Wonderful recordings (real nature sounds not synth!)
The sounds must loop at some point, but I have not noticed any looping which makes for a good acoustic screen while meditating or studying.
Serene scenery within which one can place a virtual 'ear' to chose different sound-bouquets: breeze, babbling brook, frogs, birds, rustling leaves in the wind, or a combination depending on where you have put your 'ear'.
It is worth the price, because the handling of this innovative really cool app feels 'rich'.

Where have I been that I am just now discovering this series of meditation apps?? The collection is perfect for meditation, of course, but as a life-long insomniac, I play this all night long.....and it aids in the resumption of sleep!! I also appreciate the combination of verbal scrip and music/sound effects. Many years ago, I was a clinical hypnotist, and this would have been a lovely addition to suggest to anyone wishing to learn to go quickly into a meditative state. So peaceful!

Great sounds. They must be really long loops as I can't hear any loop. Love this and all of Franz's apps!

Request: I like the integration with the other apps, however I would like to request an easier way to isolate certain sounds, like just hear the birds, without the ocean sounds!

As with all of the Taptanium line of HD virtual audio environments, this is yet another superb invention with a versatility to combine effects, shift from day to night, move across a virtual landscape and it is simply amazing. Away combines seamlessly with all of the other Taptanium environments to blend effects of rain, water, wind, in the best audio creations at the iTunes Store. Nobody does it better and Away is the best so far.

I’m a law student and also have 3 children. I’ve had this app for about a week and it’s just great. I can spend a few minutes relaxing and then come back with some focus instead of reading and reading while kids scream. Previously I used the rain sound app by the same developer but it made me too sleepy during the day. I’d highly recommend Away for daytime and the rain sounds app for night time.

I've been listening/using 'Away' for the past week and love it. The music that you have selected (designed) along with the natural sounds (throughout the a day (24hr), and having it selectable is quite ingenious). Well done! What might be a thought is additional musical backgrounds to select from, but that might be a chore in itself, just a thought.

There are so many ways you can change the scenes and the music. Very relaxing and fun! Keep up the great work! You can change the time of day and the sounds are appropriate for the time of day. Move the orb and you can have some sounds, such as the water or the birds emphasized. Virtually limitless combinations is sounds. Love the flexibility!

Great sequel to his other apps. Love them all. Found the way you can pan through the pic and change the sounds emphasis to be unique. My wife has difficulty sleeping thru the night and this app seems to help her a lot. I've enjoyed all of the series and look forward to more and updates... Thumbs up again

I was a bit skeptical about there being only one scene but after fiddling with the audio range and seeing the WIDE differences between parts of the landscape, I'm totally blown away.

Beautifully done again! So glad to see the illustrator's work. It really does make this app stand out from the rest.

I used this app for the first time last night. My partner and I have been waking up at least once or twice every night for months. Now I don't know if we were just exhausted yesterday or what; but last night with this app on, we slept all the way through the night. High hopes from two insomniacs!

I always keep these apps on my phone. It's nice to see them integrate with each other so I can quickly switch between them depending on my mood.

They all have some unique features. My favorite feature in this app is how you can change the sound based on the location in the scene. Very interesting.

It may look like a simple scene, but this app's ability to create that perfect balance of serene sounds you need, is unmatched. Glide your finger around the screen to adjust what you hear. Find the mix of wind, water, wildlife, and gentle music you like, then sit back, and relax.

I thought this would as generic as the rest of these types of apps. However, the sounds are so well integrated into the beautiful scene it's just a delight. The level of how we would want to control all aspects of the sound is very well thought out. Worth the money.

I really like the controls on this one. Once I tried everything, it's got to be the easiest app to adjust what sounds good to you. The graphics are a delight to get lost in. I guarantee you won't be disappointed...buy this app.

Drag the cursor around the screen to hear different elements of layered nature sounds. Gentle background music. You can change beautiful artwork from day to night. Have other apps by same developer - equally as good.

I just wish this app and the rest of the similar apps could support portrait mode.

I love this app with the calming sounds and the relaxing images. This is just the thing to relax and unwind too. I think this is a must have for those under stress.

Having trouble getting to sleep? Other than listening to a political speech, this will put you to sleep faster and give you far better dreams.

The only way I would love these apps even more is if bat chitters and a waterfall could be seen/heard echoing through a cave or cavern
