I love the animation style, characters, easy-to-understand controls, downward-platformer mechanics, the story so far, and basically everything else about this sweet little game. Like many other free-to-play games, it has a limited number of lives that refill as time goes on (I haven't run out at any point yet), and certain power-ups that you either have to purchase or only be able to use on a few particular levels (I'm seriously considering coughing up the $3 to unlock all the "suits" on every level). I've been stuck on the 2nd world's boss level for several days now, but that's more my fault for having slow reflexes than the game's.

Collecting the stickers in-game is fun, although they can't be gotten to on every level without purchasing the suits, so occasionally you have to miss out on that if you don't make the purchase.

I should probably note that the suits can be purchased individually (or as a pack) with in-game "tokens" without spending any real money, but those are rather difficult to get ahold of (you have to level up experience-wise to receive any, typically only receiving one per experience level) and, rather than being saved up, they tend to be used on being able to continue a level from where you died at instead of having to start completely over, so I don't know how well that method would work for anybody.

Overall, it's an amazing app, fun game, and everything you could ask for from such a high-quality free-to-play game. ^^

Just keeps getting better :)....love how the developers keep adding content, making the game more than just a beat & delete. I love the themed challenges and cute outfits that go with.
Hope we might get more single player levels in the future too....even as extra IAP worlds/level packs would work for me ...I'm all about supporting a great game that has had fair & totally optional IAP from the start....:)

This is an outstanding game!
That deserves way more visibility on in the App Store....it appeals to a wide variety of gamers old/young & casual/advance ....this game is a unique combination of genres blended seamlessly, making it feels like something fresh & new.
I have played through most of the single player worlds/levels and have yet to experience a single bug/glitch/crash which is a very rare thing these days.....this game is extremely polished and so cute too boot :)
I hope we see some new worlds/levels soon....I wouldn't even mind having to pay a reasonable amount (IAP) for regular levels/updates ...
The IAP are also pretty optional so far and are reasonably priced...I bought all the costumes for like $3-4 which is all I've spent so far ...so less than $5 for a game I have enjoyed so much ...

I randomly downloaded this game not thinking anything of it or what I was getting myself into, and I was instantly hooked. Graphics and everything are done well, and the story is great! The game provides so many free-to-play levels aside from the story mode. I like it! Haha I actually spent the $3 to unlock all the suits and that was the worst decision I made for this game because now I can't stop playing it!! But there is a review a person out and they didn't like the "hearts" system the game has. You really only have 5 lives and once they're done you have to wait 15 mins for another to load. He didn't like that. Said he didn't want to come back once he lost them. But me personally I like that system. It makes me play it for a little while and then I can go about my day and not be sucked in to the game the whole day. Idk. That's my opinion I like how it gives you brief stopping points so you don't waste all your time on one game. But whoever created this game I want to tell them great job it's fun and not too easy and not too hard!

I've been looking for a Mario-esque game for my iPhone with arrow controls that doesn't look lame and I've finally found one! It takes a little getting used to for the controls but otherwise pretty simple yet still requires some thinking and problem solving. Some levels require certain suits to get all the stars but I like that you're able to pass each level just by reaching the end. Only slightly annoying thing is the other special suits are a little expensive seeing as you don't earn more coins or rewards for each consecutive day you play, meaning every 5 days you get one coin because the count starts over so it can take a while to save up. I really like the idea of collecting stickers to complete my collection. Maybe because I'm still a little girl who loves to get all the stickers possible hahah

Ps, the reward for inviting friends to play should be more specific. I invited one friend to play (who accepted) but still no free stickers and it doesn't say how many I'll need to invite to get this reward.

Starlit Adventures is truly a must-experience game for pocket gamers!

The graphics are both adorable and clean, more akin to what you'd expect in a console-based title and truly showcasing the rendering power of iOS devices. The simple and responsive controls also lend to an excellent gaming experience without getting in the way.

The levels start out quick and simple, but anyone who plays through a few stages will soon find out that this doesn't last for long. With plenty of unlockable content, from special suits and power-ups to stickers and side quests, it's hard to put my phone away sometimes!

Although the concept is simple, this game did a great job putting all of the elements together to create an adorable and fun experience that I keep playing over and over again. The characters and different suits are so cute and the levels keep getting harder so that it gets more challenging each time I play. You aren't forced to pay money to progress in the game and they give plenty of free stuff to keep the game fun. Overall they did an amazing job and this is the first game that I wanted to leave a review because it was so good. Keep the updates and free stuff coming and good job!

It's really difficult to find a game that is this engaging - and free! I often download games and delete them faster than it took to download them. But not this one! This game keeps me coming back day after day.

The gameplay is unique, and some levels require different suits and multiple plays to collect everything. Daily rewards are a plus, since I don't spend money on entertainment - I have bigger fish to fry!

As for improvements, I have a few suggestions:
1) Make suits and upgrades require 40/50 tokens.
2) More suits
3) Make more games - you guys have talent!

This game has a few great points. First off, it is actually free to play and win. The game will provide suits if they're needed for specific levels. All items and currencies can be obtained as rewards without spending money as long as you are willing to play enough to get them. Customer service was fast to reply to my inquiries and the game is VERY polished. The addition of items being available in bundles also makes for a much more tantalizing IAP setup. Can't wait to see what else comes down the road.

Brilliantly made game which is fun to play and challenging too. Worth $2.99 for sure. My children and I (age 42) are all absolutely loving this game. Highly polished. Perfect balance of ease and enjoyment mixed with some tough spots. A great game! The frequent updates and seasonal events add new challenges too and I'm glad they are all free! There are IAP, but I find you can enjoy the game thoroughly without them! Hugely recommended! Again, so many FREE updates with new levels. Yeah!!!!

I am in LOVE with this game, like I actually used my own money to buy the suits. It's cute and the stages are challenging. However, one thing I think may need some fixing is the token system. It's a somewhat good system, better than most games when it comes to using special currency, but it is still a little too slow. I think the daily tokens should stay at five once you have played the game five days in a row instead of starting back at one token after five days. Other than that, great game!

This game is absolutely awesome it's even better than some of the original Mario games and that's coming from me a huge Mario fanatic I love that everything is free you can use whatever you want in the game it's a wonderful wonderful experience it's well made were created in the characters are absolutely adorable easy to figure out easy to work but not so easy to be which is nice I do wish there was a jumper button for every suit instead of just the one adventure suit but that's OK

I was searching for a fun/cute game to play in my downtime & I came across this adorable game! It's so much fun, the characters are adorable, the sounds are cute & I love how you have to actually THINK in order to achieve your mission. I totally recommend it to those who are looking for
something cute. It reminds me a bit of the original Super Mario Bros. If you enjoy those types of games, you will definitely enjoy this one! <3

This game is simple enough to just pick up and play for just a minute, but also has puzzle elements so as not be boring. It is also fun enough to replay old levels without feeling like you are grinding. You can even challenge yourself by replaying levels with different suits which give different abilities. This would appeal to many different types of gamers and is also child friendly without seeming only child worthy.

This is one of the few games I can't seem to get bored of. The levels are just challenging enough to keep me interested but not so challenging enough to be impossible. Also, the Unicorn Suit has to be my absolute favorite suit ever. I hope it becomes permanent! I just wish I can use it in the infinite tower but that's not enough of a complaint to take away a star.

i recently downloaded this game and i instantly became hooked. its super underrated- the music, character design, levels, everything are extremely enjoyable and imaginative. this game calms my nerves as well as occupies my time in an exciting way. love the february update as well!! shoutout to the awesome team for creating my new favorite mobile game.

I don't leave reviews often, but I just had to for this app! I absolutely love it! The characters are adorable, the graphics are amazing, I haven't run into any glitches, the suits aren't too expensive, there are lots of levels, the levels are fun, it's easy to earn currency...you have me addicted! Keep it up! ❤️

Super simple gameplay and adorable graphics make this a great game to play, not to mention it runs GREAT on my old iPad Mini 1!... BUT... Like all game creators, you have to earn your money somehow, and IN-AP PURCHASES are an unfortunate part of this game. WISH THEY WEREN'T THERE, but I guess these game creators have to earn money somehow.....

I am completely addicted. The best part of the game is that the difficulty of each level is quite low, but to get 100% (all three stars + the sticker pack) is not always as easy.

I don't mind that it takes a while to get the lives back once you're down to zero. If it hadn't been for that, I might have played it all day long.

I love this game, it's fun suspenseful and the charters are very cute. I have no complaints but the fact that I have to either get coins (which I doing get much of) or spend real money if I want to get the new weapons. But thats with a lot of apps so I'm not surprised, but other then that, I LOVE THIS GAME. It's worth it! :)

It's hard for a good platform game to come by on a mobile platform these days. But this is just one simple, cute and enjoyable game. The level designs are great. Though you can unlock the different suits with IAP, you'll be able to over come most of the levels with the default suits. Thus no forcing you to spend a penny.
