UPDATE:

Wow! Chargepoint listens to its customers. The latest update gave us an AWESOME charging status screen, complete with our car showing up on the map and PERFECT graphical representations of charging status. The "stop" button is also back - as one of those people intent on never charging over 90% to conserve battery longevity, thank you!

So glad CP listens to its customers - but please stop "testing our reactions." The charge stop feature is important to EV owners.

Chargepoint tried this before: remove charge session control - users revolt, use other chargers, Chargepoint reneges and adds the functionality back.

This time, we got a GREAT UI update. The app looks beautiful, is snappy and responsive, but they silently removed session control AGAIN.

Please learn from your mistake. You tried it, Blink tried it...it's not what your customers want. It's not about occupying chargers while not charging - it's about making more money. I've NEVER had an issue with a full EV camping in a spot.

Let your customers and charge station owners regulate their business...jumping in the middle just makes you look greedy!

Home page should be a status page, not a map. Show me my car on that map, and it's charging status - along with a stop button.
