This update is a huge improvement from the prior version. The interface is no longer messy and non-intuitive. It is very easy to pay your bill, review recent transactions and view available promotions. Everything you would want in a credit card app.

American Express has been keeping up with the quality standards they claimed long time ago. The app is user friendly, it gives Touch ID option instead of password entry to log in and provides easy and quick access to all information a customer needs.

I've used the Amex iPhone app for years without any issues. Great design and functionality as well as frequent updates such as the amazing finger print logon option in lieu of a typed password. I recommend this app for anyone who has an Amex account.

I love the update. User interface is smooth and shows me everything I need. Love Apple Pay, Touch ID, everything. Really wish I could redeem any amount of reward dollars but with the blue cash rewards I usually get to 25 or 50 dollars pretty quick.

I can do absolutely everything I need to do regarding my account on this app. It is very easy to use. Easy as swiping and entering stuff. This is now actually my preferred card to use because of the ease of account management with this app.

The individuals who are mentioning problems with this application are obviously tech-handicapped. As a software developer, the app offers a ton of features that I use daily to review or make payments to my credit cards. Very pleased!

Amex always has great customer service and the app is no different. App works perfectly, simplistic to use and navigate through. Most importantly it has all the balance, transactional and reward information easily available.

This is by far the smoothest credit card app on the market. Easy to set up fraud alerts, see balances and navigate through the pages. What won me over was the direct dial to customer service through the app. Thanks Amex!

They're up to date all around. They always have the consumer in mind and have great customer service. This app goes along the same lines. The Touch ID is great and they've set up the app so things are so easily done.

Easy to pay and track spending. Also push notifications after you purchase something lets you know every time your card is used. My only recommendation would be to make it easier to see when the next payment is due.

when ever i open the app and when I come out and go to different app and when I double app I see American Express its black page why is that???? iPhone 6 try it on your iPhone to see what I'm talking about

Amex has done a great job with this app. It works pretty seamlessly. I love that it uses Touch ID and it's easy to view transactions or pay when I need to. This app dos the job and it does it well.

Great way to log in when you're on the go or anytime you need acct info instantly. They keep adding new features and are always there to help. This app is a must for anyone that has the card!

Love the instant notifications for payments. App is one of the reason I prefer this over other cards. Very convenient way to manage accounts. Access statements, review activity instantly.

It's so easy to navigate. I like using better then logging on line through the website. I can check my statement any time, this app also has a fingerprint scan. I can also makes payments.

I like being able to check my balance quickly and use points to pay off some of the charges. Also the offers--much more likely to review and add to card with phone app than using laptop

Absolutely loving this new redesigned Amex app. Now I can clearly see my credits , supplementary transactions and payments. Very fast and and easy to use, good job Amex . Thanks.

I use the app everyday. Could be better... But great app nonetheless. However - I'm receiving purchase alerts for my Platinum and Blue Cash, but not my Everyday card. Known bug?

This app makes me value my amex card membership. It is simple, it sends you purchase notifications instantly and it is very well designed and easy to use. 5/5 without a doubt.
