This game is awesome! So addicting! I've never been into this type of game before but being a Simpsons fan, I had to give it a try. My only complaints are how impossible it is to get donuts. I would like it if you could save up a million dollars and trade them in for 100 donuts or something similar to that. Also, I hate that it doesn't ask for confirmation when you accidentally spend donuts to try again at the dog races. I have accidentally spent donuts there at least three times. Other than that, groovy game!

This is one of my favorites games, I have since I purchased my iPad mini back in 2013.... But the only bad thing about this game is that literally once or twice a day it automatically says "Downloading Updates" first is 15 updates, ok it's acceptable but later are 24 updates but then it jumps to 500 something updates, I've the impulse of erase the game but as I had put so much effort on it I don't do it. Please this is ones of Appstore's best games please check this and fix it the quickest you can. Thank you

Active player for about 3 years. Still fun to play if you want to go totally free, but if you can budget $20 - $50 a year on those silly donuts it does add to your playing experience. Try not to spend donuts on pretty objects that sit in your game and have no real purpose except decoration. There are many Internet forums that discuss the details of play...look them up! For example the Halloween UBO prize: this is a character skin for Mr. Burns. If you earned UBO, click on him, and there is your prize.

I love this game it's just that I wish you guys can do the waking day update again plz that would be AWESOME!!!! Because there are some players that join AFTER the update is over and that would not be fair to those players AND you guys would get more money because suckers (No Offense) like us would drop some dough to buy mmm... Donuts to buy all that cool stuff again, well at least I know I would do that. So you guys think about that because I have my money waiting to be spent on mmm... Donuts!! Thank you!

Amazing game! There are quests that you have to do and it gets updated a lot so there's always something new. You can always send your characters to work and get you money to spend on decorations and buildings and people... But anyway, there are some problems like when I want to collect my mystery box after five days, it crashes. Also it needs Internet to work AT ALL. Like, I understand why it needs internet for the friends thing, but just to go in and collect payments?!? But overall, this game is amazing.

I love this game, I really do, but for some unknown reason my game has glitched out completely minutes after updating. I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but all it does is show the sign "Out of Tokens, Buy More" (Yes or No) I click "No" and 1 second later the same message pops up. When I click "Yes" it doesn't go to the store like it should and just pops up with another sign repeating it. I tried restarting my game and even my phone but nothing is working. Please try to fix this for me.

**UPDATE**
My town has been recovered!! Everything is back to the way it was. The problem has been fixed.

I played this game for months and really liked it. This morning I went to play like I usually do, and everything was deleted. It took me back to the very beginning. I lost about 50 levels of game play. I went onto the EA website to try to contact their support but wasn't able to reach anyone. Don't waste your time playing this game only to have everything wiped out. Now I'm off to find a new game.

Great game, easy interface and you never need to spend real money to get interesting buildings or people. You can actually earn premium donuts and characters regularly through free play. Great themes and goals change with each season so it's always interesting.

It's all time based so you can balance between days where you want to play and check every minute or set things up for 8, 12, even 24 hours later. Also syncs between devices so I never lose progress when my ipad crashes or reinstalls.

I think this is fantastic. The graphics, the gameplay, the structure. It's all great. People said it was just about EA making money. I don't believe that is true. Sure EA may have a history of that but remember that they didn't develop it. They just published. The reason people thought that was because the game moves way way way slower without buying doughnuts. So just so you know this game is amazing and not about the company making money. They do wanna make money but they have to to continue the game.

The title was meant to be said just like comic book guy would say it. You can still play the game without spending money...and they don't stack the cards against you like some other games do. The main competition actually makes it impossible to complete quests unless you pay loads of money to finish them. The competition should be called ***"Quest For More Money". Don't get me wrong I don't mind spending money for the game, and this is the only game that actually throws me a bone every now an again.

This game I highly recommend if you like the Simpsons, cartoon like things, and games where you have a story line and missions. Not only does this game satisfy you if your bored, but it also is a fun game to play before bed or even during your homework if your still in school. I get home everyday and check my iPad mini to see if anything happened on the Simpsons. Again, I highly recommend this for people who love the Simpsons, cartoon like things, and games where you have a story line and missions.

I've never played an iPhone game as much as this one. Thank you EA for this great game

I've played this game since the launch of the iPhone 5 almost 2 and a half years ago. I still love it. One thing that I wish would be added however is a button to collect all money within the town, as it takes me on average about 5 minutes to do that per day and I really don't have that time anymore. Please please please consider adding one! I will continue to play this game for the foreseeable future.

Great app. I spend more time than I care to admit playing this game which is why I have a big problem with the Maggie Play-Doh factory game. What's the point of playing the game if I find Maggie with a whole minute left and continuously tap on her to no avail. I find her almost every time I play but the game is not accurate in allowing me to collect my reward. Couldn't be more frustrating to be given an opportunity to earn free doughnuts just to have the game malfunction. Please fix this issue

EA has horrible customer service. They will steal game content you paid for and then not give it back when you complain (happened to me). And eventually they will just stop answering you at all (also happened to me). They have no other way of contacting their customer service other than email so it makes it very easy for them to ignore you (very clever EA, nice scam). So kiss your money goodbye. You'd be better off throwing any money you were going to spend in these apps out your window.

This game is so fun to play. I love the animation in this game and how this game is all up to you in your town. I hadn't been into The Simpsons ever but when I started to play this game it made me want to watch the show. I love the ringtone for the reminder of when things are done. It's pretty funny to me to hear Homer's voice to remind me. But anyways I recommend this game because it teaches you how to manage your own town and it's fun to see the unique things every character does.

Honestly, I love this game this is one of my favorite mobile games. But I wish to see more things like 3 springfields like that one clash of clans option were you can have 3 villages. That is one major reason I want so we can have a weird town a perfect town and a messy town. The last thing I want is can you make the mystery box better I have spent 20$ and I got nothing just cars ponds and shelters etc. so please EA I beg you to put these two options on my favorite mobile game.

I've been playing this game since the beginning, I love it and it's very addicting but I wish you could put anything into the inventory. For example, Springfield heights. You have very little land and 10 of this building and 10 of that building and so on. Says can't store this hoarder. Allow more land please or allow to store some in inventory. Plus it would be nice to sell some things in the inventory that never going to use but won't allow. Please fix these two concerns please.

Is it really that big a deal to program a couple of rows of new land, preferably north? Or are your programmers too inept to figure that one out. No new land means no place to build which means no reason to spend donuts on any new stuff. It really is in EA's best interest to create more land in order for their greedy empire to continue to sell us more overpriced donuts. This is basic accounting 101.
Addendum:I can't believe you finally listened, 5 stars for more land! Yippee

I love the game and play it all the time. I think it would be better if every now and then limited time items would be offered again for anther limited time. There are things I've wanted but couldn't afford the or I didn't have enough donuts for it.
This would also help in completing the groups. For example, I have one of the aliens and need the other one.
Like most people have said, make earning doughnuts easier, cheaper to buy and purchase special things with doughnuts cheaper.

This is a great game. I've been playing this game for over two years now and have never boughten donuts because it's not necessary. Although, there are many things I would like to have for my town that I don't but I personally will never spend money on a game. The events they do make the game really addicting and fun to play. The story lines can be funny as well. It's a fun game to be creative with and it doesn't take up too much of your day. I definitely recommend it. 5 stars.
