Вообще обновление очень хорошо повлияло на мое восприятие приложения. Разработки Yahoo хорошо постарались и добавили несколько по-настоящему ожидаемых, необходимых функций. Еще удобно, что можно заходить через соц.сети.

I use this program daily. It keeps my portfolio up to date and front of my eyes in real time.

Read a lot of the other reviews and all I have to say is this - it is what it is - and it does it very good. If you want a news service pay up and get one!

I do agree with the reviewer who confused the yahoo finance link with this app. There is way too much leftist rhetoric. Dang guys, I thought news reporting was news reporting not weird personal opinions. Give it up already no one believes you.

But for this app. It's great - hard to argue with the rhetoric of numbers. - especially when I don't really care what you think.

Yahoo in general has always been good to me, but since they got a new president(I can't remember her name) they have going beyond my wants and needs ^_^. I really like two features; 1. You can add any stock you want to a personal list. 2. They sometimes gave ads when you're looking at news about a specific stock, but the ads are always yellow when the stock news is white background. With yahoo I don't have to worry about clicking on something that looks like news but is really just spam. All/all I'd rate yahoo about 4.9/5. They already have a few things on your personal list like S&P 500, DJIA, and NASDAQ.

Still love Yahoo Finance. For me this is their flagship service. Better than the slow app Bloomberg. With this release you can edit your shares and purchase price in the app. Now I no longer have to go to a browser, login to my portfolio and edit it there.

Folks your portfolios were not deleted. Click the watch list, select your portfolio then move the button to green for holdings. That's it. They should be back.

Took me a bit to figure out how to edit the holdings. Press and hold on the number of shares. You can edit everything you need and no longer have to go to your browser.

This is a good app for following stocks and markets at a glance. Yahoo posts links to articles, e.g., Bloomberg and news shows e.g., CNBC, relevant to the the particular stock or ETF you have added to your menu. Good overall news is listed under the major indices like S&P 500. Most of the links connect (about 80%) and they are more diversified than the news items that can be found on the Fidelity website, which is the best website I've found for researching individual stocks. For quick market and stock info and trends the iPad and iPhone Yahoo App can't be beat.

This is an incredible, beautifully designed finance app. There is no limit to the amount of stocks you can save and track and there are push notifications to alert you of any news of the market or saved stocks. The charts clearly show what you want and there is an inline browser for news. I highly recommend this app. The minimal drawbacks are very minimal and really they are simply that it's hard to get to the homepage if you do a lot and sometimes there is a little freezing but overall the interface and programming is phenomenal.

Love the availability of news relevant to ticker chart, plus the switch at the bottom for general market news. If it's true that over 75% of the time an individual stock will trend with the market (O'Neil), it's important as an options trader to understand the general market. It is doubly important to know which stoke buck the general trend also!

I can easily track 60 - 70 stocks with this app and adjust my preferred view, as well as indicators, for each stock's chart! ThAnks Yahoo for a great app & free at that!

The new update (2.4.0) does not have any problems, unlike some of the updates in the past causing the watch list to get erased and such...

The application has very good user interface, a very simple and effective design. It is also very handy with few and useful notifications and real-time data and such.

I would recommend this application for both people that are just starting to invest, and advanced investors looking for real-time data and an application with simple and effective use.

I've been using
yahoo finance for years. The desktop version and iPhone app. Both are great and love the improvements on new iPhone app. I just wish yahoo went into brokerage business so I don't have to keep entering my purchases in yahoo. Tda (3 versions of apps. Lol), Etrade, and Optionshouse stink. Actually the next best app is Robinhood which is an app that you can trade stocks on for no commissions. Go figure, the 2 free sites have the best apps!!

I love this app. I especially love the new Details feature where you can put in your own portfolio.
I have a feature suggestion to go with the new portfolio section:
It would be great if the app made a graph of Gains/Losses for the market close for the day so you could see your overall progress over time. Just like on the web when you look up a symbol. 1d, 5d, 1m, 6m, 1y, Max. That would be great.
Anyway, great app. I use it every day.

Up until August 2014 I had been a happy devoted user of the CNBC mobile app. Then when they revised the CNBC app, the speed dropped down to an unacceptable, and I found myself writing notes to technical support for CNBC. Alas, there was no relief from the poor response from CNBC app. So I started trying others and came across the Yahoo finance app. I am more than thrilled with the information the speed and the response.

With the last 'bug fix', portfolio information no longer loads. News are being updated, the securities from my portfolio are still listed by ticker symbol, but without any further information, just empty space. Useless for me right now. The home page just stays in constant "updating" mode. Please fix the bug fix!
iPad mini (1), latest iOS. And no, my network connection is working just fine with everything else.

I have only recently begun investing, but I was looking for an app that would allow me to see the gains/losses of each stock based on the purchases I mad and not just the market itself. It took me a few times of using the app and looking at other apps for what I "thought" this app was missing before I found it, but now that I know how to view the information I wanted, I'm completely satisfied. Thank you Yahoo!

The app the iPhone comes with is pretty good but nothing compared to this app! Both apps use yahoo stocks but this app goes so much more in depth than the app that comes on the phone. I actually enjoy this app more than looking at yahoo finance on my computer and I usually like doing things on the computer more than on my small phone screen. I would highly recommend this app to anyone who follows stocks.

This is by far the best finance app but one of the main reasons I visit the app on a daily basis is to see the recent news on companies that I follow. This app could be so much better if the news was more up to date. Even the default apple app that uses Yahoo Finance data has more up to the minute news. Please work on updating this asap - huge opportunity for yahoo to knock out the competition.

I liked the earlier version that I have used for 10 yrs but I think this new version is a step up.
I would like to keep the current price visible on the Watchlist page, it's more useful than seeing how much DayGain. It would be helpful if the user could shrink the width of certain columns--ie, why have room to write seven digits of shares when most people only need room for 100 or 500 shares?

I really love this app! It has a beautiful interface, amazing content and chock full of useful information that helps me make educate investment decisions! (Yahoo, you need to "become one" with this software and see if you can't model your company's vision accordingly, moving forward!) This app is one of my favorite financial apps! I would pay to use if it had some premium content!

I love Yahoo finance and the portfolio function for years, and I have been using the app for more than one year and I absolutely adore it. Gives me a great view on my iPad or on my iPhone so I can check the stocks and my portfolios quickly and with an efficient summary. The graphics are great and fully able to be manipulated to give you different views. Love love love.

I use this application for checking current price on stocks, and use it to read the daily news. It's simple and does exactly what I need. If your looking for an app that does more than just the basic tools, than this app isn't for you. If you looking for an app that's simple, easy to use, & has a good design then this app is prefect for you.

Awesome app!! The asset's news is well integrated, and the charts are interactive as far as getting trading data is concerned - unlike some other competing apps at concerns.

The app also allows you to enter your stock portfolio items and it tracks the stock prices, reflecting what your gains/loses would be. Very, very convenient indeed!!
