopping experience. I love the quick links, the way the app handles my favorite products, the shopping cart experience and how everything is in one place rather than having multiple apps. Thank you for making it waaaay too fun and easy to shop your mobile store -- VIB Rouge. 'Nough said.

So easy to use and seamlessly blends my in-store and online shopping experiences. Constant new innovations offer me stuff I never even knew I wanted in a shopping app! I can't recall ever experiencing a glitch. Being able to keep my shopping history, shopping list, and shopping cart in one app that also lets me a) scan products in-store to give price, reviews, recommendations, and IN STORE AVAILABILITY (thank you thank you THANK YOU) b) check my rewards balance/use my rewards card and c) discover cool new items and promos makes it easier than ever to feed my beauty addiction. I swear this app is the reason why I suddenly skyrocketed to VIB Rouge...and then kept going!

I love it! It has everything you can possibly imagine to make your shopping easy. It has your points and purchase history, you can save your favorites list, you can get fun little gift with purchase and you don't have to worry about entering your payment options every time because it's stored in there as well as your address. I love using it in stores to shop for newness items to look up info, I will research by reading about the product and also reviews. My favorite part is that it shows you a sale section, where in stores in New York you do not sell sale items. I think it's a very complete and easy to use app. Overall the best shopping app I have used!

I really like this app. It makes shopping a breeze. I'm from OKC and we only have one full store and two in JC Penney's. The JC Penney locations do not have all the retail items. Honestly less than half. So instead of driving to the full Sephora that is way across town from me, I order online. This app makes it so simple. It saves my Beauty Insider information, favorites, my bought items, shipping, and payment information. I literally just add what I want, add my samples, click checkout, and place order. No hassle. Plus the 3 day shipping for only $5.95 or free w/ $50 purchase?? Ace! Most places only offer 7 day shipping for over $8!!

The Sephora app makes it a little too easy to spend $. It's easy to use and has a good layout. Sometimes when I'm bored I just peruse items. I seriously woke up this AM and made a purchase on my phone while laying in bed, after receiving a notification that an out-of-stock item was back in stock. The only thing is, sometimes the app crashes when I'm using features other than "shop," such as the "Beauty Board." Aside from restarting the app, it isn't too inconvenient, just something that I'd like to see fixed. Thanks Sephora for fueling my beauty obsession and allowing me to go shopping in bed, on the bus, in a lunch meeting, etc.

Let me first say that I'm biased when it comes to Sephora. I shop here quite frequently, many times it is online. I do like the ability to purchase products I need on the go, if I am not home around my computer or laptop. I can use my smartphone to log into my account and make those purchases before a trending item has sold out... And we all know how it hurts to miss out on a hot product, like the new BECCA Jacqueline Hill "Champagne Pop" shimmering highlight that comes out tomorrow, lol. So this app is a must have. I experience no lagging or skipping in the server. I wish I could rate it higher

I've been using this app for quite a long time & as much as I enjoy shopping at the store Sephora itself I like using the app better in some ways, such as Sephora always offers free sample gifts with purchase & so on. I love the virtual tutorials & all the features are fabulous. You can't really go wrong. The app works beautifully. The only problem I have is my bank account draining itself into Sephora's wallet! Lol. I think I've spent over a thousand dollars in one week. Totally obsessing over Urban Decay and all their eye shadows plus a bunch of other fabulous products. Just love this app!!

This app is awesome and there website is just as great! It is so easy to navigate and you can find anything and everything you want and need without even knowing what it is! They have the best items and prices are very reasonable from cheap to expensive depending on your budget and the reviews let you know if it's worth the money or not! You can even find cheap things that are just as good as expensive ones! The reviews on their items are so convenient and it's also convenient to pay which isn't the best because I can end up spending a lot of money that way but it's definitely worth it!

This app is great. The layout is easy to navigate, well-designed, and functional. I especially enjoy using the filters to find exactly what type of beauty product that I am searching for. BeautyInsiders will definitely enjoy the perks of adding specials promos and getting Deluxe Samples that may not be offered in-store. Another great feature that in note-worthy is the Q&A tool available on the majority of the products. BeautyInsider's are able to ask any questions that they may have about a product, and get answers that are straightforward and firsthand experience-based. Love it.

Finally a retail app that actually has helpful features instead of just being an essential link to the website. The interface is quite user friendly, and I most like:
1) Apple Pay is built in, so you don't have to enter your credit card number online to purchase online. I always use this now.
2) When you're in the store and find something you like that you want to remember, just scan the barcode and it gets saved to your loves!
3) Updates by the second. I literally shop on my computer than turnaround and purchase my basket on my phone to use Apple Pay immediately after
