Store your DXA based body composition measurements in Apple Health. Observe how nutrition and fitness affect your body composition.

FitTrace Sync is a companion app to FitTrace. With FitTrace Sync you can upload your DXA body composition measurements into Apple Health. You can also transfer key nutrition and fitness data from Apple Health to FitTrace where it can be analyzed to show you how nutrition and fitness affect your body composition.

The following DXA variables are available to upload to Apple Health: weight, body fat percent, lean mass, and BMI. Note that FitTrace Sync uses your DXA total mass for weight and to calculate BMI. Apple Health's definition of lean body is fat free mass to FitTrace.

Transfer your fitness (steps, active energy, etc), nutrition (carbohydrates, protein, fat, dietary energy, etc.) and some health data (blood pressure, sleep, etc.) from Apple Health to FitTrace. In FitTrace you can overlay that data on your DXA body composition measurements to see how they affect your fat, lean, and bone mass over time.

Note that FitTrace Sync requires that you already have a FitTrace account and that you have DXA scans stored in your account.
