This app has been a Godsend! I've been out if work due to surgeries and still have one to go as well as helping to take care of aging parents. I signed up to sell on this site out of dire need to get some past due bills caught up by selling out of my closet. I have SO much to get rid of! THE MOST USER FRIENDLY APP I have ever used to buy and sell on! The Poshmark Family has my vote for the best app to buy and sell on! I'm not JUST planning to get caught up on bills, but believing to be DEBT FREE in a very short time! And I give all the thanks to God for putting me in the right place at the right time, to learn of this incredible tool to clean out out my closet!!!! Kudos to the founders of Poshmark!! I'm been a member of Poshmark since March 2013. I joined as a way to clear out my "you the labels", worn once, maybe twice clothing. My daughter had just gotten engaged and I thought "hey, let's try this and see if I actually make money." I made close to $3000 in 6 months! It's easy, you just take a great cover photo, and a few other photos, describe what you want to sell, price it right and it WILL sell. The key is to follow and share other Posher's closets and they will do the same for you. It's a giant community. You're making friends as well as money. And it's none of this watching and waiting for bidding to be up. Posher's may purchase whenever they wish, it's very easy. Poshmark is a high end clothing, shoes, bags, accessories site where you can find NWT items or pre-loved items for amazing prices. They have a great customer service team. If you have questions or issues, they will resolve the issues quickly (via email). Over all, I've had really good experiences with Poshmark. I love buying and I love selling!

I have been using the ap now for over a year and I love it. My daughter told me about the ap and insisted I try it so I did. Initially I was just looking until i found a pair of heels I could not live without so I made my first purchase. The package came quickly decorated with adorable colored tissue and cute little note. I have since made about 5 purchases. Gifts for my daughter and things I just had to have. Most my deliveries have been quick and exactly what i wanted. I have only been dissatisfied with one purchase and that was a knockoff purse that I should not have purchased due to it being a knockoff. It was just poorly made and not the sellers fault. I just started posting my own closet and made my first sale. I am so happy with how the support team assisted me with any issues or questions I have had. I will continue using this ap. it is the best consignment ap out there. I highly recommend anyone wanting to buy or sell to download poshmark!!!! You will become an addict too. I tried a ton of other apps. This one is awesome! I signed up before but never did anything, i redownloaded it with the others to try, and made my first two sales in a week. It is great because I want to do this not just as a hobby. It's full of great people.
I WISH there was a place for our buyers to leave reviews or feedback like on other apps, which was a good thing on the others. Also, instead of one main price for postage, it would be better to have an option where the seller selects how much it weighs so the buyer can pay for it, otherwise I will still add it in to the main price -$5 for shipping on my part. That way it's upfront, and the buyer may not have to pay extra because it was overweight. I would also like it if you could add a few more pictures and have it a different layout for the pictures (like on Vinted). You don't have to scroll and you can easily click what picture your like to see and can zoom, etc. just some suggestions :) thanks!

I stumbled on to Posh January 2013 . As long as you educate yourself as a buyer, seller, and read the rules set forth by PoshMark it is a great place to buy and sell women's fashion . If you want to sell something other than that . This is not the App for you! It's not just about listing an item to sell . You learn how to take great pictures which helps to market it the item. Networking is a big part of it also. There is a Suggested User's Program and that is something to you want to strive for in your closet . I have made some really good friendships . They are my PFF's. We are all about supporting and empowering each other as women. Of course there are people that may not be on here for the right reasons. They usually do not fair very well. PoshMark frowns upon those who sell replica's or fakes. In fact they will delete your closet. So don't think this is a place to do that . After a little over two years selling and buying on PoshMark I am quite happy !

I've had a great experience on Poshmark, and I'm so excited that they're adding mens and kids sections! There are a few annoying people and drama queens on there, but I've sold over a hundred items and I haven't had any problems. 20% seems like a steep commission, but it's pretty standard amongst these selling apps. I just wish they had live customer service or a phone number you could call. The app itself is very streamlined and clean and easy to use. This is the best selling app I have ever used, and I have made a few friends on it too! The community is wonderful and everyone is very helpful and kind and it's a lot of fun too! I'd definitely recommend it for any social media buffs out there looking for an easy and fun way to make money. I do have one suggestion (for the developers if they read this!) I'd like to be able to post more than 4 pictures. Some of my high end designer bags need more detail shots and I'd like to have 6, or even 8 to 12 pictures.

I'm a new Posher, but so far I am loving it! I've already ordered two pairs of shoes and both are great. Plus, I got them for a fraction of the price of what I would have paid at even a high end thrift store. Although both pairs were used they are in "like new" condition, just as described! I will definitely be using this site to sell my own clothing items as it sure beats trying to sell them in a yard sale! Even with the fees that are charged I will make more than if I sat outside in the heat having a yard sale, using my valuable time and not to mention all the energy it takes to set up and take down a yard sale!! Not to mention that clothing is usually the hardest to sell at a yard sale!! Don't get me wrong!! I am a HUGE lover of yard sales, (going to, NOT having), thrift stores and any discount shopping but the fact that I can do pretty much the same shopping without having to leave my house makes this my new favorite addiction!!

This app and it's purpose serves me and my cluttered closet perfectly. Customer support is responsive, and I feel safe purchasing and selling using it. I am concerned for the people that are trying to lure people to use Mercari because it currently doesn't charge a commission, but that will not last, and you can not beat using the USPS to deliver your packages at your choice of your home or your PO box. It makes me feel better not having to arrange re-delivery if something is missed, or reporting my item stolen. I'll continue using Poshmark as I like keeping my online purchasing profile limited to names I trust. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to create an online business with minimal investment! And the 20% commission works out to be a much better option than listing fees and uneven shipping costs such as with eBay. I like negotiating and getting a fair deal. The local consignment shop can't match the deals I get here.

This is an amazing site. I am true Posher and will remain only a Poshmark user. They back their sellers and buyers with an honest review. My only issue with Poshmark is that their
customer service is hard to get a hold of. When you email you get a generic message. I think they could improve in that area. You do see the same gals getting the host pics, but that don't really bother me. I do not participate in the parties but try to share an older party every now and then just to keep them in the feed. Other than those issues this is the place to sell, this is my place to sell and my closet is my art museum not only to show off clothing,but to show off my photography skills.
Having some one buy from you is a plus. It's not the easiest place to sell. But the friendships you make are priceless. I have met many wonderful women whom I consider my Posh family!

Been using Posh to buy and sell clothes and accessories for about 2 years now. There are some negative aspects to the site (fake designer goods, people who want to "trade" against the app's rules, high commissions and high shipping costs to buyers) but I honestly think the positives outweigh the negatives. I have made several hundred dollars in the span of a couple months selling clothes and other things that I probably would have donated otherwise, which is awesome. On the buying side of things, I have found great pieces there that have been retired or discontinued that I would never have been able to get my hands on otherwise. If you're super serious about selling and trying to get back what you paid for your stuff, you might have some issues, but if you're just looking to make a little extra money on the side - highly recommended! Also - fwiw, I think Posh is way less of a headache than selling on eBay.

Initially I really was intrigued with this app, especially after using eBay for a year. But then I got more involved after seeing how others were selling lots of their new and used items, I began to network more by attending parties, sharing more of others listings and inviting my friends to join. Now I sell more on Posh than on eBay. I love the fact that I don't have to figure out much with shipping cost because Posh does it for me while I mostly focus on posting great pics and networking. Everything has it's pros and cons in life I just capitalize off the pros and make money while enjoying myself by using the app to my advantage. I still sell and buy on eBay because they are widely used and I sell internationally so I feel their advantage is a larger market of potential buyers and it's more like having your own business. Poshmark is more fun as a seller app it's like selling to one of your friends.

Have sold several items on here. No problems at all so far! The "community " is very friendly and supportive.

Update: almost 4 months since I have started using Poshmark I still love it. Have sold many more items and even purchased some. There is a vast majority of designer items available and you can bargain with people. Poshmark does not charge any fees upfront which is nice. The 20% they do take in the end does seem steep but really they make it very convenient to ship your sold item by sending you a prepaid label. I believe it's worth it. I also like that you can request a check instead of being required to enter bank account info.

One suggestion or maybe 2. First, being able to purchase gift certificates would be nice. Second, being able to send someone your likes in wish list format would be awesome!ok a third would be to open it up to Canada and other easy to ship to countries!

The only thing I have to say that's even bad, isn't POSHMARK itself, but the some of the Poshers are very nasty. They get in everybody's business. You go to list an item and as far as you know you think it's authentic because it was a gift andryouu were told so. Then on top of that you have proof of some items as in the card. Then they say it's still a fake. Three very evil, no good ( they'll get there's one day ), totally went to the sells I had made and told them not to buy from me! That I was a scammer and my items weren't authentic!!!! How dirty can you get? That's ok, because just for what you did! You'll get yours in a bad way! From another Posher and God!!! How dare you go and tell my buyers I'm a scammer. Just jealous cause you didn't make a sell. Karma is a bi...!, and you know who I'm talking about. God don't like ugly. Looking at the reviews, I was surprised to see such negative feedback! I have had nothing but success and have come across some really kind people who are trying to make money out of their gently used items, like myself. I love fashion and this is a perfect way to spend my down time shopping online but also selling items that I no longer am in need of to someone who will hopefully get better use out of it. I personally think the app is fun and creative. I am constantly checking the new inventory and actively reaching out in the Posh community. I have told all of my friends and family about this app and I would 100% recommend it! I have been lucky and made a substantial amount of money in a short time. Posh makes earning a little spending money super easy and fun! I am without a doubt obsessed. Don't let the negative reviews change your mind without experiencing posh for yourself! :)

I am a buyer and seller!! I love this app. The organization , the whole vibe is absolutely Positive and Fun ! I can honestly say i have yet to come across a rude , or unpleasant #PoshMate ! Selling is fun because most people show the utmost gratitude and excitement upon receiving their purchase ! Buying is fun because finding awesome deals is always Easy!! The surprise Gifts and extras that sometimes come with purchases are always exciting as well. Another great way to feel comfortable with purchasing is the Love Notes !! I do wish the average ratings showed on each persons profile ! It would add to being comfortable and certain that you are making a safe Honest purchase that you will be happy and satisfied with ! overall I believe in the success of PoshMate and can wait for all the new added features and greatness that will evolve over time!!

I have been on for 2.5 years and I can't imagine my life without Poshmark now. I have met incredible women through the App, sold over $22k worth of stuff and of course scored some major Poshfinds like an Alexander McQueen scarf, Phillip Lim Pashli and JCrew goodies at amazing prices (all while having fun). My current fav is new rag and bone booties for $100! The community is incredible - I see women help and support each other here every day and its really moving. Lastly for people complaining about the commission, I wanted to provide some context, eBay takes 13% (including PayPal fees) and any consignment store takes a whopping 40-60%. Poshmark takes 20% and I think this is well worth it for the additional service and support they provide, over eBay. I sell on both platforms and quickly moved nearly all my items the Poshmark because of the better and easier experience.

I have been buying and selling on Posh for a few months now, and I have been having so much fun. It is truly addicting! I even find reading the rude and/or whiny posts entertaining and then I move on. Those people aren't going to get my business but that's the beauty of it, there are literally thousands of sellers to pick from. I admit I liked the app better before they allowed retailers aboard - I am a vintage and thrift shopper through and through and it's not nearly as much fun for me. The only thing I'd like to see change is the high shipping rate. I would love to have a lower rate for low priced items. I think it would generate a ton more sales. I wouldn't hesitate to buy that $4 pair of earrings if the shipping didn't tack on $5 and I think that would hold true for some the things featured in my closet. Overall, though, great customer service and support. Awesome app!

I started out super excited because I found a ton of steals on POSH. Then I realized that buying everything was going to eventually make me broke... I also realized that I could be making money back by becoming a seller. It took a short while & at first quite a bit of effort for me to get my closet visible but I figured it out. POSH is the one place where "sharing is caring" truly applies. The app makes it easy to do selling & buying anytime or anywhere. I've never even POSHed on a computer. If anyone complains about POSH it's because they haven't put enough effort into it, don't enjoy fashion, don't care about getting discounts, or don't have enough patience. As for me, I'm having lots of success & having a blast! PS a word of advice to avoid scams on POSH: Stick to the rules! No PayPal. Don't trade or sell/buy men's/kids clothing or knock offs. And don't tolerate drama...

I don't think my review can do justice to how amazing Poshmark is. I am a stay at home mom and I am able to utilize Poshmark to BE able to stay at home with my kiddos. The app is easy to use, self explanatory, fun, addictive and overall- awesome. The team at Poshmark is always coming up with innovative new ideas that made the app better and better with each update. Whether you just want to downsize your closet and get some cash in the process, or if you want to have a side business selling women's fashion- this is the perfect avenue. I just started buying from Poshmark recently as well and every experience has been top notch. My packages come looking, smelling, and feeling better than they do from any major department or online store. The individual posh selling their items take the extra time and go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with your purchase. Go POSH!

I've been using poshmark for almost 2 & 1/2yrs now (no1_lechuga). I've earned hundreds of dollars just selling my old clothes and I've had so much fun doing it! Everyone is very kind and it's almost impossible to get scammed. It's also really easy to buy things and you can easily find exactly what you're looking for in the search bar. The only downside is the commission fee. They take $2.95 off anything under $15. It makes it really hard to sell my clothes for a reasonable price. When I first started using the app, it was 15% taken off for everything and that was great but the $2.95 just seems unnecessary. Another upside, however, is the flat rate for shipping allows you to ship things from under a pound to 5 pounds for the same price. That's very different from vinted and mercari who charge different prices for small, medium, or large weights.
